They also work closely with local services, making sure they are able to deliver collaborative and reliable care that fully supports the needs of the person.

End of life care is extremely emotional and can be very challenging. From our perspective as a family, you are sensitive to our loved one's needs and just want everyone else to be the same. Death may be a common issue, but it's personal and individual. Staff not only cared for my aunty well, consistently,
responsively and were punctual, but did this with compassion and dignity.

We were very wary about having carers coming into our house to care for my wife - it was something we had no experience of. All the carers were amazing and treated my wife, and the rest of the family, with the utmost care and respect. From the first contact, our doubts were allayed. The approach
taken by all the carers was professional, respectful and very reassuring at all times, and was done with good humour when appropriate. You didn’t just care for my wife - you cared about her as well. Thank you so very much!

Dad was diagnosed in October of 2019, and received end of life care from Woodfield over the last few months of his life to his sad passing in late February 2020. As would be expected, Dad deteriorated over the few months that Woodfield helped both Dad and the family, but there were no surprises for
this extraordinary team; nothing phased them; nothing was too much trouble. My real regret is that the relationship the Woodfield staff developed with all the family could not be continued after Dad's passing - such is the quality of the love, care and friendship they provide.
It is remiss of me personally that this review is posted so long after the service these wonderful people provided, but other things meant a good few things were put on hold for a lot of us. For this, I can only apologise, but suffice it to say that on reading this, those involved will know who we are, and more importantly who looked after Dad, and know we still value you all. Keep doing what you do so well.

I can't thank Woodfield 24 Care Services enough for the care they gave to my mum during her final months. They were friendly, thoughtful helpful and caring. They also provided great support to myself and my brother at this very difficult time. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

When my mum was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer in September 2020, we (Mum and I) did not really know if we needed them so early into her diagnosis. How wrong we were? The team were incredibly caring, respectful and above all considerate to my mum's needs at every step of the way. As Mum
declined very quickly, the team's care tone moved seamlessly from much-needed lightheartedness and conversation at the beginning to a quiet, considerate and efficient calm when Mum had no energy or desire to engage.


Not only did they support my mum incredibly, but myself and Dad as well. The news of Mum's diagnosis and speed of decline hit us very hard and they were so genuinely caring towards us as a heartbroken family.


I am genuinely grateful that I met such an amazing team of carers and, whilst it is hard to accept that our loved ones (or us) may need their help in the future, I am thankful that this team exists to make the unbearable slightly more bearable.

I was extremely pleased with the carers who attended to my husband and our family for the two weeks in February when he was on end of life care. Their professionalism and compassion were amazing and so reassuring. A massive thank you to everyone.

Woodfield 24 Care Services went out of their way to provide our mother with the best professional palliative care you could ask for. From the initial assessment of our mother we knew she would receive first-class care. They provided a care folder with all details of mums condition, to her likes and
dislikes. Being 95 mum mentally all there and remembered all their names. Being at a time when Covid19 was active all the carers wore personal PPE on their visits. They were always cheerful and engaged with mum giving her the respect, dignity and attention needed on their visits, taking care of mums personal hygiene on every visit. All these details were carefully logged into mums personal care folder, which all following carers read prior to administering any care. Whilst mum was slowly fading away they never showed signs of any negativity. They, with their knowledge, also provided the family with details of what was happening to mum in her latter days which gave us support until final day.

All the staff are really helpful, caring and friendly. They look after my sister who has terminal lung cancer and had a serious stroke in January 2019. She, unfortunately, cannot walk and is only able to lay in bed or in a special chair.
They help make her life as comfortable as possible.

Woodfield 24 cared for my mum after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The care mum received was fantastic and I don't know how we would have got through the weeks without their continued love and support. The carers treated Mum with dignity, love and dedication. Thank you.

The staff of Woodfield 24 are absolutely amazing. The care and compassion they showed to not only my mum during the last 2 weeks of her life but also to my dad, my brother and myself, was second to none. Every time they visited they were friendly and cheerful, they treated mum not as a client/patient
but as one of their own family. I cannot say enough good things about these people and I will be forever in their debt. I would most definitely recommend them to others.

The team have been visiting and caring for my mother for almost eight weeks now. We could not ask for better for her. All the girls are very professional and sincere. They always bring a smile to Mam’s and our faces, nothing is too much trouble for them.
The whole team have made this sad time for
us all more bearable. I have no hesitation in recommending the service to anyone in a similar position.

The care my mum received during the final weeks of her life was second to none and we, as a family, are so grateful to all the wonderful staff that cared for her. We were greeted every day and throughout the day by lovely smiling faces that reassured us, advised us and treated mum like one of their
own family. We put our trust in these amazing ladies and they didn’t let us down, we couldn’t have fulfilled mum's final wishes without their loving care. Thank you so much you truly are angels each and everyone.

Words are not enough to thank all the care team that looked after Dad in the last few weeks.
The professional, dedicated but most of all genuine caring team enabled us to allow Dad his final wish to die at home with dignity.
They not only provided personal care to Dad, but emotional care to all of
us, especially Mum.
This has made the grief a little easier to bear, and for that, we will be eternally grateful.
Mum coined them the hero's in purple.
They never let you feel you were a burden, or an inconvenience, no matter what time of day or night you called.


I really hope other care providers are looking to you for how things should be done.

I never imagined I would ever have anyone in to help care for my mum. I'm so glad I chose Woodfield. The ladies came into my mums home with great care and dignity. The personal care they helped her with was outstanding. They were so kind and so patient with her, nothing was too much trouble. They also
supported me at a time I was struggling with which I so needed and never expected. It was good to know my mum was in good hands. We started with two visits per day and when we needed to go to four it was arranged through a phone call and started the very next day. If you're looking for care for anyone I would recommend Woodfield 24 Care Services with all my heart.

My Mother was discharged from DRI (Doncaster Royal Infirmary) on the 4th November and we were given Woodfield 24 Care Services which was an absolute godsend, every single team member who came to care for my Mother did so with such warmth and compassion as though they were tending to a member of their
own family. Never having dealt with carers before, we were not quite sure what to expect but what we received outweighed our expectations, they showed total respect to each and every one of us and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were offered and accepted two night sits which we gladly accepted. The team member who attended, made us feel as though our Mother was in the best hands possible, so again, 'Thank You' so much for all the services you have given my mother and family, we cannot thank you enough. Please convey our deepest thanks to every care worker who attended my Mother and kept us sane.
