I was in a care home from April 2018 until February 2022. I moved into a flat as I wanted to be more independent but required a live-in carer. A friend recommended Sante Care. During the past two years the service Sante Care has provided has been excellent. They always make sure that the client is satisfied with the service they are providing. They also ensure that their staff are happy with their placement. The communication from Sante Care is excellent, in my opinion, this is very important. My carers have always shown me respect, and have always been extremely attentive to my needs. Family and friends have always remarked how pleasant the carers have always been. The manager is always available if needed and always ensures that the carers are all always fully trained.

Sante Care was recommended to my son, who is a tetraplegic, by a care worker in the home where he was staying whilst waiting to go into Independent Living. This was in 2016 and the same, wonderful carer has been his residential assistant for nearly 7 years. Sante Care are absolutely genius at finding the right carer for the right client. They take a long time to find the most suitable match, they certainly succeeded with us. I bless the day that my son's carer came into our lives. He is totally trustworthy, reliable, polite, honest and intelligent. We rarely have problems with cover but when the unexpected does occur Sante Care are immediately on the ball in providing good, reliable and highly professional replacement carers. I trust them completely and am delighted with their service. The manager is very approachable and sympathetic to our needs.

The overall standard of care is excellent. The manager is very understanding and easy to talk to and all the carers provided have been extremely kind and thoughtful. We were particularly grateful that at the beginning they were able to provide someone to help at very short notice.

I have been a client of Sante for 3 and 1/2 years (since January 2017). The quality of care provided by the agency has been nothing short of impeccable since the outset. Not only are the care assistants extremely well trained, but they are also professional and responsible and of a friendly disposition. Another noteworthy aspect of the agency is that they respond rapidly and efficiently to incidents when they occur. Sante takes their duty of care very seriously and this has been very reassuring to my family, who feel they can trust completely in the agency. I am extremely happy with the service provided by Sante and would not consider changing or even looking at other agencies now.

Being a small company it can give personal and individual care, and the lady who runs it will go out of her way to meet your needs.

And you get all this for a very good price, so it's a win-win situation.

I am delighted with the 24-hour care Sante Care at Home have provided for my 90-year-old mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's and cannot recommend them highly enough.
Her two Polish carers have been excellent caring, compassionate and trustworthy, not only attending to her care needs but also providing companionship and stimulation.
They have made an enormously positive impact on her life and have given myself and the
family the reassurance that she is being given first-class care and supervision 24 hours a day. The management at Sante Care at Home are constantly supervising the carers and any issues or concerns the family have, are resolved quickly and efficiently.

We have had no problems and as I said before, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Sante Care at Home have been providing 24-hour care for my mother since 2017 when she was recovering from a broken hip. They have worked with my mother and her family to support her in increasing her mobility and ensuring she can remain living at home. They have always tried to match carers with my mother and keep us informed when there are going to be changes.

On the whole, my carers have all been great, there have been a couple of bad ones but they have sorted it straight away, they both are very caring people.

In very difficult circumstances, Sante's carers do their very best for my mother in terms of caring for her. On the whole they have all been kind, compassionate, considerate, caring and very patient. Most have gone the 'extra mile' to make my mother's life as easy as possible. I cannot fault their overall attitude to care and comfort - my only concern is communication - language is a problem at times.

Sante Care at Home were recommended to me when it became unsafe for my mother to live alone.
They offer an excellent service and go out of their way to get things right, regularly reviewing her care plan as her needs change. We have had a few emergencies and it has been very reassuring to know that in any eventuality the agency are immediately on hand to resolve any problems, whilst maintaining a seamless and professional service.
Their manner is friendly and approachable, mums needs are respected and any suggestions noted and implemented.
The live-in carer is discreet, yet offers support when needed, giving the whole family peace of mind.

I would be happy to recommend Sante Care at Home to anyone who wants an agency they can trust.

Ann Sayers Job Title: Director/Registered Manager Joined: 2015
Ann Sayers

Hello, my name is Ann Sayers. I am the joint owner and Company Director (with Gosia Dennis) of Sante Care at Home and I am also the Registered Manager for both Surrey and Devon locations.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse at the Royal London Hospital in 1978 and over 28 years have been spent specialising in the care of older people. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies and throughout my career as matron/manager I have consistently achieved ‘Excellent’ and ‘Fully Compliant’ inspection reports from the Care Quality Commission. I am committed to promoting the provision and maintenance of the highest standard of nursing and personal care to older people, ensuring their needs, wishes and aspirations are delivered with the utmost dignity and respect.

Gosia and I created Sante Care at Home in 2015 and with the support of our wonderful staff we have built a successful care agency with the ethos of caring and supporting both our clients and our staff, this I find is the most rewarding and enjoyable part of my job.

When I am not working I enjoy walking my dog, cooking and entertaining friends and family. My 4 daughters and 4 granddaughters are very important to me and, whilst some now live far away I like to visit them as often as possible.

Gosia Dennis Job Title: Director/Recruitment Manager Joined: 2015
Gosia Dennis

My name is Gosia Dennis and I am the joint owner and Company Director (with Ann Sayers) of Sante Care At Home. I grew up in Poland, visiting family in England since the age of 8, and spent a year in England when I was 14. I returned to London when I was 19 to study business and worked as a care assistant to support myself. I enjoyed this work so much that I decided to become a Registered Nurse, qualifying in 2002 from the University of Surrey in Guildford, and working mostly in nursing homes and private hospitals. During this time I met Ann Sayers who was the Registered Manager of a care home. I also set up and managed a small niche recruitment agency, placing nurses and care workers from Europe into care homes. I have developed comprehensive systems for identifying the most suitable care professionals from within both the UK and Europe.

In 2014 I approached Ann about setting up Sante Care At Home with the vision of creating a Live-in Care Agency that really made a difference to both clients and care workers. We made the vision a reality in 2015 and I am so proud of what we all have achieved – an agency with the highest levels of care for our clients and comprehensive support to our staff. We listen to clients’ needs and match the best candidates to their specific requirements. In 2018 I moved with my family to Devon and so established a branch in Tavistock.

Whenever I can I enjoy time with my family and friends, walking, nature and travel.

I’ve lived in the Tavistock area of Devon since 2007 and have 3 children. I love my role as Administrator for Sante Care At Home, doing my best to ensure that the office runs smoothly.

I started my career as a Logistics Officer in the Royal Navy, working both ashore in the UK and at sea. I took a career break to care for my family and also set up a smallholding selling free-range produce. Since then I’ve worked for a variety of local organisations which has been interesting and rewarding. My main roles at Sante Care are with recruitment, payroll and marketing although I’m happy to tackle anything that needs to be done! I really enjoy supporting our carers during the recruitment process and beyond.

My hobbies are walking on Dartmoor with my dog, yoga and crochet.
