All the Friendly Homecare team live up to their name in their dedicated care for my 94 year old aunt. They are very reliable and caring, and go the extra mile as necessary (including accompanying my aunt on regular hospital check ups).

Friendly Homecare have been brilliant and I can't recommend them highly enough. My father (70) has a range of disabilities that severely limit his mobility and independence and Shiva and the Friendly Homecare team have shown the utmost care and professionalism in providing care to make his life easier and more liveable. Friendly Homecare have been seeing my father for over a year now and they have always been proactive, thoughtful and kind, and have taken the time to get to know my Dad and to understand his complex needs. My father has been through a series of other care arrangements prior to Friendly Homecare but none have come close to the care he has received over the past year. I am so grateful for the service they have provided for him and I know that he is too, as he has told me many times. I would like to thank the entire Friendly Homecare team for all the hard work that they do: it makes such a difference.

Almost two years ago, I helped my friend to arrange her care with Friendly Homecare. They had supported another elderly couple I know and so I knew they were trustworthy and reliable.

Over the time they have been supporting my friend, her needs have increased. In the beginning she had only needed help during the day, but after a fall, she has been having help at night also to keep her safe.

She finds it difficult so the team keep on top of everything for her including her medication, attending appointments and keeping in touch with the GP and others. Recently, they have been very good in helping my friend to adjust to new equipment that was provided by the Occupational Therapy team. She was very against it at first, but the manager involved everyone and she eventually realised the benefits. All her carers are regular and some have been with her from the beginning so they understand her very well.

We are very grateful to the team at Friendly Homecare.

I cannot praise this company enough, when they first started to care for my friend she was with their help, able to maintain her independence, however as time went on she became quite frail and poorly. One of the important things they offer is that she had the same carers throughout.

Sadly after a spell in hospital she was no longer able to go upstairs to her bedroom, and spent 24hrs downstairs in a hospital bed. It was here that with the help of the carers she had End of life care and died with dignity with a carer and manager by her side .

I have no hesitation in recommending Friendly Homecare as an exceptional care agency. The Manager and his incredible team of expert and kind carers have made a huge difference to my parents' lives. We first used them when my mother returned from a hospital visit and needed more support, and now they help her and my father to live an independent life while being supported and staying safe. For me, there is huge peace of mind, knowing that expert healthcare professionals are involved and have an oversight of all the issues including medication. The communication between the manager and myself is exceptional - he keeps my informed and passes on any concerns the carers have. And my brothers and I all have access to the app so we can see how things are going. The regular rota of carers means there is continuity and they are all so professional and expert but also very caring and thoughtful. I am so happy we were lucky enough to find Friendly Homecare.

Overall Experience

I struggled with some daily activities for a time and so my son researched and found Friendly Homecare to help me at home a few times a week. The carers have been coming to me now for five months and I have to say it has been hugely beneficial having them. They are always punctual, polite and very helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that I am happy and comfortable. I've had carers in the past so I can see the difference that it makes having Friendly Homecare's support. The manager keeps on top of everything and also helps me. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Overall Experience

The carers from Friendly Homecare helped me to stay independent in my own home. I am very happy with the care they provide. I have regular carers who know me well and understand my routine. They are all very kind and try their best to make life easy for me. When I have needed extra help due to a fall the manager was quick to set this up for me. He visits me regularly. I can rely on the management team to consult with my family and GP. They have helped to alert my GP about my health at least twice when I have had to visit the hospital for checks they always accompany me. At 95 years old it can all be a bit stressful for me. I highly recommend Friendly Homecare.

The team at Friendly Homecare give professional, caring, reliable support to my Uncle who lives independently from his family. As a family, we all have direct contact with his carer through a group chat. I can contact his carer directly at weekends or at a time which is convenient if I have any concerns regarding my Uncle. The quality of care received from friendly homecare delivers very good value for money.

Overall Experience

Friendly Homecare has been supporting my mother for about 6 months now. We have tried various different care agencies and private carers in the past and the experience with Friendly Homecare has been far and above the best one so far. The manager is empathetic and kind and calmly and efficiently found an excellent person for the job. My mother was immediately impressed with her professionalism and we all feel she is in safe hands. Communication is good and we feel that Friendly Homecare does really care.

Overall Experience
When my sisters and I decided we needed some extra help caring for my elderly father, we chose Friendly Homecare, mainly because they were local. We're very glad we did. My father was 90 and had Alzheimer's but was still living at home and wanted to continue doing so. In a short time, the team understood not only my father's needs but also his character and developed a comprehensive and appropriate care plan.

They were always punctual and efficient and communicating with them was easy we found the app with reports of their visits particularly helpful. Most importantly they were genuinely caring and often went beyond what we had agreed to ensure that my father was well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I am impressed by the caring attitude of each staff member, and by their exceptional competence and abilities. Many of them seem to be able to help in quite unexpected ways, one excelling in plumbing and other maintenance tasks, most able to help with telephone communications with outside bodies, and all going out of their way to be generally helpful.
The organisation is remarkably flexible, readily accommodating timetable changes. The manager takes a personal interest in the needs of the client and makes suggestions when he thinks that anything should be changed.

It is reassuring to know that my mother is looked after so well.

Friendly Homecare is an excellent provider of top-quality care. We found them patient, compassionate and very understanding of our mother's needs and the tricky situation in that she didn't feel she needed help, whilst we knew she did! The manager was both professional and helpful and very experienced in the care field. He expertly guided us through everything we needed to think about and we felt in safe hands. He totally understood our and our mother's needs and provided us with a lovely, experienced carer who was able to befriend and help our mother. We are most grateful and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other families.

We have used Friendly Homecare for a number of years and we have always been very happy with the service provided.
My elderly mother was at home with us until the end and we were able to do this as Friendly Homecare provided us with night cover. They sat with my mother all night to ensure that she was comfortable.
The carers were kind and compassionate and they called me as I live locally if they had any concerns. The carer called me the night my 97-year-old mother passed away and I was able to be with her, holding her hand which meant so much to us.
We have used a number of home care providers in the past and Friendly Homecare is by far the best.
I cannot recommend the whole team at Friendly Homecare enough.
I would give six stars if I could

We have been using a home care provider for over six years.
The carer that supports my brother has many qualities that make him exceptional at his job.
He makes my brother feel respected, valued and safe. He is always willing to go the extra mile to support my brother.
We, as a family, feel reassured that our brother is in good hands. The carer has a great understanding of my brother's needs and has taken his time to build a working relationship but also a long term friendship.

I am very honoured and grateful that my brother's carer is part of his life, as my brother would be lost without him.

I’ve been working in the social care sector for over 20 years. My personal and work experiences have inspired my passion for encouraging and supporting elderly & vulnerable individuals to maintain their independence within their own homes or to regain it, following a deterioration in abilities, perhaps owing to illness or other reasons.

I am experienced in supporting & planning support for individuals with various health conditions and I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes for service users. Through person-centred care planning, the team and I are able to promote individuals’ capabilities, choices, dignity and self-esteem, as a means of stimulating better physical and emotional well-being.

I am also quite ardent about staff development, in order to deliver an efficient, high quality and personalised care service with a focus on interaction and involvement.

Natasha has been working within the domiciliary care sector for over 20 years as well, in various roles, starting out as a care support worker.
