My experience with personal care services has been amazing...mum has dementia and does not go out of the house ..she is a very proud lady 87 yrs old. mum would not take any help in her cleanliness and had not taken a shower in months, not even allowing her daughters to help. Personal care staff took
extra time to spend with mum and gain her trust to help her to shower and dress, this was a miracle we as a family thought we may never see mum dressed again. We can't thank you enough :) keep up the amazing work you do...

All the staff at PCS are polite, kind and considerate. The carers are so lovely with my Mum, they make time to listen to hear and have a good chat. They always contact me if they are worried about her. They monitor her medication and let me know when it's running low. They will go the extra mile to
make sure she is comfortable. I know Mum is in staff hands and their care allows Mum to stay in her own house which is what she wants.
When I phone the staff are always very helpful. I feel secure that mum is well looked after and safe.

Mum's been with PCS for nearly two years now and she has some lovely carers who look after her and have got to know her well. She has some complex needs regarding medication and diet and her regular carers have done a great job accommodating her needs. Thanks also to the team in the office who are

PCS over the past months have provided excellent professional care. Our primary carer is completely professional, caring, efficient and totally engages with my wife with humour and interest. She is highly trained and is fully aware of the need to top up medication, toiletries and continence requirements.
She is more like a family member than a carer. Subsequent carers are also of a high standard. Managment are always willing to meet our needs and willing to change our calls to facilitate trips out. Following an accident, care for myself was exemplary.

My carer has now been coming for over 12 months and we have developed a routine. If any changes need to be made, she makes the necessary change and remembers it. She is very quick and efficient, pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend her.

After a bit of a shaky start we are now very happy with our regular carers, they are pleasant, polite and provide a great service. They are always very helpful and cheerful and my husband actually looks forward to their visits which wasn't the case when care first became necessary!
Continuity is key
I believe and in the main, this has now been achieved by the allocations team who do a great job under what must sometimes be challenging conditions.

As a long-time client, my Mum considers her PCS carers to be very much her friends now. They always treat my Mum with sensitivity (and humour when needed!). I can always rely on support from the team and this has helped me to help my Mum, who can be quite an anxious lady. It is fantastic to see Mum

My few words unfortunately cannot do justice to my PCS Carer's and management team, who have become my very good friends and have helped me through troubled times. Their professionalism and care go above and beyond my expectations and I look forward to their visits that brighten up my life alone on

Absolutely exceptional service was provided from explaining the support that could be provided when trying to navigate my way through the care system for my father who needed end-of-life care at home. The care provided was exceptional, considerate and professional at every point. All of the team were

This is the second period I have used PCS for care. I would like to say that my care is always of a high standard. My dignity and feelings are always cared for.
Having been a nurse for 35 years I am totally in awe of the carers knowledge and practical abilities. I would also like to say that having
such care has given me my sense of being and confidence again. I would like to thank all my carers who, both myself and my family, see as friends and as extended family.

I have received care from January 2023. All the carers do an excellent job, always greet me with 'How are you?' They make sure I am washed and dressed with no rush, they do go the extra mile. All of the carers ask have I got everything I need for the day and at night when they put me to bed they make
sure I have a drink and phone and tv remote, what more could I ask for?
Just like to say PCS also visited my husband from November 2016 until January 2022, when he had to go to a nursing home due to vascular dementia and the care he received then was truly amazing.

My mum was very reluctant to have any care help as she is very independent but the suggestion by PCS to drip feed carers into mums day has worked really well. The team have been really lovely to her since we started the care package last year. Her recent fall has changed her needs and the team have
responded very quickly to increase the visits which has helped me enormously to know that she has some additional help.
I've found everyone very professional yet still maintaining a lovely homely feel. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic carers enter my mum's house every day and they go above and beyond their duties, they make all my mum's meals, wash the pots and make my mum's life lovely. My mum's carers in the morning wash her hair and make her look lovely and her clothes are changed every day.

Hi my name is Nicola I am the Director and Registered Manager of PCS, I am responsible for the day to day running of the Company, I have a true passion for what I do and I wear my heart on my sleeve.


I love coming to work every day and my tummy flutters every time I enter the car park at our offices, sometimes I pinch myself to make sure it’s all real.


My other true love is my dogs Buster and Brucie (both are Cavalier King Charles) I suppose I should say my husband too but the dogs are cuter!! I love walking and listening to house music, I should also state I am fond of a good glass of Prosecco or 3!!!!

I am currently learning Spanish, I love anything to do with food or cooking (I will eat anything that comes in sandwich form, but please hold the mayo!) and I also enjoy outdoor adventures on my bike.

I oversee the daily running of the office which can be challenging at times, however thoroughly enjoyable as every day is different. I work with an amazing team both in the office and in the field and get to deal with some wonderful families and clients.


I have 3 beautiful children who test my patience at the best of times but we have some amazing adventures together. I love walking and spending time outdoors and I love coffee a little too much and am trying to cut down so apologies if you get me on one of those days.

Hi, I’m Jem and I oversee the HR and recruitment process for all our candidates and staff members, I make sure everyone who comes for an interview feels welcome and make sure we make the right decisions when choosing who cares for our wonderful clients. I help with a lot of the admin side of things too and complete audits for clients and staff, ensuring we are up to date with information and files. I spend a lot of time going out with my family and friends, and my gorgeous retriever, Teddy, who truly is my best friend and the only one I share my food with! I am the Medication Coordinator. I work in the office and in the field, ensuring that our clients medication is correct! I love getting out and meeting our amazing clients and their families.


I order and audit our clients medication, to make sure everyone is safe. This also means listening to a lot of hold music while trying to get through to the GP’s and pharmacies!


I have a little boy that is an absolute firecracker – he keeps me on my toes, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love spending time with my family, exploring the world as much as possible.
