Thank you County Care, you eased our difficult journey.
I'm so happy we were able to help you and your family at such a difficult time. Many thanks for such a positive review.
During our time with County Care, we've gravitated towards a particular carer who is well matched and simply outstanding. Someone who's always happy, responsive and able to really engage with my wife, thereby allowing me to continue with full time work.
Another impressive aspect of County Care is their ability to juggle unexpected changes to the schedule.
Organising a significant number of carers and accommodating so many different needs is a very difficult job but almost every time I've requested a short notice change, it's been accommodated.
I have nothing but praise for County Care and can recommend them without reservation.
Thank you so much for such a glowing review, the team are delighted!
The service allows her to retain her independence in her own home and also gives me the confidence that she is safe and secure there.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review, we really appreciate it! The County Care Team
But most are good .
Thank you for your review and I'm glad the key carer has been so helpful. We will explore your concern about a couple of the carers not being so keen to help, to resolve this issue.
Mum has a number of different ladies coming in over the course of the week, and every one of them has mum's health and safety as a priority (she has Alzheimer's and pretty immobile). Any concerns, changes in health or worries, the office is informed immediately and then we are contacted.
Mum loves 'her ladies', they always enjoy a bit of banter, even when she can be in one of her 'stroppy' or confused moods, they have patience and respect.
The 'Birdie' App is amazing, such a wonderful tool for families to see exactly what has happened during each visit and most importantly mum was 'happy' and 'no concerns' when the carers leave.....
Thank you for such a wonderful review of our service and I'm so glad your Mum is happy with her carers.
Its a welcomed feeling knowing I can pick up the phone at any time if I need, and they all understand our needs. I feel the carers and I have been through highs and lows together, and thats what makes our relationship so great. Professional people that feel like family. Would be lost without them!
Thank you so much for your positive review of County Care, your feedback means a lot to the whole team
Highly recommended.
It has been our pleasure to look after your mum since her return home and thank you so much for your positive review of our service.
The management are particularly pro active, always ensuring that I am happy with the service being provided to my father, and always available for any questions I need answering.
We very much appreciate your positive feedback, thank you.
County Care Berkshire have provided daily care for my mum for a number of years. At all times each member of staff consistently show her kindness and respect, always going above and beyond to ensure that her needs are met. The team in the office are wonderful and, without fail, always respond positively to any last minute requests for any changes to care, including extra support, that we may need to put in place for mum. Anything they are able to do, I always know they will do.
Thank you for your wonderful review, we all love caring for your mum.
The agency has been helping us care for my brother since April 2024. They have provided live-in care throughout the day apart from a 2-3 hour break. We particularly appreciate the agency's rapid response and flexibility in constantly changing conditions, and their close supervision of the care being given, and coordination with the family and the relief carer. The live-in carers have had to cope with an increasingly challenging situation as my bother's condition has deteriorated, and have done so with tact and goodwill.
Thank you very much for your review, it was a pleasure to support your brother and to work closely with you and your family.
We've been using County Care primarily for weekend care for the last year or so and find them to be most professional, obliging and reliable. They do make a huge effort to fit in with our needs, which is much appreciated.
I was recommended County Care Berkshire by a friend who had been so impressed by the service that her neighbour was receiving from the excellent care team. My 83-year-old Mum needed post-operative care following a hip replacement. The care team assessment was very thorough and the staff were very empathetic to my mum's needs. The care team was very punctual and hard-working. All of the staff members we encountered were charming and highly professional. The staff were very happy to do all of the tasks that we required and were always friendly and upbeat. The staff all seemed very honest and eager to help.
Thank you for your kind review, we were delighted to look after your Mum. Best wishes.
My mother is now far more cheerful and positive about life in general and it gives her something to look forward to and talk about.
I would highly recommend County Care for your loved ones. All the carers are just lovely and it has given me peace of mind on the days that I cannot visit my mother.
Look no further as they really are top-notch!
Thank you so much for the lovely review, we are so glad that your mum enjoys the visits from the County Care Team.
