Bluebird Care Gateshead

When my husband was diagnosed with end-stage heart disease we wanted him to stay at home but realised it'd be hard and we'd need good support. After much research, we opted for Bluebird - and are so pleased we did. We called our criteria 'the three Es': experience, expertise and empathy. Bluebird has given us exactly that, and more: consistency (crucial) and also a quiet understanding and compassion for what were both going through. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble, not only for the carers but also management. Highly recommend!

I find that the carers really care, and are very helpful.

I have been impressed by the consistent quality of the visiting carers and head office staff. They are friendly, loving and professional. The reporting app is very useful in keeping up to date. Bluebird are very responsive to the various changes which are typical of domiciliary care.

Bluebird carers are very good with my son they do a fantastic job he is always happy to see them & they are happy to see him no complaints what so ever I hope he will be able to be looked after for a long time with Bluebird

I would rate this supplier of care as excellent. As even when there was confusion over when they thought that my husband cancelled my lunchtime visit, they looked on their rota and replaced it within 90 minutes. The girls are very well-trained and seem to know how to handle every situation and they are all so friendly.

Bluebird have been coming to my cousin for several years now. Excellent carers who know my cousin's needs and meet them. Polite, gentle and caring & they treat my cousin with dignity and respect.

Takes time to understand task and assists whenever possible

Very happy with the service provided by the carers who my mum likes very much. They carry out the tasks we need them to do as well as spending time with mum. Bluebird themselves are very helpful always try to provide cover at short notice if asked. Very nice and friendly on the phone and in person. Could not be happier with the whole situation for mum and my family.

All the staff do a perfect job and are very polite and obliging.

The ladies who care for me are fabulous very caring individuals, they make my meals as well as making sure I am okay. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I just need to mention something and it is done. I am very happy with Bluebird and the carers they employ. They are efficient and helpful.

I cannot recommend Bluebird Care highly enough, from my very first phone call I have found them to be very professional, caring and friendly. Every single carer has been wonderful and has treated my mother with the utmost respect. We could not manage without them.

I can highly recommend Bluebird Care, Gateshead. Everyone at Bluebird, both carers and office staff, consistently go above and beyond to look after my dad and to ensure he can live safely and with dignity in his own home. Over the years Dad's dementia has progressed and they have always been able to react quickly to his changing needs. I don't live close to Dad so to know that he's being so well looked after is a great comfort.
