My father had emergency support care for 6 weeks from another company, and it was not great, they were in and out in 5 or 10 mins.

My father had emergency support care for 6 weeks from another company, and it was not great, they were in and out in 5 or 10 mins.
Holywell was not one of the 3 that were offered to us by LCC, but we requested them as they had cared for my mother in law. Fortunately, we were able to use them.
Dad only had a short term with Holywell Care, but he was very pleased with them. All staff were professional and polite, and stayed for their allocated time. He always had a chat to them.
He was so happy, especially after having people in and out, not really interested in him. It made him happier, reassured him, he was never rushed. This made the family more reassured.
Thank you to Holywell, Preston. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to others.

All of our staff receive training to support individuals with mental health needs, and this is refreshed regularly. That said, we do take your comments seriously and will continue to review how we can further strengthen training and support where needed.
We are sorry to hear your concerns regarding interaction. We do expect carers to engage positively, encourage activities, and spend quality time with the people they support. Mobile phone use should only be for work-related purposes, and we will raise this with the team and carry out further checks to ensure standards remain high.

I worked as a PA for one of your service users for the last 12 months . Whenever we needed extra help or a last minute call , the co ordinator Simon and the girls couldn't do enough to accommodate this . The girls who I came into contact with were experienced, compassionate and understood my clients needs and the care was person centred around her , she became very fond of them all. During the last few weeks of her life she needed 24 hour care , and Holywells stepped in again to do overnights and film in the gaps . The co ordinator made this difficult time so much easier for us by accommodating all our needs effortlessly it really was refreshing to see how this company worked to give great care , sometimes at short notice .
I can't thank you enough for working with us all to deliver great care to a wonderful client

I am satisfied with the care provided by Holywell Domiciliary Care Services. My husband has the same team of carers which I find important in providing trust and continuity. They are professional and caring always willing to help. The areas they use are always left clean and tidy.
