They were gentle, professional and caring, not only to mum, but also us and all the family, including the dogs!

The Oakhaven Care Team who looked after my father, when he was eventually discharged from hospital, were simply outstanding. I couldn't have asked for more regarding the standard of care provided... each member of the team who carried out the home visits had the upmost empathy, showing immense kindness and being so careful in the process of providing personal care, helping him to reclaim his dignity.

Whilst providing this care it was incredible to witness how everyone who visited also looked out for all the family members present, especially my mum.

I'm confident in saying that I had the strength to show up for my father in the best way possible, when he was brought back home to spend his final days, due to the compassion and professionalism of Oakhaven, and all they did for him each day.

I want to formally express my eternal gratitude, and gratitude on behalf of all of the family and loved ones.

When mum and dad moved home in March '26, it became apparent that they needed support for some daily activities. Oakhaven were able to put in place a care package within days of the need arising. The visits were prompt and the staff were all excellent and well briefed on what was required. The feedback each day I received via the app was amazing and allowed me to track how my parents were coping. As time went on they needed more care and as dad became more unwell Oakhaven staff managed the care needs and frequency of visits to the highest possible standards. Unfortunately, dad passed away at home, but in the final days it was with the help of Oakhaven, and their diligent communication, that dad died with all of the dignity and respect he deserved. From first to last Oakhaven were amazing with both of my parents. I cannot thank all of the staff enough and would not hesitate to recommend these amazing people to anyone in need of care!

I simply cannot recommend Oakhaven enough. Narika is precisely the sort of person you need at moments when your precious people are in the middle of a bureaucratic nightmare. As soon as we got her and Oakhaven on board to help us get our terminally ill friend home, everything transformed. It felt as though we had someone completely on our side and we were not alone anymore. Although the actual period of care was very short, Precious, the carer, was completely in control and reassured us that our beloved friend was in the best possible care.

It has been a difficult job persuading my 96 year old Mum of the need for a care package. She is fiercely independent and can sometimes seem a bit uncooperative and resistant to help. Now, some 6 weeks into the arrangement with Oakhaven, she is transformed. All of the carers she has seen on a half hourly, weekday basis have been proficient, sympathetic and cheerful. Of particular note, and the reason for this review, was the additional, specialist care provided by one of the carers when massaging my Mum's delicate legs. It led to a sincere compliment from her and a call from me to the Oakhaven office to pass it on. Thanks from all of the family.

Thank you to all the carers who have helped my mother over the past five months or so. Although I didn't meet all of them, the carers I did meet were very nice and helpful and incredibly kind towards my mother. My family and I very much appreciated their dedication and commitment to my mother.

You have provided care for my frail, elderly mum since June 2025. She is very happy with the kind, caring people who come in to her and I appreciate the support she is given and of me being kept informed of any concerns that may arise. We have always found the office staff very helpful too.

I have been having care from Oakhaven for over six months now. I am a lady with multiple Sclerosis. The Office staff always a very helpful. The carers are very competent and kind. They have been nothing but delightful, thoughtful and they certainly keep my spirits up with a lot of laughter.

Oakhaven Care provide a fantastic service for my Mum. They visit four times a day and help with her breakfast, lunch bathing and bed. They are very reliable and always call if they are delayed. Mum really enjoys their visits as it gives her some socialising. They have gone over and above their way in helping to provide support when needed.

Dale provided outstanding care for my late father in the last month of his life, combining professionalism with warmth, humour, and empathy. She went above and beyond - visiting him daily in hospital, adapting his diet, and bringing him joy through music and companionship. Despite the demands of her work, her kindness, energy, and compassion never faltered, and I will always be deeply grateful for the comfort and dignity she gave my father and me. Dale was by my side when my father passed away, and I will always remember her kindness, strength, and support at such a sad time

So fortunate to have had the services and support of Oakhaven care for the last 4 years. They made a real connection with the family, there to provide care for my dad but also so reassuring that they were looking out for my mum too, and would regularly feedback if they had any concerns. The team were so caring and would help out with little odd jobs if they had the time, always bright and cheery and having a laugh with mum and dad...and the dog. They were a huge support helping to deal with social services when extra support was needed, we couldn't have asked for anymore.
