First I would like to say a big thank you to Oakhaven Care team for all their care and support through a difficult time, the standard of care my partner received was amazing, they made each day special and made my partner and I smile when we needed it on our low days. The care team made it possible
for my loved one to be with me to the end at home

Regina is a wonderfully calm and caring lady who looked after my late father with great patience and compassion. She was proactive in finding ways to make his life easier and was also an excellent housekeeper and cook, always thinking ahead. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Regina - she was an
exceptional carer and a kind, reassuring companion to both my dad and me.
Dale provided outstanding care for my late father in the last month of his life, combining professionalism with warmth, humour, and empathy. She went above and beyond - visiting him daily in hospital, adapting his diet, and bringing him joy through music and companionship. Despite the demands of her work, her kindness, energy, and compassion never faltered, and I will always be deeply grateful for the comfort and dignity she gave my father and me. Dale was by my side when my father passed away, and I will always remember her kindness, strength, and support at such a sad time

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I've been using Oakhaven Care services for over 5 years now. I initially contacted them to provide daily visits when it became obvious that my father was struggling with caring for my mother, who was having a hard time with depression and decreased mobility. The change that the Oakhaven carers brought
to the house was immediate and transformative. Suddenly, my father was no longer the only person responsible for caring for my mother, which meant that their relationship could go back to being husband and wife, rather than what it had become. Then in early 2020, my father fell and broke his hip, at which point, Oakhaven were able to provide live-in carers to assist with all the things my father was no longer able to do. Since mid-2020, we've been using the same live-in caregiver and she remained in place after my mother's passing later that year. I'm really not sure if my father would still be alive if not for the amazing presence of his carer.
Reply from Erica Longyear, Managing Director at Oakhaven Care LymingtonThank you for the taking the time to leave a review. We have been honoured to have the privilege of original supporting your mother and then being able to continue to support your father.

Oakhaven Care provides my mother with a fantastic service. They are very reliable, conscientious and kind. My mother enjoys her evening visits from Oakhaven care staff and speaks very highly of the care they provide. They go out of their way to provide a first-class service, even when contacted out
of hours, nothing is too much trouble and they are extremely focussed on the wellbeing of the client. I would strongly recommend Oakhave Care to anyone looking for a home care provider.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.984 for Oakhaven Care Lymington is calculated as follows: ( (63 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 64 Ratings = 4.984

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
