My daughter has been with this agency for many years and we're very satisfied with the results she is very happy and excited to see the carers they are efficient and caring and they provide first class support and we are very happy many thanks
The company overall work with us and alongside us - they are professional and communicative and well organised.
We are happy with all aspects of his carers, and I would recommend them as a company.
Dear Catherine, thank you for your lovely words that mean so much to all of us, we will share this feedback with the team. It is always our pleasure.
Nightingale Services have been absolutely wonderful with my grandma. The carers are kind, gentle, and always treat her with respect and warmth. She looks forward to their visits and we feel so reassured knowing she's in safe hands. Thank you for making such a difference in her life!
Evening carers are adequate but show gaps in training which I think should be there
- Mum was asked what her pessiaries were as the carer had never seen one
- Also mum complains of microwave meals still cold in the middle. I would expect
these to be checked before serving.
- Seems to be a lack of knowledge in basic cooking skills such as doing an
omlette.
Main issue in the evening is timing. Mum specifically identified a 6.00pm evening call time yet this sometimes becomes 5.00pm without explanation. When mum challenged this she was told 'you are the only one complaining' This is not what I want to hear and mum feels not valued.
Mum says that the carers gap for travelling has been cut resulting in carers leaving before the full hour is up.
Carers are respectful and friendly though.
Nightingale Services have been amazing with my mum. They have coped with her being in and out of hospital, even visiting her there when I have not been able to and gone out of their way to help our family care for Mum at all times. I could not be more grateful and highly recommend this service to anyone with need of elderly care.
Good service, pretty quick to respond when unexpected situations occurred. Mostly good, thoughtful carer matching to client. Understanding of situations out of anyone's control regarding clients. Great to be able to keep family member at home for so much longer than we thought!
Following a recent medical emergency, the carer went above and beyond until we could get there ourselves. More importantly, Mother-in-law is happy and on the whole, likes the carers and she can be stubborn at times!
Our care needs will only grow as she deteriorates and we hope Nightingales and the team can continue with us, we would hate to have to change providers.
We are a small family and required home care visits for a short period of time, to help our brother. The family live a distance away and sadly could not be there for him on a daily basis. Nightingale carers gave us peace of mind as we knew they were visiting at lunchtime to give our brother a hot meal and hot drinks and help with a few other requirements. The carers provided company and a friendly face which we appreciated. Thank you to the Manager and her team.
The service staff and management are all 5-star people.
Thanks for always caring.
We would highly recommend them if you are looking for a trustworthy care solution for a loved one.
The Nightingale team has been looking after our son for some time now and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. They have been excellent in keeping up with his changing complex needs and care requirements. Very supportive to the family and a wonderful group of carers, giving us much comfort and peace of mind.
They also provide her with companionship during their visits. Nightingale provide consistent carers so my Gran has been able to build a rapport with those visiting, she thoroughly enjoys their company. She was resistant to care initially but the care agency have worked hard to support her in an individualised way to make sure she is safe and her needs are met. I could not recommend the care agency more. They genuinely care about their clients, taking time to get to know Gran individually and always going the extra mile. It hasn’t always been easy for the agency with many challenges along the way but they have continued to provide a high quality of care and I feel reassured knowing my Gran is supported by this wonderful team. Thank you Nightingale.
It is my joy to see members of the team of carers go above and beyond their remit, they are without doubt some of the best professionals available and my cousin loves them all and looks forward to them coming four times a day.
I can only say that we have the utmost respect for the care team and thank them for their past and future assistance, helping my cousin live her life.
From the very first visit by the manager, we felt we were in safe hands. Notes were made and nothing was too much. Nani doesn't speak English, but it was never a problem. Nani has always been treated with dignity and respect and we are so grateful for that. We have never had a carer that we weren't happy with and communication between us and the carers and the managers etc has been exemplary. They have adapted to Nani's needs as her dementia progressed which has been such a help to us. We highly recommend Nightingale Services if you want your loved one to feel cared for, safe and dignified. What a fantastic team of ladies! Thank you!

For a week in May, we had 24-hour care to enable my husband, daughter and me to go away on holiday, to recoup and know Mum was well cared for.
Previously we had Mum have respite care in a care home but having live-in care enabled her to stay in her own home with her dog and lessen the confusion with her dementia. Impeccable service and totally trustworthy.
All the ladies have been amazing and extremely helpful with my mother-in-law. They have gone above and beyond. Helping with personal care on the days we requested. Help with household chores that she can not do by herself. They allow her independence all the time they have made life a lot easier for her and would highly recommend her to anyone needing domiciliary care.
Nightingale Services has provided excellent 24/7 care for my mother-in-law at very short notice. My father-in-law went into hospital unexpectedly following a fall. He was the main carer for his wife who has early signs of dementia and cannot be left alone. Nightingale Services stepped in and found sensitive and attentive carers to ensure my mother-in-law could stay at home. We are very happy with the service and would recommend Nightingale Services to anyone needing in-home care.
Everything good. No complaints. All requests to the manager were handled promptly. All carers exceptionally nice and seem to love their job. We are just starting to get back to normality after Christmas and New year celebrations.
I chose Nightingale Services after trying out other care services, obviously because I found Nightingale Services the better of the three. Since August last year, my carers (of Nightingales') have been fantastic with all the care they provided for me and still are. The fact that I have Parkinson's disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis and Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, my carers carried out all the needs I required each and every day of the week, (both morning and evening times), willingly and without hesitation.
I am a bit of a perfectionist and probably a hard taskmaster (client) too! They always turn up with a great smile and a lovely greeting no matter whether I have them in the morning or evening, I cannot praise them enough, amongst my family and friends. I would indeed recommend Nightingale Services. Well done to my carers and to the managers of Nightingale Services who have organised a fabulous team and I have no doubt I imagine other clients of Nightingale's would feel the same.
All of the staff are very helpful and kind. Nothing is too much trouble.
