3Their help and support has been invaluable for the overall care and wellbeing of my sister, they supply care daily. My sister is autistic & OCD and has very specific wishes for how things are done, this is something that can give her anxiety if done incorrectly (as she is not able bodied and can not change things.) The carers understand this and work hard to follow her instructions and make sure she is happy. The staff go above and beyond not only providing care but also help trying to problem solve issues the client may face as well as helping our family by standing in on important meetings regarding the clients care. I feel they are invested in my sister and she is not just a number but a person the carers want the best for. They support my sister which helps relieve the pressure on my whole family allowing us time so we can focus on other areas of needs for my sister instead of just the basic care needed daily.I don't have to worry about being out of action and her being without.
Serenity Care have been providing care to P for just over a year now. On his discharge from hospital he was adamant he didn't need any support but at 86 years old he sure did, he had started to neglect himself and was loosing weight fast. The staff at Serenity Care have given him a purpose to carry on, he enjoys there company and the "banter " they have, they help him with all aspects of his daily tasks and ensure he has eaten and had warm meals throughout the day. They ensure he is smartly dressed and the flat is clean. Communication with the office is good and information given is followed up all the care staff that I have met have been so polite and caring, P also as some regular staff which he likes as it gives him continuity and brighten his days as he looks forward to them coming. P is a lot brighter since Serenity started visiting, I would definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future.
My mother age 90 began to deteriorate badly through old age and frailty. We needed care and needed it fast. As I had used Serenity before for my terminally ill husband I immediately contacted them and care began within 2 days of my call. They treated mother with such love and compassion and made sure all her needs were met. A strong bond was formed. I knew from previous experience that I could trust them implicitly and once again they went above and beyond expectations even dealing with laundry and dishwashing which makes the service excellent value for money. They kept me fully informed at all times even sending me videos of mum when I could not be there. Their support for me as well as mum is something not all agencies can provide. The care they provide is very individually tailored to each client. For me it was the obvious choice and I would do it again if the need arose.
All the carers were caring and respectful throughout, encouraging of her to maximise her remaining capacity but understanding as this diminished. They were also pro-active in suggesting ways in which care could be improved. They worked well with me in discussing changes to the care provided and providing support to myself as her only close relative.
They enabled my Mum to remain in her own home until her death, which was what had been most important to her.
The care given to my Mum following a stroke and then end of life was exceptional. Carers polite and friendly with both family and Mum. They were knowledgeable in lifting and moving and we knew Mum was in the best hands. Management easy to get hold of when care needs changed. They even helped us celebrate her 91st birthday. The whole family would highly recommend this care company.
Staff are very helpful ,caring, kind, considerate, friendly, my husband feels very relaxed safe and comfortable nothing is too much for them they are so helpful they treat my husband and myself with great respect. They are very organised and efficient nothing is too much for them I would recommend them most definitely keep on doing the great job you all do.
Serenity cared for my father as his Dementia became worse as it was proving too much for my mum to cope with. They visited him three times a week and in addition to dealing with his day-to-day care issues, they were a great help in their communication and support for my mum. All the staff were very nice and there was nothing that was too much for them to do. Thank you.
I have the utmost respect for Serenity Care-Support and my dad's care worker. My dad has dementia and can be challenging. My dad respected her and that is good enough for me! She was kind, informative and a real gem. If my dad managed needed care in the home again, or anyone else, I would certainly recommend it.
The entire Serenity Care team were incredibly kind, professional and ethical in their work in caring for my father.
They took time to understand his situation and treated him with total respect as an individual. At times when caring became more difficult, as he became more frail, they went the extra mile in finding solutions in managing the situation.
Serenity Care was highly recommended to us and we are more than pleased to recommend it to others, as a professional and highly trained, quality care provider.
Thank you for all your work with our family.
The staff have such a wonderful caring manner and when they walk into the room my Grandma lights up despite struggling to communicate.
They have gone above and beyond in the care they have given and even helped us to go on a short break by helping my Grandma to video call us so we had peace of mind when we were away.
Thank you so much.
