If I could give a zero I would. Poorly managed, care times changed without notice frequently and the carers are always late. Despite many complaints service never improves. Manager not interested, makes promises he doesn't keep and refuses to take responsibility blaming anyone except himself. Total incompetence avoid if you can.
Thank you for your review. Naturally we are extremely disappointed to hear of the issues you have raised. We take all concerns seriously, and this matter has been brought to the attention of the Branch Manager. They will be in touch with you directly to discuss your experience and work towards a resolution.
My mum, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago, was cared for by a team from Aroma for about 2 years, and I cannot rate them highly enough. They were always cheerful and friendly, and took mum's grumbles with good grace. Personal care is always difficult, but the teams professionalism set her at ease. She loved to chat and they always seemed ready to listen to her talk about her grandchildren; her only complaint was that they couldn't stay longer. Special shout-outs to Blessings, Temi, Prince, 'K' and Anne.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, we are so glad we were able to provide the best care for mum while she was with us. We were privileged to have had the opportunity to take care of her.
Extremely poorly managed, per the following:
2) Regularly attend at the wrong times of day.
3) Assigned a carer who is scared of dogs and therefore couldn't enter the property, on multiple occasions.
4) Failed to record, report or inform anyone that Mum had a fall, despite very obvious bruising.
5) Unresponsive management team who say they will do things and/or improve service levels but don't, even when directed to by the Local Authority.
6) Zero continuity of service because it's rarely the same carer in attendance, even on the same day.
It's only my opinion based on personal experience, but I would suggest avoiding at all costs.
We are always looking to ensure our service is meeting the needs of our service users and they are happy with the service so please be assured this will be treated with the utmost urgency.
Generally good although timing could be better. I would prefer a later call in the morning about 7:45 to 8am. 7:15 is too early as I don't sleep well because of the pain. I have had problems with one female carer who doesn't understand how bad the pain is in the morning and doesn't treat me with respect. We have had a discussion and things have improved.
Thank you for your review we are pleased to hear your service has improved. We are always striving to improve our care delivery so please feel free to raise any further concerns directly to myself should the need arise.
Overall very satisfied with the care received.
Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you are happy with the care delivered by our dedicated team.
Lovel girl but unaware of removing night bay in the morning and fixing leg bag securely.
Thank you for your review, we are always looking to improve our service and welcome your feedback in order to do this. Please feel free to raise any concerns in the future directly to your care office where it will be looked at with great importance.
Aroma Care has looked after both my parents and just my Mother now as Dad has passed. The team are very friendly and have an excellent way with elderly people. They treat their clients with respect and I know my mother looks forward to them visiting. Nothing is too much trouble and I trust all of them to look after Mum which is reassuring. The management are great and if something is not quite right it is not a problem to sort it out. A great team of people. Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are so pleased to hear that Mum is receiving great care from our team.
Generally the care provided to my sister in law is very good. If we have issues with a carer we tend to sort the problems out with them. The main carer for my sister in law is excellent. They seem to have a good understanding with each other. The relief carer is not so good and tends to do as little as possible and my sister in law has said she spends a lot of time on her mobile phone.
Thank you for your review, we are pleased to hear the main carer is delivering excellent care. Your feedback is vital in assisting us to improve all aspects of the service and will support us well in those efforts.
The carers at Aroma Care are excellent, they all work so hard and are cheerful, very respectful and put you at ease in difficult circumstances. I am never made to feel rushed and they are mindful of my needs before leaving. They do their best to accomodate hospital appointments and family visits.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are so pleased you are happy with your care and your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Other carers are ok but tend to rush mum, which stresses mum out.
The management needs to sort their rotas out as mums' visits have got later and later.
Thank you for your feedback. We are always delighted to hear about our care staff delivering the best care. Your feedback with regard to the care times will be looked into, and we hope we can improve this for you and mum very quickly.
Well looked after by kind carers. Thorough washing and dressing. Some eratic timing because of work load. Very helpful to be informed by telephone of delays or changes. Generally very helpful.
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that your overall experience with Aroma Care is a positive one. We are always looking to improve our service, and your feedback is valued.
