Avante Care & Support offer assistance with daily tasks enabling their clients to remain as independent lives as possible.
A team of professionally trained staff are able to meet a range of care requirements including 30 minute visits or live in, round the clock care. Care workers can help clients who are recovering from long or short term illness or those who need full time care for mobility or other health problems.
Care can be funded by local social services or be paid for privately.

Jenny from the Avante Field Care Team has been visiting my mother once a week for about 6 months. She has made a huge difference to my mother who at 87 has arthritis and struggles with mobility. My Mum also enjoy's meeting Jenny's two assistance dogs when they are able to visit.
Jenny takes my mother
out shopping or on day trips and enables her to keep more independence. We've also noticed a marked difference in her confidence levels. Pauline also provides practical support to Mum in caring at home for my 95 year old father who has dementia.
Pauline from the Avante head office checks in regularly with us to assess Mum's ongoing needs. We are looking to use further services from Avante in the future.
My sister and I are hugely grateful to the Avante Team for their help and would recommend them to other families in similar circumstances to ours.

After a bad experience with two previous care companies, I have now been with Avante Care and Support for six years, and I am extremely happy with the service and care I receive. The carers are very friendly, kind, and caring. They always turn up on time and complete everything that needs to be done.
Most carers wear PPE, which I prefer as it gives me extra peace of mind. Personal care is always provided with full respect for my privacy and dignity. Housework is completed to a high standard, and my meals are always prepared and presented nicely.
The office and field care staff are OUTSTANDING. They are all very knowledgeable and confident when managing my care and medication, and they are always extremely helpful. If I ever have a problem, it is sorted out straight away. They also keep me fully updated with any changes to carers who may be coming in.
I am very happy with the care and support I receive.

I am extremely happy with the service and care I receive from Avante Care & Support, the carers attend to my younger brother 7 days a week at his home address. They are very good communicators and provide support beyond their job.

A good experience. The carers are pleasant, obliging and helpful. I walk with a stick, so I am not totally dependent. The carers and office staff will fit in with my arrangement and take me to appointments and shopping when needed.

Nice carers - although the older age group are more aware to the 90+ range.
Would recommend Avante.

Advante has cared for my husband since June 2023. He is non-verbal and permanently in bed. The carers are kind, caring and treat him with respect. They chat to him all the time they are attending to him. They always include me in their conversations. I've met quite a few of them over the months. I'm
pleased to welcome them all into my home. If I have a problem I'm able to talk to them about it. I class them as friends.

With a few bad experiences with a few agency carers it's been a good experience. It takes time for a carer and service user to get into each other's way of doing things and to know and trust one another. Care is/can be very personal, trust takes time to build. My carer's have become trusted carers,
reliable, very competent & trustworthy. I think caring should be classified as a profession, they will always be needed.

My mother has been looked after extremely well since receiving care and support from Avante. She is very fond and trusting of her regular carer, and looks forward to the daily visits. Since settling on a regular time, it has provided greater stability.
I am very grateful for the service provided
by those in the office and very much appreciate receiving the weekly care rota. They have also been extremely helpful and supportive when contacting the district nurses.

99% of the time I have experienced at least twice a day an excellent visit from the carer. Each one arrives in a very cheerful way. The care I receive is faultless. 1% of the time the care has been inadequate by not washing all parts of my body. I very much appreciate receiving the care rota every week.

The service I get from Avante is very good. Sometimes carers are a bit late getting here but I don't think enough time is given for them to travel between visits. When they are here they do whatever is required. Some are more thorough than others but I am happy with their work. Very cheerful ladies
and always have time for a chat. I wish the fees were less!

In most cases I have found the carers to be very good or excellent - always friendly and polite.
However, I do feel that the pay they get is most inadequate for the work they do and the often unsocial hours they work. I would be happy to pay more for such a service.