My daughter has been with County Care Berkshire for several years. She has significant physical disabilities and the carers have always provided a reliable and caring service. All the staff are friendly and, from our experience, we have no hesitation in recommending County Care Berkshire.
Thank you so much for your positive review of County Care, we are all delighted that you and your daughter are happy with the care provided.
We have been using County Care for a number of years and would thoroughly recommend the team and their services. Their staff really do care and have provided support for both my parents in turn. They will often go above and beyond what I would consider for a normal carer visit - for example proactively arranging medical (doctor) visits if they feel my mum (or dad) require them and always updating me at every step. I have every confidence in the team and am able to go away on holiday assured that my mum is in safe hands. Any last minute requests for additional visits are always dealt with positively by the excellent team in the office. I couldn't care for my mother without them.
Thank you for such a positive review, the County Care team are delighted you and your family are happy with the support and care provided for your mum.
My son has had three carers from County Care Berkshire to assist him in attending a local day centre a couple of days a week. All three ladies were fantastic. They truly cared for my son and were instrumental in him being able to join in with activities and enjoy his day. Would recommend this company to anyone.
Thank you for your lovely review and I’m so glad your son enjoyed his time with the County Care carers.
Prior to this year, I was an occasional user of County Care services, I employed carers privately and County Care would willingly step in on an ad-hoc basis covering holiday, sick leave etc., their carers always filled the brief. As such, when one of my private carers left her position earlier this year, I decided to engage County Care on a permanent basis rather than employ a new private carer. The owner has organised a great team of carers who competently support me in all aspects of daily living, from personal care to assisting with household chores, they are always friendly, respectful and engaging. It is obvious that County Care provides the correct level of training as the standard of care provided is very high, I would not use County Care if I did not feel confident in their ability to manage my needs. I am very happy to recommend their services!
The County Care team.
A friend of my wife recommended County Care to us in April as they had provided her mother with excellent care at home for some time. It was a great recommendation as they quickly arranged care visits for my mum at home and ultimately provided this for almost six months. Throughout the whole of this time, they were understanding and respectful of Mum's needs and were always friendly and communicative whenever myself or my siblings were visiting Mum. Additionally, Mum really valued the extra social interaction that came with the care visits, giving her a broader rather of things to talk about than family matters! Several of the care staff regularly went above and beyond with the service provided. To sum up, we feel we couldn't have chosen a better care company for Mum.
Thank you so much for your kind words about the County Care Service; we really appreciate the feedback.
Thanks to the excellent service we received from County Care. My father was able to die peacefully at home rather than having to go into a care home which, during a time of Covid, would certainly have hastened his demise. So my mother and I will always be extremely grateful to the County Care team for their kind support and cheerful daily dedication.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments.
County Care looked after my mother for six months. They were very flexible in the care they provided, which enabled my mother to stay in her own home. The carers were very professional, caring and compassionate and provided both support and advice, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review and for your kind words about County Care.

Since qualifying as a social worker, I have specialised in Child Protection both as a Manager within a busy fieldwork team and as the Child Protection Co-ordinator for Slough.
However, running a domiciliary care agency has been the most rewarding challenge of my life. I gain so much enjoyment from meeting our customers and by working in partnership with other professionals and families to ensure our customers have the best possible care. I am so proud of the County Care Team of carers who always go ‘the extra mile’.
When not at work, you will find me singing with the local chamber choir, running Singing for the Brain sessions with the Alzheimer’s Society, working with the Homeless project in Windsor, getting fit at the gym or seeing friends for a coffee.
As the longest-standing employee of County Care, Marcia’s responsibilities span throughout the organisation, from responsibility for ensuring our staff group is paid correctly and on time, to auditing care records and acting as the first point of call for any IT problems! As a Brazilian, Marcia loves all sports (including football, of course) but has a recent passion for skiing.
Liz is integral to County Care, not only as a valued member of our team but for her diligent work with payroll and ensuring clients are invoiced correctly and that carers are paid accordingly.
