Amazing, very helpful, and caring staff who are taking care of my auntie, very smiley, chatty and always went above and beyond. The office was fantastic, always very helpful over the phone and in person. Big thank you to everyone.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review, I'm so glad that we have made your aunt experience of domiciliary support a positive one.
Overall a very good service.
Thank you so much for your extremely positive review. I am so pleased that Wisteria Care are able to provide a very good service to your family member.
Wisteria employs carers that poach their clients for a cheaper price privately and then do not do their job. Management apparently aware so God only knows what happens with end of life care. We noticed large amounts of money withdrawn from our late aunties account.
Hi Robin, Thank you for your review, and I'm sorry you have had such a bad experience with your Aunts private carer and I'm so sorry for your loss. I can assure you that I was not made aware that a care worker employed by us was providing support to your Aunt in a private capacity until recently...
Big thank you to Wisteria Care. My friend was cared for by Wisteria Care for many years, and their level of service was impeccable. The management in the office would go leaps and bounds to help, and their communication was top-notch. Their empathy, along with their knowledge and integrity, knew no bounds. Big thank you to them! Excellent team at Wisteria Gillingham.
Thank you ever so much for your lovely review of Wisteria Care Gillingham. I am so pleased that we exceeded your expectations.
The staff that came and cared for my grandfather were second to none. The management in the offices were always on hand to help me with any queries. The carers were always respectful and managed to allow my grandfather to retain some independence and keep his dignity intact throughout his time as a service user! Unfortunately, he did pass away, but his passing was graceful and made easier by the team at Wisteria.
Thank you for the wonderful review, and I'm so sorry for the loss of your grandfather, an extremely kind gentleman, adored by all. I'm so glad that Wisteria Care were able to support yourself and your family through this awful time, with the upmost respect.
Wisteria has been an amazing care provider for my cousin. The staff have been very respectful and friendly, always asking if there is anything else they can do for us. The office staff especially the registered manager have always been amazing and extremely helpful with any concern we have and always going out of her way to help us with what whatever we need.
Thank you so much for the incredible review, we are very proud of our staff, and the level to which they work at upholding respect, dignity and choice to our clients. I's so glad Wisteria Care were able to support your family member.
My Father was looked after by Wisteria for 20 months after he had suffered a stroke which left him completely paralyzed on the right side. This was an extremely difficult and upsetting change to my father and a frightening time for my Mother. Two people were sent to us like angels and even though we have recently lost my father, we will be forever grateful. The two staff members in particular made a very difficult time so much better. They were professional, caring, empathetic and went above and beyond. Also others within their team - four in particular were fantastic with my father.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. Your father was very much adored by all care staff, and the two you mention in particular I know miss him greatly. I'm so pleased that Wisteria were able to support your family at such a worrying time, and wish you all nothing but the very best for the future.
When my grandmother had a fall and broke her wrist, the staff were very helpful to her, ensuring she had everything she needed before they left, I couldn't have asked for a better short-term service for my 93-year-old grandmother, they supported and encouraged her to be independent until she was once again able to look after herself. Thank you to the team for being so lovely and caring towards my grandmother.
The staff are very kind and caring!
Complete lack of care and compassion by the office.
A professional company.
I am satisfied with the service I receive, although some are more attentive than others.
While individual carers working for Wisteria were fantastic, overall the experience of working with the agency was stressful. One major concern was timekeeping. Carers were often very late for scheduled slots. The individuals concerned were very apologetic but explained they had sometimes been scheduled to be at three separate addresses at the same time. One carer told us she had 27 clients to visit that day - an insane number for any individual to undertake and ensuring each visit would be necessarily shorter than required. Most worryingly, one told us they had been specifically told not to tell clients about being booked to be in more than one place at one time, so, in essence, to lie. These issues of scheduling were articulated by more than one carer, so it was not one person with an axe to grind against their employer. As said, individual carers were often great, but hard-pressed to do their jobs given the way they were poorly managed.
A highly recommended care service. The staff are professional and genuinely caring. Very accommodating of your needs and wishes.
Extra visits put in place when needed for additional help. Great service.
The carers only stay for 15 mins, which is not long enough to do the necessary work. (This time is instructions from their office). DCC pays for 30mins.
There are always dirty crockery in the kitchen.
The level of care is minimal. Very poor value for money and is barely able to provide basic human needs.
Care Package is commissioned by DCC for 2 x 15 minutes for meal preperation and there is no time allowed for domestic tasks such as washing up. Any issues about length of time of visits should be taken up with DCC. Decisions about the level of care are made by the Social Worker/Care Manager and...
