PCS (Personal Care Services) Ltd really stand out from the crowd. We needed to set up care for my mum very quickly after she had a stroke. I live 200 miles away and Mum very much wanted to stay in her own home and be independent for as long as possible. PCS responded really quickly and we had carers in place within days. They’ve been very reactive when we needed to increase the package too. The carers themselves are so lovely and go out of their way to respond to anything my mum wants or needs. Occasionally I’ll get a text just to say my mum’s doing well. I feel confident she’s well cared for and it gives me great peace of mind. Communication with the team at the office is also excellent.
Thank you very much for taking the time out and posting a review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and will be passed to the individuals managing Mum’s care package. If there is anything else we can help with don't hesitate to contact us.
I am a care user. The team that comes to help me are truly amazing. They are so very kind, gentle and sociable and really go to all the lengths to ensure my safety and comfort. I truly could not manage each day without them. Their company is a delight to look forward to every day. So please can you thank all the team for being so caring, helpful and are truly a credit to your company.

We sadly lost my dad earlier this year and it was lovely to see the way they rallied around to support mum. They were upset themselves and this highlighted how much they care. They are pleasant and friendly and some go the extra mile to chat and make mum feel she has someone different to talk to - she likes to get involved in their life!

Mums regularly carer at PCS (Personal Care Services) is excellent! She is an absolute credit to the company and has built a brilliant relationship with my mum. Mum was reluctant to allow any assistance initially but she has completely put her at ease and mum now looks forward to her visiting each day I can’t recommend her enough!

I cannot thank my mum's carers enough for all they do for her. Not only her medication, cups of tea and chats but for the extra attention to detail and alerting me if something doesn't feel quite right. Her main carers are both quite exceptional. They have been totally amazing not just for my mum but for me too. One is the most caring compassionate person who my mum adores and she often goes that extra mile just to settle Mum if she's not having a good day, she also always checks if I am ok too. She really is an angel in disguise. The other is much the same and deserves the same credit for dealing with the unexpected and bringing a smile to mums face.

My dad has been so fortunate to have main carer. She is most dedicated, professional and always goes above and beyond her role to make sure he is as happy, comfortable, and as well looked after as possible. This includes, but is by no means limited to, making his favourite meals, ensuring his health needs are met, bringing treats, organising his laundry, and getting him singing! It is a huge weight off my mind to know he is being cared for so brilliantly each and every day by this wonderful lady.

I have had PCS caring for me for this last year and the girls are wonderful, caring and considerate. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are chatty, always telling me funny tales and always brighten up my day. The company as a whole are very professional and they go the extra mile if I need extra care sometimes. In my opinion, PCS is the only care company I would recommend as their care is second to none and should it not be for the special care I receive from them I would not be where I am now at home and happy I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with special needs.

All carers are extremely helpful, caring and treat my mum with respect and kindness. Nothing is too much trouble for them, which I am so grateful for. They take so much weight off me and my husband. I am so very thankful.

After being with several care companies, we find PCS to be by far the best all round. Dad is not the easiest of clients in many ways but most of the girls know just how to handle him. Times are quite good with no doorstepping, and as far as I am aware the girls stay for the full time which is especially good for my dad with his complex needs, he loves a good chat and some of the girls have great banter with him, which he loves. If there are any problems the office staff are very approachable and usually very happy to help.

The day staff are really good but not with the night staff, forgetting to change my mum's pad and putting cream on. The two carers are excellent with my mum.
Thank you very much for taking the time out and posting a review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated. We will be sure to investigate the issues with the night staff as mentioned. If there is anything else we can help with don't hesitate to contact us. Kindest Regards, The PCS Team.
They recently took my mum under their wing, and it has been a blessing to the family! Since our introduction, the staff have followed through with everything they have promised and offered and made the family feel very secure about leaving Mum in their very capable hands. The carers, who spend a few hours an evening with Mum, have been attentive, eager to build relationships and, above all, smiley! Our assessment meeting was extremely helpful and her experiences within the role have given us other opportunities to support Mum’s dementia as she sadly deteriorates. The most important thing to the family is that the carers treat Mum as the age she is (with being a younger patient with dementia) which is key to making her feel comfortable and happy whilst at home. They have given our family the chance to have some “normality” for a few hours each evening, which is such a change to the past 4-years that we’ve been struggling to do so. A massive thank you!

Carers are all very good and are very pleasant with dad. They all chat to dad whilst they shower and dress him. They check he's had his medication and apply his creams. We are all very satisfied with the care dad has been given.

Most of the time the carers are on time and know my wife's needs. Some like to have a chat.

Sometimes however the carers don't come until after 9.30 which is just too late for Mum, she gets distressed and upset when she is left too long in bed. This means I end up having to get her up and it defeats the object of having an agency come in and help with her care.
It would be helpful if all of Mum's calls were scheduled for before 9 am.
Kindest regards, The PCS Team.
It has been really great for my sister and me to know that mum is being well looked after, by friendly and efficient carers. As my sister and I live in London and mum is in Liverpool and of course the coronavirus, it would have been difficult to look after her. So Thank you.
Thank you very much Barbara for taking the time out and posting a review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated. Kindest regards, The PCS Team.
My partner is treated with respect and dignity. He has an excellent standard of care given. All aspects of care given as he is bedridden and this is done to a high standard. We have regular carers and nothing is too much trouble, they go the extra mile and care about my well being also.
Thank you very much Maureen for taking the time out and posting a review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated. Kindest regards, The PCS Team.
I was struggling to care for my mother who was unable to walk or care for herself. The district nurse advised me to consider having carers. She organised for them to come morning and evening. They started immediately and since then life has been so much easier for me. They are cheerful, caring and very kind and I can't thank them enough for looking after my mother.
Thank you very much Margaret for taking the time out and posting a review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated. Kindest regards, The PCS Team.
Standard of care and support provided is exceptionally good. There is clear and prompt communication between family and carers which is helpful and means issues are addressed quickly. During the COVID-19 outbreak, carers have gone above and beyond to support mum and the family. I feel my mum is loved and nurtured and that is amazing. Thank you so much.
Thank you very much Angela for taking the time out and posting a review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated. Kindest regards, The PCS Team.
