County Care Berkshire, established in 2011, provides high-quality care at home for both adults and children.

The experienced and reliable carers are fully trained and well supported by a dedicated Management Team to ensure they deliver compassionate, person-centred care. County Care is committed to helping clients to live life to the fullest by maintaining their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

During an initial home visit, information is gathered from the family about the service user’s health and social care needs. From this, a comprehensive and tailored care plan is developed and agreed upon.

A small, consistent team of carers is then carefully selected to provide continuity of care and build trusted relationships. Families have access to daily care notes, giving them clear insight and reassurance about the support being provided.

The carers are really helpful and all often to do any jobs around the house if needed. Very friendly and helpful to my husband and instil confidence in him.

My dad is receiving outstanding care from County Care. They are extremely supportive of dad and ensure they are always meeting his needs. They are also an invaluable support to me offering useful and constructive advice as I navigate the world of dementia and Alzheimer's. The County Care carers are
kind, compassionate, professional and completely trustworthy. I literally would not cope without them!

I can honestly say that we have had no cause for complaint whatsoever - quite the reverse. The staff have consistently done more than we could have expected. Without them, I would not be here today. When I look at how I was when I came home from the hospital and what the carers have achieved with me
now, I realise it is quite remarkable.
Reply from Charlotte Evans, Director at County Care Berkshire LtdThank you Sheila for your kind words. We are so thrilled to have helped enable you back to recovery and that you are able to resume your life as it was prior to requiring support from us. We shall miss you though.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.833 for County Care Berkshire Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (45 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 54 Ratings = 4.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for County Care Berkshire Ltd is based on 9 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 4.7
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Owner and Director County Care Joined: 2011

Since qualifying as a social worker, I have specialised in Child Protection both as a Manager within a busy fieldwork team and as the Child Protection Co-ordinator for Slough.

However, running a domiciliary care agency has been the most rewarding challenge of my life. I gain so much enjoyment from meeting our customers and by working in partnership with other professionals and families to ensure our customers have the best possible care. I am so proud of the County Care Team of carers who always go ‘the extra mile’.

When not at work, you will find me singing with the local chamber choir, running Singing for the Brain sessions with the Alzheimer’s Society, working with the Homeless project in Windsor, getting fit at the gym or seeing friends for a coffee.