I have not been able to visit, these ladies keep me informed on a regular basis on every level. Medication food etc. Very very pleased with everything. Really put my mind at rest. Flat spotless. My mum is spotless.
Absolutely fantastic company who supports me and my wife. The carers look after me and my wife, they help with personal care, domestic duties and food preparation. They go above and beyond and help me with additional things if needed. No job is ever too much for them they are always professional courteous and willing to help. My wife was in hospital for a period recently they helped me through these hardest times of my life they offered psychological support as I thought I would lose her. We are both very happy with the service and the way our care is provided and would say anybody who needs care should come to this company.
My mum was assigned Serenity Care by the hospital after having many stays there. She was near end of life and had 4 visits a day with 2 carers. Every single caregiver treated my mum with utmost respect and dignity as if she were a family member. I had complete trust in them to provide all her physical and mental needs and nothing was too much trouble. They were the most compassionate, genuine carers we've ever had, not only meeting all mum's needs but also the wider family. They always had the time to give comfort and listen to any of my concerns. I can't praise them enough. They were like friends to me. I can't recommend them enough. Heartfelt thanks.
The carers were very good with my wife. She was end-of-life and needed specialist care. The ladies were friendly, happy to help, and nothing was too much trouble. They treated her with dignity and the utmost respect. She was very well cared for by the ladies. I'm grateful for all their help.
Serenity Care was given to mum by the hospital for her discharge. Mum loved all staff and couldn't wait to see them every day (4 times). Not only were they there for mum, but they were also here for me and my dad. They couldn't do enough for us from the day Mum came home to the day she passed away. Would definitely recommend this company 100 per cent.
The girls that looked after my dad was so caring and respectful when they were attending to his needs that it made it so much easier for the family to spend quality time with him. They always arrived on time and were happy to do any task required either with Dad or for Mum in the home. They were completely focused on Dad's care, and even when Dad passed, they came back to offer their sympathies, which we felt showed how much they really had cared for Dad, and that gave us comfort. Thank you
Even the cat loves our regular carer.
When my dad was deteriorating rapidly due to terminal bladder cancer, the district nurses arranged palliative care visits from Serenity Care. We had two carers coming three times a day to wash and change pads/pyjamas/sheets for Dad, who was bed-bound and very, very frail.
All the carers who came were incredibly professional, respectful and caring. They looked after my dad with the utmost compassion, maintaining his dignity as far as possible. It was very hard work, as he was too frail to even roll over, but they never complained or hesitated to carry out even the most difficult or unpleasant of tasks. My brother, mum and I were and are incredibly grateful to them all.
One thing that was very noticeable was that every pair of carers worked together really well as a team. They were totally focused on looking after my dad!
Our particular thanks go to one carer who shaved Dad so very gently to help him feel more comfortable and was so kind and encouraging at all of her visits.
The care she received from Serenity Care was wonderful and enabled her to continue to live at home for the last few years of her life. The family built up a wonderful relationship with her carer and felt we could trust her with everything. My grandma cared for her too. I am so glad we had them in our lives with them looking after her during the last few difficult months when we couldn't go visit my grandmother because of Corona. I remember on her birthday in 2020 before the pandemic kicked in that they made her a wonderful mug as a birthday present with pictures of her and my granddad that she treasured very much. This level of compassion and kindness is extraordinary! Thank you so much all at Serenity Care for your love and support.
Words alone cannot express our thanks and eternal gratitude to the manager and her team who supported my dad with end of life care. My dad had been hospitalised for almost 3-weeks when it was agreed that to fulfil his and our wishes, a fast track discharge to our home would be put in place. The hospital contacted many care providers to arrange support, none of whom had any availability, whilst the manager and her team were in the same position, they recognised the urgency and importance to us and she and the co-manager simply agreed to cover my dads care to ensure he could return home. They exceeded all our expectations in every way, themanager and her team have skills that cannot be taught a genuine passion for the care they provide, and how this is delivered. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Had it not been for the manager and her team, we would not have had a final and treasured 48-hours with my dad. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a key part of the magic that ensured my dads final.
