Shazana has worked for several years in the care industry from residential, supported living and recently working in domiciliary care.
She has had various roles in the past that have helped to build her skills and knowledge. Having started as a care worker, Shazana then developed into a team leader and care coordinator. Her previous role was Recruitment & Training Manager.
Shazana has experience in mental health & forensics as well as complex needs. She is passionate about supporting and helping people in achieving the best possible care and maintain their independence.
She enjoys working as part of a team and supporting staff to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
Outside of work Shazana loves spending time with her family and enjoys reading, traveling and cooking.
Sonya has been a valued member of the Bluebird Care Worcester and Wychavon care team for 5 years, following a successful career in child care. She has taken over the role of training officer and is instrumental in developing our top-quality training package, ensuring that our new care assistants get the best start to their career journeys.
She also assists with support supervisory roles as well as carrying out her role as Care Assistant and delighting her customers. Outside of work, Sonya is a keen animal lover and an avid fundraiser for charity. She has also recently won the Worcestershire Health and Social Care Domiciliary Carer of the Year award.
Toni joined Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon in November 2023 after being in the industry since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Toni has experience in care homes, the community, end of life care and care management.
Toni is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and is passionate about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those in her care.
Toni has taken over the role of Care Co-Ordinator and administrator and is ensuring that our customers get the highest standard of care available. She also assists with other areas of our business including as Care Assistant as and when needed.
Lizzie comes from a background of care and looking after people for the past 8 years. She is bringing with her the desire to help others in any way she can, and experience in administration. As Customer Service Administrator, Lizzie is here to help with the day to day running and work with people in the community. In her own time, Lizzie enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
Lynn has had many different roles from different backgrounds, bringing with her a wide range of experience. She has worked in care homes, domiciliary care, with autism, dementia, and with those with learning disabilities. We are excited for Lynn to share this experience in her role as Supervisor to our fantastic carers. She has a great passion for raising awareness and helping those with dementia. Lynn has a bubbly character with a warm manner and everyone one of our carers and customers enjoy speaking with her. Outside of work, Lynn loves to spend time with wildlife and animals. She has three dogs, two cats, and a snake at home!
Hilda has been a carer for many years, joining Bluebird Care in 2023. Hilda is a kind and caring person who, with lots of experience behind her, plays a vital apart in our care team, as well as our management team. Hilda enjoys going out on care visits alongside helping our supervisors with their customer packages. Hilda is very family orientated and loves to spend time with her children and husband whenever she can.
Cheryl has come from a background of care over the last 20 years, ranging from domiciliary care to co-ordinator roles. Cheryl has a wide range of experience, including peg feeding, stoma care, and helping those with disabilities. Cheryl has a passion for domiciliary care and continues to do care calls alongside her office role. Cheryl is always up for a chat and she loves spending time with her family. As a family, they always seek some thrill, whether in a theme park or on a cruise!
Ella brings 5 years of customer service experience, with a background in healthcare administration, specifically within home visits in the most recent years.
Now part of the marketing team, she enjoys the variety and creativity of working on digital and social media campaigns. Ella has an organised and proactive approach and thrives in environments where no two days are the same. Outside of work, she prioritises self-care through activities like walking, going to the gym, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
