I joined the healthcare sector in February 2009. I have worked in diverse settings across the industry and proudly maintained a highly productive, efficient and quality-driven service in all areas, adapting and adjusting to the constant changes in the industry. I have become highly analytical, constantly striving to improve the workplace.

“I have studied and worked in healthcare since 1990, qualifying as a Registered Nurse in the NHS. I worked as a matron for over 20 years before I left to work in the private healthcare sector.

I have also been a registered manager. The skills and knowledge I have gained throughout my career have given me an extensive understanding of the importance of following rules and regulations that relate to healthcare practices to allow operations to run smoothly and to ensure that our carers and staff follow set procedures and understand expectations to provide quality care for our service users.”

With over seven years of combined experience in residential and home care, I have developed a passion for caring for and supporting others. As a qualified primary school teacher, I am rounded and equipped to make a change.

I have been working in health care on the front line for the past two years as part of the Ambulance Service and utilise the knowledge and understanding of person-centred health care and experience to inform my role at Peach.

She has progressively advanced into this current role throughout her career, developing a strong passion for supporting and caring for others. Vanessa is eager to bring her skills and knowledge to Peach Care and is committed to further expanding her expertise while in this position.
