Woodfield 24 Care Services

From the first visit for assessment, to the last day needed, the care my partner got was excellent. He was treated with the utmost dignity and given excellent care, the carers were dedication team and they stayed as long as they were needed. Caring for someone at end of life is a very hard thing to cope with, they made a big difference to everything and everybody. I cannot thank them enough.

My late husband was very lucky to have had such a wonderful care working team. The treatment of him was first class and given with respect, dignity and consideration, telling him what they needed to do and making him comfortable. They also took time to ask me how I was and made sure I was coping. Although he didn't have the carers for that long, we felt we were cared for as though we were their family. Keep up the good work, as you are a godsend to families at a time when they most need it. A forever grateful wife.

The service provided was very professional, and the staff gave my husband the care, dignity, and respect in his last weeks of life and treated him as if he mattered.

We received vital end of life support for our beloved Mum for the last couple of weeks of her life. We were initially anxious because up to that point we had been providing all mum's personal care so to allow strangers into her home felt strange but we shouldn't have worried. From the first to the last visit the staff were totally professional and treated Mum with the greatest respect and kindness. Without exception the staff cared for Mum's individual needs with dignity, they built rapport with her, indeed she loved everyone of them and did her best to help them to help her. In return they would say they were giving her "spa" treatments, applying face cream, perfume and gently combing her hair. They always spoke to her, explaining what they were doing and treating her as an individual not just another "job". The staff not only supported Mum but us too and made an extremely stressful situation for us less so. We will always be grateful through them Mum passed away in her own home.

I would just like to take the time, to thank the care staff, for their support at this difficult time. My dad was supported with personal and emotional care , he was given choices and control , with his dignity respected at all times. Woodfield Staff, went above and beyond to not only support, my dad but us all as a family,. We will be for ever grateful to you all not just care staff but office staff to. Thank you so so much .

As a very private man, my dad found it difficult to consider having carers, but the Woodfield 24 ladies treated him with such dignity and respect that he soon overcame his initial reluctance, and he eventually enjoyed the visits because he could have a good chat and laugh with them. One of our family members was always with him, and we also found the care extremely helpful because we felt that we were being supported by the best in their field, and they were able to give us valuable reassurance or advice when we needed it. The care and kindness shown by every member of the team was exceptional, and we can't thank them all enough.

My father was cared for by your team four times a day in the final weeks of his life. This was one of the most difficult and emotional times we have ever faced as a family, but the support, compassion, and professionalism shown by your carers made all the difference. From the very first visit, we were struck by the carers' kindness and respect. They were always on time, reliable, and attentive. Every need was met, not just in a practical sense but also in an emotional one. They never rushed, never overlooked a detail, and always treated my father with dignity and gentleness.

What stood out most was the way they spoke to my dad as a person - not just a patient. They explained every step of care, asked for his consent before doing anything, and included him in decisions even when he was weak. That respect gave him a sense of control and value, which meant so much to him and to us. Thank you for everything.

As a family member of a patient with Woodfield 24 we cannot thank them enough for their care and compassion shown not only towards the patient (my dad) but the whole family. Every single carer that attended showed respect and compassion towards us all. They were all knowledgeable and well trained in their work and able to provide the very best support for us all. They offered emotional support and gave us lots of advice. They were very respectful to my dad but also very down to earth and made him laugh and smile during such a difficult time. I would like to thank everyone concerned in the care of my beloved husband for the last 8 weeks of his life, myself and his family have nothing but gratitude for the excellent care he got right till the end, I just couldn't have managed without them and they all went above and beyond what I was expecting and I want to thank each and every one of them from the bottom of my heart

My mum was diagnosed with cancer and we only had mum back home for 1 week until she passed away and the amazing ladies from Woodfield24 gave mum her dignity back, they treated her with respect by talking to her when she was able to understand they would ask her what she wanted how she was feeling and just treated her as a person. They game me and my family so much help, support and encouragement and I can't thank them enough or praise them enough for the amazing job they do.

After the passing of our beloved father, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the team at Woodfield 24 for the outstanding palliative care they provided.

The compassion, patience, and professionalism shown by every member of staff meant the world to us during such a difficult time. Each visit brought not only care, but also warmth and kindness - something we know our dad truly appreciated. Whether he was being a bit rude in his own charming way or cheekily entertaining, the staff always met him with a smile and understanding.

Without exception all of the ladies who visited our home to tend to my wife's needs were kind, helpful and professional. It would be wrong to single out any one of the teams as they were brilliant, right up to supporting her in her final moments.

I cannot praise enough the care my husband received, the carers were so kind and gentle with him, he looked forward to seeing them every day. Angels in uniform, words are not enough to express my gratitude to them.

My late father was given a prognosis of being fast-tracked back in March this year. As a family we were devastated, my dad came to terms with it, as an occupational therapist I knew what lay ahead and the input from services that was needed to support us as a family. After caring for Dad ourselves it came to a point where we needed support it was then that Woodfield 24 came out the same day as referred and care started the following morning; my dad, step mum and us were supported from the first phone call to the last call. The purple angels were there providing dignity, respect, laughter and joy at such a difficult time. They work hard and with pride and this carries into not just the care for my dad but for us as a family. I cannot thank them enough for their support during and even after my dad passed. Now within my own work I recommend them on a daily basis to colleagues and other members of the public alike.

At first I didn't know what to expect when my nanna was told she was being sent home and she would have carers. With no previous knowledge of this I was a bit nervous. I had no need to be. From the first meeting, we were all put at ease and I understood how much help we were going to receive from this company. Every member of staff was lovley. They treated my nanna like the queen she was with the respect she deserved. I knew that when I couldn't be there, that she was in good hands. A few members of staff in particular, always went above and beyond. For their actions, I will forever be truly grateful. Thank you to all of you. At times where you wish the situation wasn't happening, it's comforting to be surrounded by carers who are knowledgeable, professional and compassionate always. Couldn't ask for better.
