The cost of Home Care will vary depending on the type of care you need, how often you need it, and where you live. We offer everything from 30 minute visits to 24 hour Live-in Care. If you have more complex needs, you may need two Home Carers per visit, so we can provide a cost for this too.


Live-in Care is generally considered to be a cost effective alternative to living in a care home, whilst still providing a level of independence. Everyone’s needs are different so the costs of Live-in Care can vary depending on the level of care required. Unlike other Home Care options, the costs of our Live-in Care remains the same wherever you live across the South of England.


We adapt our Home Care services to suit your specific requirements. Our Home Care costs include a personalised care plan, ensuring your care suits your needs, wishes and budget.

Alina Homecare have been such a help for all the family.
We now have the reassurance that someone is checking in on Dad each morning and giving us feedback using the app, so we know if he needs anything from us.
Not only have they been performing the key task of changing a stoma bag, but they also
let us know how Dad is feeling and tidy up as well.

Alina Homecare only looked after my father for a short time following a hospital admission. They were all amazing and treated Dad with genuine kindness and dignity. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again in the future. All carers were outstanding and went above and beyond and also supported

As a frail and elderly couple, we registered with Alina in 2023 in case of need in the future. How glad we did because an emergency arose in January 2024 when I, the official carer for my husband, fell and fractured my leg needing a two hour operation and subsequent complete immobility for two weeks.
Within a day or so Alina came to our rescue and provided personal care for me plus domestic help with general household chores. During the past six weeks of my recovery, we have had excellent service from Alina in the form of two regular carers who always arrived with a smile and cheery greeting, attended to their tasks with enthusiasm and efficiency and made our life bearable during this rather traumatic time for us. They arrived on time, adapted quickly to our needs and were flexible doing the tasks required of them. Some of the meals prepared for us were delicious. We hope we shall not need help for a while, but if we do, we will have no hesitation in turning to Alina for help again.

Mum's carers are all amazing girls.
Caring, empathetic, attentive and sympathetic only explain a small part of the love and attention they provide Mum with, in turn making Mum feel better about herself and he needs and is also able to have a laugh with her carers.
They really cheer her up.

I found my carer was open to do what I needed from driving me to my gym to mopping floors. When asked she gave me space to read, listen to stories.

My mother has had daily support over a long period of time during which she developed dementia.
Alina Homecare provided carers who were consistently kind, considerate, empathetic and professional. They responded to the changes needed to reflect Mum’s state of mind and health.
They administered medication
that had been prescribed. The system linked to the app allowed me to have up-to-date information on when visits were happening and how my mum was feeling.
The billing was clearly detailed and accurate.
I would be happy to recommend them to others.

Although Alina Homecare only looked after Mum for a brief period, they were all amazing and treated Mum with genuine kindness and dignity.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again in the future should the need arise. Both carers were outstanding and went above and beyond in what was a difficult

Alina Homecare staff were very caring towards my mother. She has become very fond of them.

From the beginning of my care, I have always been delighted with my care. All of the carers are very well trained and I enjoyed seeing them every visit, I am treated with care and dignity and feel clean and tidy for the day ahead. If time permits, they will also do little tasks for me which they are

My mother has been using Alina for a number of years and the office team and personal carers have been excellent, friendly and professional help all round.
The weekly schedules are sent without fail and problems are dealt with efficiently.

I started using Alina Homecare mid-January. I needed help at short notice for my father and they responded very quickly. Carers were put in place within 24 hours and so far the experience has been very positive. All carers have been very friendly and offered useful advice. One even offered to make me
a cup of tea! Great service.

Alina carers have been helping to care for my mother for several months. They usually arrive on time and despite their many care call commitments and sometimes rushing, they are kind, respectful, patient and usually knowledgeable. Some carers are more experienced than others and some take more care
when handling my elderly and very frail mother. Alina have been very attentive to changes when required and helping out where other agencies have failed often at the last minute for which I am very grateful. They have also provided the same team of carers with whom my mother is familiar thus giving us consistency. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others looking for care of their loved ones.

Found all staff to be helpful, proficient, reliable, and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The home care providers were punctual, cheerful, and proactive. The administration team provided a first-class flow of information regarding my weekly schedule and answered all my enquiries promptly.

I think they are a very good company and do a good job. There are some things to work on, for example, some of the carers don't do the tasks as set out in the care plan. I think the staff could be trained better with disability awareness. Some staff are excellent and very experienced but the newer ones,
not so. I think some of the staff are too young and inexperienced to be supporting me. The carers complete the tasks I ask them to do mostly but sometimes I feel they seem to be in a hurry especially in the evenings.

We have been using Alina Homecare for over a year for my elderly parents. They now have carers in daily. We have found Alina, reliable, flexible, and understanding. There are particular carers within the team that have gone above and beyond to ensure that my mother (who has dementia) is happy and settled.
They truly care and we cannot thank them enough for the care they have given our parents. They will highlight any issues as soon as possible and record their daily visits on an app so we can see what has happened on that day and the care they have provided. The Manager is easy to get on with, caring and wants the best. We have built up a good relationship with her over the months and she has listened to our requests and helped as soon as possible.

Both my mother and I are very pleased with the prompt and efficient care/domestic help arranged after mum suffered a fall at Christmas. Although only required for a short time, this was set up immediately after I made a call from Spain to the Harpenden branch. This took a lot of worry away from me,
being so far away and I was kept informed of mum's progress.
I can't thank the team enough and will certainly be back in touch if the need arises.
