POVA Care Bradford

We regularly book POVA Care privately to help wash and dress my 94-year-old mother-in-law. POVA are happy for us to book random days or weeks without long-term commitment. A very professional service with friendly, reliable carers. My mother-in-law regularly sees the same familiar faces who know the routine and she really enjoys their friendly chat as they get her ready. I thoroughly recommend.

This is a complete violation of client privacy, safety and well-being and in breach of the patient care plan. The audacity to intentionally provide male carers to a female client, whose agreed care plan is females only, is an intrusion on their privacy. This repeated, intentional, misogynistic, management of my mother-in-law's care plan is in contradiction to patient-centred care and does not satisfy the duty of care POVA owes to my mother-in-law.

POVA's carers have been brilliant with both our parents, who are afflicted by dementia and were very reluctant to accept care of any kind, from anyone, because they don't see themselves as needing it. POVA's carers, through consistent and patient approaches, managed to persuade both of them to accept necessary personal care. POVA are continuing to support our family with professionalism at a very difficult time. Carers who really care, and are very good at their job! We are very grateful.

This service is amazing, they really do care for my auntie. They are very professional. Management and the office team are very helpful. You will always get someone on the phone. The carers are so lovely and trained to a high standard. I would recommend POVA all day long.
