Our care worker is always very willing, careful, cooperative, cheerful and clever at solving problems, and a good timekeeper. We have had some problems opening Blue Bird emails but otherwise no complaints.

I had been so worried about employing carers to make her life easier but I have to say that Bluebird could not have been more helpful, understanding and reassuring. I live far from Mum and the stress and worry for us both when she had problems was terrible. I now feel so much better knowing that Mum has familiar, trusted people visiting. And so does Mum. With her dementia, she has a very poor memory now plus she suffers from low mood and anxiety that often goes along with dementia, but I've noticed a positive difference since the Bluebird carers have been visiting. And if I ever have any questions or extra little things that mum needs, the whole team are always so responsive and practical.
Mum would never have managed without Bluebird, and neither would I.

Very happy with Bluebird. Office staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Communication is very good. New invoicing format is much more helpful, thank you. Carers are nearly always kind, careful, and professional. They take pains to get to know the situation and are empathetic. They leave the place clean and tidy. In the very few cases when these things were not present, it has been simple to arrange a change of personnel. You are all lifesavers.

The carer assigned to Mum is what I would call a true carer. She is gentle, kind and always cheerful, approachable and friendly. Her experience shines through and Mum very much looks forward to her visits. I would also add that she helps to alleviate the stress of caring for an elderly relative.

Bluebird Care provide twice daily care to my sister who has Dementia. The staff are kind and caring and put my sister at ease, and have gone above and beyond at points where my sister has been poorly. The management at Bluebird Care listen to and action any concerns and are very flexible in how the care is delivered.

I'm so glad we discovered Bluebird Care. I was nervous about hiring someone to keep my elderly mother company to give me a break from caring, but from the first phone call on, it was like stepping into a luxury limousine. In a few days, a supervisor came to interview my mother and asked about what she wanted and what her interests were. I could tell she had listened carefully, for the carer who was introduced to us was a really good fit, and we both liked her straight away. She's very conscientious about all the protocols and always super-punctual, but for my mum, it's like having a guest round, and I can see they get on well. Any emails I send to the administration are always answered very fast, too. It's made a big difference, and we are very happy.

Bluebird has been taking good care of my aged father. The carers have been uniformly polite, sensitive and helpful, easing the challenges of old age. The care team have been especially effective during the Covid epidemic.

After a fall and subsequent surgery, I needed home help to assist me when I took a shower. I cannot recommend Bluebird highly enough. All the helpers they provided were super efficient, kind and helpful. They allowed me to make changes to my weekly schedule without complaint.
Bluebird was recommended to me by a friend who had used them for a family member and separately by someone else. They helped me out by providing overnight and live-in care for my father while I was away and continue to provide daily care of an hour a day when I am at home. We have now settled into a routine and know which carers are coming and it is working well, it is a relief after a very difficult time after my father was discharged from hospital. Our two regular carers are excellent.

My 93-year-old aunt lives in Islington on her own, the team visit her twice a day to make sure she has eaten taken her tablets and is ok. They contact my sister and myself whenever needed to update us. They provide an excellent service, enabling my aunt to stay in her home and that is all she wants!

There was an occasion when no one turned up which was annoying and a couple of occasions when staff were late but I was kept in touch by the management.
I have never used care services before so really don't know whether I paid a fair price hence my response but on the whole, I think it probably was value for money. It would have been very difficult for me to cope, without the help you provided and I was very before it.
I'm very pleased that Bluebird was recommended to me by a friend. From the descriptions, I have heard of other home care providers, I believe Bluebird is head and shoulders above the others. I have liked all the carers I've been sent, and I am having excellent care from them. In the beginning, until things settled down into a routine, I had too many different carers. I now appreciate how tricky it is working out rotas that always provide clients with exactly the carers they want, and I am very pleased to have the same regular carers almost every day.

I live in America and am the next of kin to my 95-year-old aunt who lives in Hackney. I arranged for weekly care support from Bluebird Care in mid-2021 and due to the need for increased assistance, they are now visiting twice a day 5 days a week. The carers are kind, compassionate and truly concerned for the wellbeing of my aunt. Their service is invaluable.

I suddenly needed short term home support while my partner took a respite break. Mum has had Bluebird carers for around 3 years, most recently providing live-in care. I know that they look after all her daily needs and provide her with companionship and a sense of security. This has been particularly important during the months of lockdown and the carers have been extraordinarily tolerant and patient. When any difficulties or problems have cropped up, they have been dealt with rapidly and efficiently by Bluebird managers and the communication has always been open and reassuring, knowing that the carers are properly backed up by Bluebird which in turn makes me feel reassured. When my mum was briefly hospitalised and lockdown restrictions meant that it was impossible for me to go and visit her, I was completely confident that Bluebird was managing the whole situation and was ready for her when she was discharged. I am really grateful to the carers and managers at Bluebird for all that they do, they support my mum and reassure her family.
My mum had been very resistant to the subject of having carers but with a deteriorating situation, it was very obvious she required more daily support than I alone could provide. The customer care supervisor planned a slow and careful introduction period, where the carers took time to chat and get to know her in the first instance. She very quickly began to look forward to their visits and is now very comfortable with their help and support. She will often tell me how kind her carers are and seems very happy in her current situation. I also know that her carers will let me know, normally via their supervisor, if they notice any health or safety issues between my own visits.

Tania is a qualified solicitor with eight years post-qualification experience in employment law, most recently at the retailer Marks and Spencer.
