We are a family run business, established in 2013, and we are part of the Bluebird Care franchise, which has over 200 branches across the UK and Ireland. We offer a variety of care at home services, with pricing for 60 minute, 45 minute or 30 minute visits.
We also specialise in live-in care, we have been providing this service for over ten years.

We will always endeavour to offer the best value packages of care to our customers. We are not the cheapest provider you will find, as we pay our staff the highest rates in North Yorkshire (including travel time). This means we have loyal team of highly trained, empathetic carers, some of whom have been with us since we started our business. We offer high quality care, with continuity, to our customers. Please note that our fees are fully inclusive, there are no "add-ons", such as mileage and travel time.

A graduate of Manchester University, Heather spent many years in senior management roles within the public sector before co-founding the company with her husband Sean in 2013. She was driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, particularly within the local community. Away from work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and keeping active. In April 2018, she completed the London Marathon, raising over £2,500 for the Institute for Cancer Research in London. In July 2025, she raised over £1000 for the Alzheimer's Society by completing the Trek 26 miles hill trek in the Yorkshire Dales.
Sean graduated from London Queen Mary's and Cambridge University, and, like Heather, built a career in senior public sector leadership prior to setting up the company in 2013. He was motivated by a shared commitment to creating positive change through high-quality care services.
Outside the office, Sean enjoys family life and is a keen sports enthusiast, both as a spectator and participant.
Lauren started her career with Bluebird Care in 2017 as a care assistant. After 18 months, she progressed and gained a promotion to Field Care Supervisor in 2018 before becoming the Care Coordinator in 2021. Lauren has since become the Registered Manager and recently passed her Registered Managers Interview with CQC, the day before her 24th Birthday. For Lauren, building close relationships with our care assistants and enabling customers to remain at home for as long as possible is the most rewarding part of her role. Lauren always knew that she wanted to work in the care industry and support the elderly and vulnerable since caring for relatives when she was younger. Lauren has completed her Level 3 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care and Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health, and Lauren is now completing her Level 5 Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management in Adult Care. Lauren is extremely family-oriented and loves spending time with her two children, Annie and Humphrey.
Meg joined the Bluebird Care team in January 2022 as a care assistant. She quickly progressed to flex care assistant, then to Field Care Supervisor in June 2022, recently promoted to Deputy Manager in June 2025. Meg has worked in the care sector for over 5 years and has vast knowledge and experience of care after working as a senior care assistant in a care home, gaining valuable experience. She is currently completing her NVQ 5. Outside of work, Meg enjoys spending time with her son, Noah.
Jules has worked in nursing and health care for over 10 years. Having joined Bluebird Care when the company started in December 2014, Jules has worked her way up the ladder from care assistant to supervisor and now to her current role as our Training, Recruitment and Live-in Care Manager. Jules finds it a great joy to see the newly trained care assistants flourish and develop to support our customers from the comfort of their own homes. Jules has a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and Train the Trainer qualifications in Medication Management, Moving and Handling and first aid. Outside of work, Jules loves looking after and caring for her garden.
With over 20 years of experience working in Finance and Accounts, Kendra joined us at Bluebird Care in 2019 as our Finance and Payroll officer. Having lived locally for 20 years, Kendra loves to travel as much as possible with her family and cannot wait to go on more adventures soon.
Alanna joined Bluebird Care in 2021 as a care assistant and was promoted to Field care supervisor in 2022. She enjoys supporting customers to remain at home and building relationships with the care staff. Alanna has always wanted to work in care and has completed her level 2 and 3 Diploma in Adult Care and is studying for her level 4 in management. Alanna has over 8 years of experience in nursing and community care.
Outside of work, Alanna enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her family.
Stacey joined Bluebird Care in February 2025 as a Care Assistant before being promoted to Field Care Supervisor in August 2025. Stacey is currently studying for her level 3 Diploma in Adult Care. Stacey enjoys supporting customer to remain safe at home and building relationships with care staff. Prior to commencing employment with Bluebird Care, Stacey was a Yard Supervisor looking after horses. Stacey enjoys looking after her horses and dogs and reading books in her spare time.
Matt started his career as a care assistant and worked in that role for around 6 years, then progressed into a coordinator role. Matt spent about a year in a coordinator role, then joined Bluebird Care in his current role as a Recruitment and Admin Officer in May 2022. Matt has a passion for recruiting people into the care industry because it can be an amazingly rewarding job. Matt feels working his way up to his current role has massively benefitted him, as he can take from personal experiences in his previous roles when speaking to new applicants about how amazing and rewarding a career in care can be.
In Matt's spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and going on days out.
