Belgrave Care are outstanding in their kind professionalism. The friendly caregivers are very well supported by the office team who are in turn led by their excellent manager who went the extra mile for my mother. I highly recommend them if you looking for a care provider for your parent.

Thank you for your lovely review. We always wanted what was best for your mother and to make her feel comfortable and independent as much as possible in her own home. It was always a pleasure to hear her sing and I know our carers will miss her. We hope that although you live a distance away, we...

I cannot praise and thank Belgrave Care enough for the love and care they have given my mother. My mother went from being a very independent person to being unable to leave the house alone and needing care. Belgrave Care made this transition seamless and my mother looks forward to each visit and looks upon all the staff as her family and friends. The staff are friendly, supportive and professional and a great support to me and my family in caring for my mother. I can not thank or praise them enough.

Thank you for your lovely review. Your mother is a delight to look after and the carers enjoy chatting and having a sing-along with her during her morning call and making sure she has everything she needs for the day. We also thank you for your support as communication is essential to ensuring that your mother receives person-centered care and that you and your family can also have peace of mind.

Belgrave and their team of carers are great for my Mum. They really seem to care about her and it’s peace of mind for myself that they visit four times a day. The ladies chat to my Mum and it’s lovely company for her.

Belgrave Care have looked after my parents for the last three years - first of all helping both my mother and my father with meals and personal care, and for the last year my father on his own, after my mother went into full-time care.
The carers have all been punctual and caring, and very understanding of my father's increasing levels of anxiety. They always dealt with my mother's personal needs with tact and sensitivity.

My brother and I will always be grateful for the patience and efficiency of the management team and their flexibility in meeting our parent's increasing needs.

We started using the services of Belgrave Care in January 2021 for my grandad to assist him in getting dressed, washed and preparing food etc as he had reached the point he was struggling to cope.
From the outset the team were very engaging, they listened to what my grandad wanted help with and put an appropriate care plan in place. The first week or so things bedded in and his confidence with the team grew - he liked the fact that where possible the same couple of staff visited as this also gave some continuity of care and each side knew what to expect from each other. Communication between the team and myself was better than I could have hoped for with an open dialogue of what care had been given and how my grandad had been feeling.
Knowing that he was getting better care than I could have given not only took so much strain off me but also preserved my relationship with my grandad.

They were like an extension of our family at the end, very caring staff.

My mother-in-law had four half-hour visits per day from Belgrave Care. The carers supervised and assisted with personal care and getting her into and out of bed each day. They prepared meals and drinks at her visits and her medication was also administered. During these visits, it was opportune to chat with my mother in law and she was able to communicate her needs and preferences. We were very happy with the care provided by Belgrave. The staff, both carers and management, demonstrated understanding and much empathy with my mother in law which helped her maintain her independence within her own home. We would highly recommend Belgrave Care.

Belgrave Care have been supporting my Aunt for the last three months. She was initially reluctant to accept that she could no longer manage without support and very anxious at the prospect of having strangers in the house. The carers have treated her with the greatest respect and dignity. They have sensitively allowed her to maintain a level of independence and worked alongside her offering appropriate support when needed. The carers are consistently punctual, calm and polite. My Aunt began to regard them as friends and looked forward to their visits. I cannot praise them enough and thanks to them my Aunt was able to continue living at home for a longer period than anticipated.

The overall standard of care and attention my Mum has received over the past few months have been of a high standard. Some carers have gone above and beyond during their visits, carrying out those small tasks that mean so much and enabled my Mum to continue living in the family home for longer. The managers and their team have shown compassion and empathy in their person-centred approach to Mum's care and support. I am sure they are disappointed in their recent CQC inspection report, however, I have no doubt that these areas of concern will be quickly addressed and they will continue to grow and provide exceptional care and support for people living in their own homes. My Mum would not have managed to continue to live independently without Belgrave Care. Thank You.

Belgrave Care has provided care for my 90-year old mother for about one year. They have been responsive to her changing needs and supportive in times of crisis. Any issues with care provided have been dealt with quickly and professionally. The carers are in the main skilled and able to support a wide range of needs. My mother enjoys their company.

I am very pleased with the assistance that Mum receives from Belgrave Care. All of the staff are thoughtful of Mum's needs before anything else. She has four visits per day, three fifteen-minute calls and an hour at lunchtime, also a shopping trip once a week to ensure she has enough food and provisions.
This has meant that my time with Mum is much more relaxed and pleasant. I no longer worry about Mum's chores but have time to enjoy being her son again.
I like the notes and comments made in the visit log, there is always something about how mum greeted or her demeanour that time, which gives a great overview of how mum is coping, which is so important for the medical and practical side of looking after mum.
Lastly, I would just like to say how lovely the ladies who visit mum are; so very thoughtful and caring. I couldn't wish for better, even the cat gets spoilt by them!

If anyone I knew was in the position where they needed extra care I would not hesitate to recommend Belgrave Care.

We have been using Belgrave Care since January 2018 initially for 15 minute 'social check-up' calls and to remove mum's surgical stockings. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, any initial teething issues are handled promptly and efficiently.
We have since increased the care package to include cooking meals for Mum four nights a week and an additional 15 min morning call.

Mum was insistent that she didn't want people coming in and hanging around for "hours" so this length of call is very helpful as she does not actually require much physical assistance. However, on occasions when Mum has been unwell or distressed when the carer has called. They have stayed for longer than the required time and have always contacted me to keep me informed of the situation. Any issues with changes to the care requirements are handled quickly by the very friendly staff in the office, all in all, a very good service.

Having gone through the assessment process and discussing the care required and the timescales, I was assured that this company was more than capable of providing the dementia care required for my mother. On the first day of care, the timescales and care plan was not followed with the first visit being shorter than agreed and the second visit being much longer than agreed. The personal information document left with the call log had 8 major incorrect details. Although the first carer wrote in the log book that she had contacted the office to say that she was having problems and that the manager had said that she was going to call me on the telephone, I did not receive a call to inform of a problem.

On my return home after reading the call log, I contacted the Belgrave Care office to say that I was concerned and disappointed that the requested care had not been provided satisfactorily. I was told that they required longer calls to fulfil provide the care. I decided to end the care agreement

I have been using this agency since they started up last year. I can't fault the staff, attention to detail is fabulous. My mother suffers from Dementia and has been since 2011. I was promised a team of 4 staff and it has never changed, familiar faces every day. The office support is brilliant always there for a chat to talk and communication is excellent. The carers all seem to be mature staff which has helped a lot with my Mother, I wouldn't use another agency and I strongly recommend Belgrave Care, I have kept an eye on the reviews on their website, they should be proud of what they have achieved.

The carers arrive fairly punctually, morning and evening.
We would prefer a later evening call, but they hope to achieve this eventually.
They are kind and considerate, and mainly efficient.

We have had only four carers visiting in the six months they have been coming, so there isn't a constant stream of new faces.
