Oakhaven care provided my husband with the extra care he needed at the end of a long journey with cancer. It was his wish to stay at home and I needed a little support. All the carers were so kind and caring. Doing their best at all times to be respectful of robs condition and wishes.

They were professional and sensitive to both our needs. I would highly recommend this care company.

My mother had 2 carers 4 times a day for 15 months. The standard of care was outstanding, the management team very helpful, compassionate and approachable. I would often visit and hear gales of laughter, mum really enjoyed the lovely ladies that made her position more bearable. I'm convinced the standard of care greatly contributed to mum surviving much longer than expected. The carers also kept an eye on my dad who although struggled to cope with mum being at home devoted all his time to her.
Although the care is more expensive there is no comparison with care agency we had brief experience of that was provided by local council, Oakhaven are well worth the money.

I would recommend them to anyone

We cannot thank Oakhaven Care enough for the outstanding care they provided for our late father. Every single member of the team-carers, office staff, and managers-was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely committed to his wellbeing.
The daily social interaction with each carer meant so much to Dad. They took the time to really get to know him, to understand his medical needs, and to adapt their care with patience, professionalism, and kindness. Their visits were not just practical support, but moments of conversation, reassurance, and genuine connection that lifted his spirits every single day.
The office staff and managers were equally exceptional, always organised, responsive, and supportive. They made everything run smoothly and gave us complete confidence that Dad was in the very best hands.
As a family, we are deeply grateful for the dignity, compassion, and respect shown to Dad and to us throughout his care. Thank you from

all the family of David. X

Regina is a wonderfully calm and caring lady who looked after my late father with great patience and compassion. She was proactive in finding ways to make his life easier and was also an excellent housekeeper and cook, always thinking ahead. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Regina - she was an exceptional carer and a kind, reassuring companion to both my dad and me.

Dale provided outstanding care for my late father in the last month of his life, combining professionalism with warmth, humour, and empathy. She went above and beyond - visiting him daily in hospital, adapting his diet, and bringing him joy through music and companionship. Despite the demands of her work, her kindness, energy, and compassion never faltered, and I will always be deeply grateful for the comfort and dignity she gave my father and me. Dale was by my side when my father passed away, and I will always remember her kindness, strength, and support at such a sad time

I've been using Oakhaven Care services for over 5 years now. I initially contacted them to provide daily visits when it became obvious that my father was struggling with caring for my mother, who was having a hard time with depression and decreased mobility. The change that the Oakhaven carers brought to the house was immediate and transformative. Suddenly, my father was no longer the only person responsible for caring for my mother, which meant that their relationship could go back to being husband and wife, rather than what it had become. Then in early 2020, my father fell and broke his hip, at which point, Oakhaven were able to provide live-in carers to assist with all the things my father was no longer able to do. Since mid-2020, we've been using the same live-in caregiver and she remained in place after my mother's passing later that year. I'm really not sure if my father would still be alive if not for the amazing presence of his carer.
