My husband returned home from hospital in January 2023 after suffering a severe stroke. For three months the team from Personal Care Services has supported and helped my husband each morning with washing and dressing and they have never let us down. A number of carers have visited our home and each
and every one of them has provided excellent and efficient care to my husband. We have really appreciated all that the staff have done for us, they have all been very pleasant, friendly, kind and caring and we would have no hesitation in using the services of PCS again should the need arise in the future.

PCS have been providing 4 times daily home care visits for my mum from June 2021 until February 2022, when she went into residential care. During that time she received consistently good home care input. This has given me, her daughter, peace of mind and allowed me to help my mum in other areas.


All

the visiting PCS care staff have been friendly and respectful with my mum which has helped her to accept that carer help was a positive impact on her life. Thank you to all the care staff who have visited my mum, you’ve made a big difference to both our lives.

I have no words to fully describe the level of absolute professionalism, love, care, empathy and hope that this organisation brought to our home during my late wife’s most desperate hours. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this care provider. The manager / owner of this organisation
is of the highest calibre humanity can offer and in my opinion was a heaven send in our darkest hour. I will never forget.

All the team have been brilliant with my mother in law, from the beginning when needs were assessed it was great to have their professional guidance. As her health improved, together PCS and I reviewed her needs and adjusted her care package accordingly. Everything they suggested was in the best interests
of my mother in law. As for the carers they are just brilliant, always on time, nothing is too much trouble. They take time with her, they stay and have a chat when they know she is lonely. They have become her friends.


I must also say that if for any reason they don't stay for the agreed allocation of time (this will be guided by my mother in law!) the monthly invoice reflects this, amazing. Our 1st experience of care service and boy did we drop lucky with PCS!

Very happy with the service delivered by the team, consistent team members as well, meaning they can get to know Mum's individual ways and needs. They show a genuine interest in the welfare of Mum and are a great support to Dad as well.


Any concerns they have, they raise with a family member and

are always happy to chase up any appointments or additional services needed.

PCS (Personal Care Services) Ltd really stand out from the crowd. We needed to set up care for my mum very quickly after she had a stroke. I live 200 miles away and Mum very much wanted to stay in her own home and be independent for as long as possible. PCS responded really quickly and we had carers
in place within days. They’ve been very reactive when we needed to increase the package too. The carers themselves are so lovely and go out of their way to respond to anything my mum wants or needs. Occasionally I’ll get a text just to say my mum’s doing well. I feel confident she’s well cared for and it gives me great peace of mind. Communication with the team at the office is also excellent.

Mums regularly carer at PCS (Personal Care Services) is excellent! She is an absolute credit to the company and has built a brilliant relationship with my mum. Mum was reluctant to allow any assistance initially but she has completely put her at ease and mum now looks forward to her visiting each day

I cannot thank my mum's carers enough for all they do for her. Not only her medication, cups of tea and chats but for the extra attention to detail and alerting me if something doesn't feel quite right. Her main carers are both quite exceptional. They have been totally amazing not just for my mum but
for me too. One is the most caring compassionate person who my mum adores and she often goes that extra mile just to settle Mum if she's not having a good day, she also always checks if I am ok too. She really is an angel in disguise. The other is much the same and deserves the same credit for dealing with the unexpected and bringing a smile to mums face.

My dad has been so fortunate to have main carer. She is most dedicated, professional and always goes above and beyond her role to make sure he is as happy, comfortable, and as well looked after as possible. This includes, but is by no means limited to, making his favourite meals, ensuring his health
needs are met, bringing treats, organising his laundry, and getting him singing! It is a huge weight off my mind to know he is being cared for so brilliantly each and every day by this wonderful lady.

I have had PCS caring for me for this last year and the girls are wonderful, caring and considerate. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are chatty, always telling me funny tales and always brighten up my day. The company as a whole are very professional and they go the extra mile if I need extra
care sometimes. In my opinion, PCS is the only care company I would recommend as their care is second to none and should it not be for the special care I receive from them I would not be where I am now at home and happy I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with special needs.

After being with several care companies, we find PCS to be by far the best all round. Dad is not the easiest of clients in many ways but most of the girls know just how to handle him. Times are quite good with no doorstepping, and as far as I am aware the girls stay for the full time which is especially
good for my dad with his complex needs, he loves a good chat and some of the girls have great banter with him, which he loves. If there are any problems the office staff are very approachable and usually very happy to help.

They recently took my mum under their wing, and it has been a blessing to the family! Since our introduction, the staff have followed through with everything they have promised and offered and made the family feel very secure about leaving Mum in their very capable hands. The carers, who spend a few
hours an evening with Mum, have been attentive, eager to build relationships and, above all, smiley! Our assessment meeting was extremely helpful and her experiences within the role have given us other opportunities to support Mum’s dementia as she sadly deteriorates. The most important thing to the family is that the carers treat Mum as the age she is (with being a younger patient with dementia) which is key to making her feel comfortable and happy whilst at home. They have given our family the chance to have some “normality” for a few hours each evening, which is such a change to the past 4-years that we’ve been struggling to do so. A massive thank you!

Carers are all very good and are very pleasant with dad. They all chat to dad whilst they shower and dress him. They check he's had his medication and apply his creams. We are all very satisfied with the care dad has been given.

Hi my name is Nicola I am the Director and Registered Manager of PCS, I am responsible for the day to day running of the Company, I have a true passion for what I do and I wear my heart on my sleeve.


I love coming to work every day and my tummy flutters every time I enter the car park at our offices, sometimes I pinch myself to make sure it’s all real.


My other true love is my dogs Buster and Brucie (both are Cavalier King Charles) I suppose I should say my husband too but the dogs are cuter!! I love walking and listening to house music, I should also state I am fond of a good glass of Prosecco or 3!!!!

Hi, my name is Chantelle and I am the Business Development Manager for PCS. I also manage all of the company's Design, Web and Marketing needs.

I am currently learning Spanish, I love anything to do with food or cooking (I will eat anything that comes in sandwich form, but please hold the mayo!) and I also enjoy outdoor adventures on my bike.

I have 3 beautiful children who test my patience at the best of times but we have some amazing adventures together. I love walking and spending time outdoors and I love coffee a little too much and am trying to cut down so apologies if you get me on one of those days.

In my spare time I am a swimming official for my daughter’s local swimming club. Perhaps my most important job is ensuring that the office staff’s caffeine levels are at their absolute maximum.

I love to spend my free time Shopping; some may call me a shopaholic, but I call it Retail Therapy.

Hi, I’m Jem and I oversee the HR and recruitment process for all our candidates and staff members, I make sure everyone who comes for an interview feels welcome and make sure we make the right decisions when choosing who cares for our wonderful clients. I help with a lot of the admin side of things too and complete audits for clients and staff, ensuring we are up to date with information and files. I spend a lot of time going out with my family and friends, and my gorgeous retriever, Teddy, who truly is my best friend and the only one I share my food with! I think people would say I am crazy and talk to much; I call it a free soul!

Hi, my name is Claire.


I am the Medication Coordinator. I work in the office and in the field, ensuring that our clients medication is correct! I love getting out and meeting our amazing clients and their families.


I order and audit our clients medication, to make sure everyone is safe. This also means listening to a lot of hold music while trying to get through to the GP’s and pharmacies!


I have a little boy that is an absolute firecracker – he keeps me on my toes, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love spending time with my family, exploring the world as much as possible.
