Absolute have been wonderful with my father. They stepped in at short notice as his Alzheimer's was accelerating and we couldn't have been happier with the care he received. All the carers were genuinely caring and professional, friendly faces for Dad to look forward to chatting to. Very good communication from Fiona and Jenette too at the end of the 'phone. Following a broken pelvis, he now receives daily personal care together with household help for my mother.
We are now having to transition to a new care package due to my mother being hospitalised.

My mother has had the care for 3 1/2 years. The whole team are exceptional and demonstrate professionalism, compassion and a genuine commitment in supporting mum and the wider family. From an early age, my vocation was to be a nurse, so after completing my training, my career took me into the community working as a district nurse. I joined the Heart of Kent Hospice when it opened in 1991, and my first role there was to set up a range of day care services.
For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working as a Macmillan nurse caring for people at home. During this time, I have become aware of some gaps in service provision, particularly for clients at the end of life. I now use my expertise and experience to create a tailor-made service that encompasses their care needs and support for their families.
Sue Broughton is the Manager at Absolute Home Care Kent, leading the team with compassion and a strong focus on high-quality, person-centred care.
