I have been using Bluebird Home Care for just under two years for my nan, and I honestly cannot thank them enough for the care and support they provide. Their focus on person-centred care truly stands out, and every member of the team takes the time to understand my nan's individual needs, preferences, and routines.
They have built such a strong and meaningful relationship with her, always treating her with kindness, dignity, and respect. They don't just provide care - they genuinely engage with her, make her feel valued, and prioritise all of her needs. Seeing how comfortable and happy she is with them gives our family complete peace of mind.
The support they have also given me personally has meant so much. Without them, I would honestly feel lost. Knowing my nan is in such caring and capable hands has made a huge difference to our lives, and for that I will be forever grateful.

My husband start to receive morning care ftom Bluebird in March 2025.At the beginning of December he was having end of life care and needed an evening carer too.They were all so kind and gentle with him.During his last days they were also supportive to me and our daughters.I can't speak more highly of Bluebird carers.I delayed having carers but once they started,we looked forward every morning to them coming. My husband loved them as they would gently tease him.It lifted our spirits.The decision to have Bluebird Care was made after Lindsey visited to assess our needs.She came across as a caring person and when our situation was changing Bluebird was very helpful and adapted to our needs.I am so grateful to the carers for being there for us during a difficult time.Although we had to fund the care, I feel it was worth it to keep my husband at home.
We were very happy to have been able both to know you and your husband and also to be able to help, especially during the last days. The team of carers is excellent and they work in a very professional manner and their kindness and perseverance is second to none. If there is a problem they notify the office who pass the information on to the family. After each visit they leave detailed notes which are easily accessed for family members to see what has happened during the visit. Moreover, they arrive on time.

After using another provider and receiving extremely poor care for my mom I decided to move to Bluebird. I was in contact with Jak and though feeling skeptical at first, this turned out to be the best decision I made.
From the start Bluebird were professional, with Jak visiting my mom and arranging a care plan. They managed to get something set up within a few weeks and then add another call at short notice. The difference in the care my mom was provided was 100 times better. The staff seemed caring and spent time getting to know my mom and encouraging her to do things. There was a couple of outstanding carers that went above and beyond as well.
I would highly recommend bluebird. The cost was a lot more than the previous, but sometimes you get what you pay for. Cost is comparable to other well rated providers, and they are clear about costs which some are not. Communication was great from the company at all stages.

Jak has been amazing at ensuring, as a family, we are fully aware of the procedures and paperwork and is constructive in replying to emails.
The communication we have via the portal is also very welcome as with distance between myself and my father means that I am reassured as to his care. Would highly recommend Bluebird.

As a relative navigating choosing a care provider and making decisions for a relative can at times be overwhelming and a responsibility.
From the off set Manager Jak was super helpful ,his response to an initial enquiry was prompt and professional .He has a real ' can do' attitude and instantly puts you at ease. His compassion shines through and everything he said he was going to do he did! A package of care was set up quickly and my Moms needs were at the centre of all decision making.
Without exception the carers involved with my Mom were kind ,patient and caring and acted with professionalism.My Mom loved all the carers that came to her home and she was always happy to let them in.

Since my Dad returned from hospital in 2022 following a stroke, our level of support has been nothing short of exceptional. The carer is an incredible, kind-hearted, patient individual who defines the role of being a carer - he truly cares. Not just for my Dad, but the physical & mental wellbeing of our family too. He consistently goes above + beyond every visit - always bringing positive energy & a can-do attitude to every challenge! The carer not only helps with my Dad's personal care - but he has also played a big role in improving my Dad's speech, which has come on lots. We could not have asked for a better carer. We contacted Bluebird because we need help with some of the jobs around the house e.g. changing the bed. We decided to go with a carer rather than a cleaner as I am beginning to suffer from arthritis and will probably need some personal care at some point, and wanted to get used to having a carer. The service is wonderful. The carer is always on time and always does what I ask. The work is done excellently and the carer is always smiling and friendly. We look forward to our visit every week.

The service we have received from Bluebird is second to none. We were made to feel at ease from the initial home visit to meet my parents. The manager explained in detail the service provided and a care plan was set up. From day one the staff have been so caring and thoughtful going above and beyond, a massive thank you to the two carers who regularly keep in contact. Bluebird started caring for my nan in 2023, all the staff our family came into contact with were honest, caring, and dedicated workers from the moment they started care until the day we lost her. You can tell from the moment you meet the staff that they have passion and drive to deliver the best service possible. I wouldn’t recommend any other service provider.

Bluebird cared for my father-in-law before he had to go into a care home, they were excellent always on time and caring. They never rushed him and would not leave until he was happy with everything they did for him. The staff were kind and efficient. I was so pleased with them that I have now employed them to help with my mother's care. A certain staff member makes sure we have a full care package in place and that Mum is happy with everything. I would recommend them to anyone looking for care.

I contacted Bluebird Care to help with my mother in law’s care in July 2022. She was low in mood and felt isolated and lonely following the death of her husband of 60 years. She was also becoming increasingly forgetful. I have to say that she has improved immensely since the Bluebird carers have been visiting and she always looks forward to their arrival. The office team always respond to any queries promptly and efficiently and have been very helpful in increasing the number of visits when my husband and I are away. I thoroughly recommend Bluebird to anyone in need of carers.

Bluebird carers visited my father three times a day, he was 102 years old and very independent, but limited with some jobs such as cooking, clothes washing, changing and washing sheets and general housework. They were great with him and he loved seeing them, he was happy to let them help with his daily crossword! When he suddenly became unwell, within a day, twenty-four hour care was in place for the last two weeks of his life, even to the point of a carer popping in to help the attending carer to turn him. I can’t thank them enough for the emotional support they gave as well. I would recommend them for the care they give.

Nicola comes to the Care profession having worked as a Solicitor for over 20 years. In her role as a Solicitor, she was able to see at first hand how the lives of people could be enhanced significantly with the right care provision being made and just as importantly how the wrong care could hold people back.
With Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest and Malvern Hills, she is able to put into practice what she has seen in her career as a Solicitor. Her time in the law also means that she has experience of running a business and a team of people, to ensure that everyone is working together to achieve the goal of providing excellent care.
Adrian comes to the company having spent over 20 years in the legal profession as a Solicitor.
As well as years of experience as a solicitor he is quite tall, which can be useful in the office. He is also not afraid of spiders and he is therefore able to fulfil a vital office role; that of being able to go into the cupboard and to get unwanted spiders from the office. He can also handle a Daddy Long-Legs at the right time of the year.
Adrian can also make tea and coffee.

Despite his young age, Jak has a wealth of experience in the care sector. Starting work in care at the age of 17, there is not a lot that Jak has not seen in his years working in care.
Jak is our Registered Manager and so is the main point of contact for anyone looking to find out about us and the brilliant service that we provide.
Every so often you get someone who is new to care, but very quickly you wonder why, because they are just naturals. In our case.....meet Lyndsay.
Lyndsay had done a variety of jobs before joining us, but as soon as she started with us it was clear that this was where she belonged. From the start she demonstrated a compassionate approach with a great attention to detail, which she has continued to show in her progression with us.
Kira was born at Dudley Zoo in September 2019 and joined the team in the summer of 2020.
Given the low ceilings in the office, Kira prefers to stay at the zoo, with her mum and dad but is happy to welcome customers, staff and their families to the zoo when they come to pay her a visit. We are corporate sponsors of Kira at the zoo and so staff and their families have access to the company ticket whenever they want.
