Windmill Hill Care provides a superb service. My mother is only able to live in her own home due to the level of support she receives from the team at Windmill Hill Care. The team are professional, and they make sure that the client and the family are at the centre of the care. They are a family-run provider and this makes such a difference. My mother feels secure and they give her confidence. We feel supported and part of the team. They provide a service that is tailored to the needs of the client. Their staff are first class and the family know that the owners have a wealth of experience in the care sector. Windmill Hill Care has an excellent reputation and it is fully deserved.

My husband had very complex needs and had refused to accept support for a long time, I was struggling to cope. The manager came to visit, and my husband appreciated that she listened to him rather than just assuming what was best for him. A care package was put in place, which undoubtedly reduced both the frequency and length of hospital admissions. The team were extremely responsive to his needs at every visit and maintained excellent communication with me. I really appreciated the team's flexibility to alter visits according to his needs, and the compassion and kindness they showed in very difficult circumstances. I can never thank the team enough for the peace of mind and enhanced quality of life my husband and I both experienced in his final months. The whole family is truly grateful.

Without any doubt, the Windmill experience is a 10-star service, as they go above and beyond in absolutely every respect - but alas, the rating system only runs to 5 stars, so that’s what they get. Without exception, every carer who came to my dad’s house was caring, considerate, compassionate and fully qualified. The manager runs the whole operation with a firm but very organised touch, that makes working with the company very straightforward and her people all seem to love working for her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Windmill - they are an extraordinary group of people doing fantastic work.

The small family business model is a huge asset for this company; the management team are approachable and friendly and my husband absolutely loves the care assistants who sit with him. I was at a loss when my husband came home from hospital for end of life care. I contacted this company and immediately felt a sense of warmth and care. It was exactly what my husband needed at this very difficult stage. They tended to him with compassion and had his very best interest at heart. Everyone of the staff I met was helpful and understanding and the regularity of staff and timings were extremely important to him. Highly recommend.

This is an outstanding care company. All the carers are extremely helpful, caring, friendly and clinically excellent. I wish I had used them before, as the care provided by the council was poor. The manager/owner is very supportive, knowledgable, efficient and very well organised. She uses carefully vetted staff and provides an excellent, responsive service. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will continue to use them as long as is necessary. Having to deal with a husband with a life changing condition is very difficult, but they have made the situation so much better. It’s a shame more care companies are not like this.

My father, who is totally blind and has a high level of dependency, has been cared for by Windmill Hill Care since he moved closer to his family from South Yorkshire. The level of care and attention from Windmill Hill Care from the very outset, delivers a benchmark standard that other care companies could only aspire to achieve. The carers have all worked with respect and have maintained a level of dignity, with my father, that has been outstanding.

The manager and her team cared for our mother for 2-3 years, up until her death in October 2020. They are the most professional, emphatic team of wonderful carers we have come across. I, having worked in the industry, was impressed by how they treated Mom with such tender dignity. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They all went above and beyond to cater for her needs. My mum has been receiving care from Windmill Hill care since October 2019. The staff have provided an exceptionally high standard of care throughout. Excellent record keeping and regular contact with me which is very reassuring. The staff who care for Mum are so kind and caring. They will go over and above. The care and management of Windmill Hill Care were excellent. The carers treated my husband with care, compassion, and dignity and were always very helpful and arrived on time. The management you could always discuss any problems and you could contact them day or night and they were very supportive.

I am so pleased to have appointed Windmill Hill Care to undertake my mother's daily care routine, particularly so over the initial coronavirus lockdown period when I was unable to travel to visit to assist my mother. The exceptionally hard-working Care Manager, for whom nothing is too much trouble and her team of friendly carers carry out their duties professionally, with dignity, cheerfully and always brighten up the start to each day. It is reassuring to know that my mother is receiving such wonderful care. I would highly recommend this company.
