My aunt has always been very positive about the service offered from Windrush. All the carers have spoken to her in a kind and friendly way. They have treated her with care and respect. She always looked forward to their visit. She is now a resident at a care home and misses the visits from many of the carers who she got to know.
We wish her well for the future.
Windrush continue to provide high quality bespoke care in a friendly and professional manner. They are reliable and flexible in their approach which is essential and much appreciated. Happy to recommend them to others.
Thank you for your kind review and recommendation - it is a pleasure to be able to support you.
Windrush has provided a first class service to my father who lives in Cheltenham. The carers are totally reliable and as well as providing whatever home help he needs they also provide cheerful companionship. He looks forward to their twice weekly visits and our family values knowing that he is well looked after. Very happy with the service.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that your father is enjoying the visits from our carers and that the support he's receiving is making a positive difference. Reliable care and genuine companionship are at the heart of what we do, and it's wonderful to know that both he...
Everything that you would want from a care service for your parent. Nothing was too much trouble for the carers, who also took time to have a bit of a chat at each visit. The management team were always quick to keep me informed of any significant events. The carers and management even took time to visit Dad when he was hospitalised. Exemplary.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback on our services. All our care team loved their visits with your Father, and he will missed greatly by all his team and management.
Extremely grateful for all the help and aid, the staff were always polite and all willing to go the extra mile.
Thank you Windrush team for all your help!
Thank you for your kind comments. We are so pleased we've been able to support you. Thank you also for mentioning the team, it is exactly what we try to do and it makes our work so worthwhile.
My parents have had help from Windrush Care for over 8 years. My mother in particular formed good relationships with two carers who helped her for a number of years. All the carers we experienced were kind and patient and the management team have always been very helpful in meeting our needs.
It has been a real privilege to support your parents who were one of my very first clients. Your mother is much loved by the team and we send her best wishes now that she has moved into a great local care home. Thank you for the trust that you and your sister have placed in us over that time.
Windrush have looked after my uncle really well for the last two years. He built up a really close relationship with his one primary carer and considered him a good friend. Thank you for all you have done.
Thank you for your kind review, this is great to hear. Our carers really enjoyed their visits to your uncle and it has been a pleasure to be able to help keep him safely at home for as long as we did.
Windrush has given my mother excellent care for more than two years. Their well-trained staff were friendly, patient and attentive and never let us down. Indeed, they went out of their way to give a first-class service. I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for your kind words. Our staff have enjoyed their visits to your mother, and we are delighted that you are pleased with the care we have given.
Our family's experience of Windrush has been totally fantastic. I was expecting a large amount of resistance from my parents about accepting care, but Windrush came in and in no time at all were welcomed by my parents who very much enjoyed the care provided. A wonderful company with wonderful people.
You are very kind. We are so pleased that we've been able to help.
I have been immensely impressed with the support provided for my mum and me by Windrush. Mum is not someone who wanted or needed care in a traditional sense and Windrush took the time to understand both our perspectives and worked with us to find a solution that worked for all. They have been incredibly understanding and flexible and I have always felt that they have my mum's best interests at heart. They have communicated with me every step of the way, been open and honest and their knowledge and experience have eased a very difficult time of transition. Simply put, I’m not sure where we’d be without them.
Thank you for your kind words which are much appreciated by the whole team. We are delighted to support your mum and you.
Windrush are the best, bar none, and like most people who arrange care for their family, I tried the rest, but ended up with the best, always on time, always clean, tidy, helpful, and chatty which my mum loves as they all know.
Windrush Care provided carers for my wife in her final months, living with cancer. Without exception, the carers were both highly professional and wonderfully supportive. They were tremendous with my wife, who loved their visits and they were very supportive to me - and they always looked for that little bit extra that they could do. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I could not recommend them more highly. They are superb.
Windrush Care were very quick to react to our request for care, finding carers at very short notice. The care delivered was very good, with a regular team covering the work. The carers themselves were lovely, looking after both my parents really well and ensuring that they received their meals and drinks exactly as they liked them. I would recommend them to others.
Thank you for your kind words. It has been a delight to look after and support your parents. We wish them all the very best in their move to be nearer to you.
My mother has been receiving companionship/helping services from Windrush for more than one year. The amount of contact she has been having increased in March as a result of the Covid19 lockdown. During the time since, my mother has had a constant caring team of three people, with one person providing the majority of the visits. The caring team have enhanced my mother's life during the lockdown by helping her to walk around the small square in front of her apartment block. Afterwards, the carer makes coffee and they chat. My mother is a fiercely independent woman who resisted the extra care initially but has come to enjoy the companionship of the carers involved. Windrush must be congratulated on not having a single case of Covid19 among its staff or its clients. The precautions employed by staff have clearly worked. Windrush is also currently working on a computerised client record system which will allow access to relatives. I look forward to it going live.
Thank you for your kind words - much appreciated. Our team thoroughly enjoy their visits. We hope to have the family access to the care visit notes up and running shortly.
I was not acquainted with Windrush Care myself, but my second cousin, who died this June spoke very highly of the services provided. She engaged Windrush Care to help with weekly personal care and trips out shopping and to the bank. She regarded the carers as her friends and they had a good chat during visits. My cousin remarked many times how brilliant the carers were and how helpful. One of the ladies attended the funeral, which says a lot about the attitude of staff to their clients. Many thanks to the staff of Windrush Care for looking after my cousin in her final years.
Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to support your cousin in recent years and she was much loved by all the staff here. She will be greatly missed.
Thank you Windrush.
Thank you for your kind review. It has been a great privilege to support you and your wife over this difficult time and we are so glad you chose us to work with you.
Very importantly, the team formed a close personal relationship with my Mother, they were sensitive to her needs and her style of operating.
She trusted and liked the team who became friends too.
It made the whole experience dignified, but also we all had a lot of fun and laughter too.
Windrush couldn't have been more helpful in fitting into her life and helping at all times of night and day, but also putting themselves out for her with extra trips shopping etc.
For my sister and I, we would/could trust Windrush to be there when we were both alway, knowing she would be properly looked after and that Windrush would be responsive and responsible in a crisis, this provided us with real peace of mind and made the last few weeks much easier to cope with. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind review. It was a great privilege to look after your mother and you are right, there was a real bond between her and the care team.
Windrush Care has provided excellent support to my elderly father, which has enabled him to live as independently as possible. They have been able to adapt and provide for his needs as they have developed over the last year as well as providing support at very short notice as and when required. I have no hesitation in recommending Windrush Care.
Many thanks for your kind review. We are delighted to have looked after your father.
The carers were all extremely good, caring and helpful.
Thank you for your kind review. We were delighted to support you coming home from hospital and with such a successful outcome.
What a welcome surprise to have such a great friendly and helpful care system. Always happy to help never rushed or felt as if we were any trouble. Thank you, thank you. 5* treatment provided.
Thank you for your kind comments. It has been a privilege to be able to provide the care and support that was needed.

I have seen from first-hand experience looking after my father what a complex and difficult process it can be to find excellent private care. Our aim is to make it as simple as possible for those families that want to make their own choices for care at home and provide the real alternative to residential care that is right for so many people.
We know the importance of having the right care and the right carers - and the huge difference this can make to people’s lives, both those cared for and their families.
