The family was put quickly at ease from the time that we made the first call to the end of the care. Nursing Direct provided us with excellent carers on a rota that allowed my father to be comfortable and supported in his final days.

Meet the Team (15)
I’ve led Nursing Direct Healthcare Limited as Director of Nursing since 2016. I oversee the clinical strategy for the service and guide the teams who deliver complex care at home. My background covers ITU-level care, neurological conditions, spinal and brain injury, palliative and end-of-life support, and long-term condition management. I focus on stable clinical practice, safe escalation routes and clear communication with families.
I also manage services for clients with mental-health needs, eating disorders, complex trauma, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and dual diagnosis. I work across live-in care, respite and structured visiting care, making sure each package is clinically appropriate and aligned with wider health goals.
I lead on clinical governance, incident review, workforce training and competency development. I set the standards for assessment, planning, implementation and review, and I work closely with GPs, case managers and community teams to coordinate care. My priority is to keep care safe, consistent and measurable, with clear outcomes for the people we support.
I work as the Clinical Nurse Manager at Nursing Direct Healthcare Limited. I lead the clinical oversight of every package in the service and guide the training and supervision of our clinical leads. I currently manage five clinical leads and two clinical supports. I keep their case management compliant, up to date and reviewed on a regular cycle so you have a safe and well-run service.
I handle escalated concerns, complaints and safeguarding, and I focus on fast, accurate decision-making to keep clients and staff safe. I track clinical risks, follow up on actions and stay close to each case so problems are addressed early.
I also run our Training Academy. This programme builds practical skills, strengthens clinical confidence and raises the standard of care delivered in the home. My aim is to keep the service clinically strong, consistent and forward-looking.

Clinical Lead Nurse
I’ve worked in healthcare for 11 years. I joined Nursing Direct Healthcare Limited in May 2020 as a Homecare Consultant and moved into the Homecare Manager role in September 2021. I now lead a team of five Homecare Consultants and support them with the day-to-day management of complex and challenging home-care packages.
I stay close to each case, guide decisions, and keep communication clear between families, staff and other professionals. I focus on person-centred practice and help my team build care plans that support independence and fit the needs of each service user.
My aim is to keep packages stable, responsive and well organised so your care runs smoothly, and you have a team you can rely on.
Specialist Homecare Manager
I started work as the Homecare Manager at Nursing Direct Healthcare Limited. I lead a team of six care consultants who co-ordinate complex care packages for adults, adolescents and children. My work covers clinical and social-care needs, including ASD, learning disabilities and mental-health support. I match staff skills to each package so care is consistent and tailored to the person.
I’ve worked in complex homecare services since 2012. I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services, and I use this background to guide day-to-day practice and support my team’s development.
I track the progress of each package, review risks and follow up on actions to keep care running smoothly. I focus on clear communication with families and professionals, so outcomes stay positive, and problems are dealt with quickly. My aim is to give you a service that is organised, responsive and centred on the person receiving care.
I work as the Operations Manager at Nursing Direct Healthcare Limited. I oversee the back-office operations that keep the service running smoothly. My role covers quality assurance, process improvement and the day-to-day systems that support our clinical and home-care teams.
I manage our internal programmes, track performance and keep tasks on schedule so the business functions well from a contractual and operational perspective. I review processes regularly and make changes when something needs tightening or simplifying.
I focus on building strong client relationships and keeping communication open and direct. I also monitor client compliance with our code of conduct and address issues early. My aim is to keep operations clear, consistent and supportive of the care delivered in the home.
