Home Instead have cared for my mother for over 5 years and helped with end-of-life care before my dad passed away. We have had consistent carers who have got to know the whole of our family and have cared for my mum adapting as her needs changed. Nothing was too much trouble, they were punctual, efficient,
kind and compassionate and treated both my parents with great respect. All of the staff including carers and office staff were involved in organising my mum's care and communication was excellent at all times.
We are only sorry that we could not continue as my mother's mobility deteriorated significantly and we were unable to afford 24/7 care.
Over the years Mum's carers have become like a family celebrating birthdays and special occasions and I always joked that Mum loved them more than me! They brightened her at each and every contact and cared for my mum in a way that I could not replicate.
Thank you so much for being there not only for my mum and dad but all our family.

I cannot commend too highly the wonderful service provided by Home Instead for people while still enjoying life in their own homes. I was totally impressed by the standards set by Home Instead's professional carers in carrying out their tasks in the most friendly and highly competent manner. My needs
were met at all times during the calls they made. They showed a willingness to help in every way possible often asking if there was anything more they could do before leaving.

I found the team at Hockley Heath to be very Professional and helpful and the carers were friendly and efficient. We were always kept well informed and having access to the app to let me know how the carer's visits went, was very useful. I have no hesitations in recommending this company.

After a fall and hospital admission in February 2024, we finally had to move my Mother into a residential nursing home. For over 4 years Home instead enabled my Mother to be kept at home even with her deteriorating health and mobility issues. Everyone from the staff in the office to the individual care
providers has all been excellent and gone beyond their duty to make my Mother's life generally happy. Whenever there was a problem it was dealt with by the team immediately to resolve any issues professionally. I would recommend Home Instead without reservation.

My mother finally had to move into a residential nursing home in February 2024. However, until this point, Home Instead has enabled my mother to lead an independent life in her own home since May 2020.
Everyone from the staff in the office to the individual care providers have provided an excellent
level of care to my mother's physical and mental needs.
I would like to give a special thank you to one of the staff members in the office, and two carer professionals in particular.

Home Instead care professionals are the gold standard of carers. I have used other care providers before, and the difference is like night and day. Home Instead training really shows. These care professionals use common sense, ensure safeguarding, clock in and clock out, are meticulous about administering
medication, are willing to stay with my mum if she is vulnerable or struggling to stand or get to bed. I find it hard to trust as I have been let down a lot, but everyone from the office staff to the community care professionals are brilliant. Two ladies really stand out. They really care and are just wonderful with my mum in the Winter of her life.

It was difficult for Mum to accept that she needed care, however, Home Instead made the transition easy for Mum. The care professionals were always supportive and treated Mum with great care as if she was one of their own family members. The admin/contact team were always available and offered advice
and support throughout. I would strongly recommend Home Instead. The app was also really useful to keep track of Mum's activities as with her dementia she was not sure where she had been or what she had done!

As a family we decided that we needed help to manage our elderly Mothers situation at home as she suffers from Dementia.
We chose Home Instead and from our very first meeting with staff, we were happy and confident that we had made the right choice of provider.
She thoroughly explained how the service
works and the full range of services that the organisation can provide for my mother.
She answered every question we asked in an honest and detailed way and we felt reassured that my mother will be getting the best level of service possible.
She took time to understand my mother's background and her current medical situation and provided useful insights and advice.
The lady who came weekly to visit my mother really went out of her way to comfort my mother and listen to her and involve her in interesting conversation.
I would often hear them both laughing and having a little sing song and my Mother really enjoyed the visits and benefitted greatly from the experience.

I have used the services of Home Instead for almost 2 years to help me look after my wife, who has Alzheimer's as we do not have family living locally. I have found the help provided by Home Instead to be invaluable, especially with the carers having knowledge and experience in dealing with dementia
patients. I have found the carers conscientious and very helpful.

Since 2016 my mother has been receiving exceptional care from Home Instead. Throughout Covid they kept her and my father safe. When my father passed away Home Instead not only cared for and supported Mother, they also supported us as a family too. To provide such excellent and consistent service for
so many years is an achievement for any company but for a care company, who have to deal with ever changing situations and sometimes daily, it is truly remarkable and testament to the amazing team and carers who always go above and beyond. We can't recommend them enough. Thank you Home Instead.

Home Instead set up a care package for my husband quickly and efficiently to my extreme relief at the time. The care received from the carers (all of them without exception) was friendly, kind and professional. My husband is now much improved and able to undertake his personal care without assistance
but without those first few weeks I would have been exhausted and in despair. If ever the need arises for either of us to be in need of care we would have no hesitation in getting in touch.

The ladies who looked after me were unbelievably professional, caring, kind and just about as helpful as anyone could be. Nothing was too much trouble, I couldn’t have gotten through my first weeks at home after my operation without their help.

This was the first time I have had to arrange care, and I have to say, I was helped through the process from start to finish. The team provided guidance and did not push any services that I did not need. The ladies that visited on a daily basis were kind and considerate to my mother initially, and subsequently,
my father after Mom went into care.
I cannot fault the service provided and would definitely recommend this company for support in the home environment.

My mother had cancer and as this progressed she started to need more help with bathing and getting dressed and agreed to have some help in her home. The process for obtaining that help was simple and the woman who arranged it was kind and friendly and spoke to my mother to get her views and what was
needed. The carers were introduced to her before they started and she had the same 2 carers - this was really important to her. They both quickly established a great rapport with her and she quickly started to look forward to them coming. Both were incredibly kind and patient and took the time to ensure she was getting what she needed and was not tired out. They went the extra mile staying longer with her when she became unwell one day and making sure she was OK before they left her with a family member. It gave my sister and I confidence that she was well and safe on the occasions when we were not there. They were caring, professional and kind and took the time to attend her funeral too.

Home Instead have looked after my mum since last April. After a series of falls, a diagnosis of congestive heart failure and general decline, we approached Home Instead for their support. In some very difficult situations, every caregiver has shown compassion, professionalism, patience and overwhelming
care and understanding. They have all been invaluable in assisting mum to continue to live in her own home and their support to myself has been much appreciated. An excellent care provider in every respect. Thank you all.
