Meet the Team (1)
Danielle Sefu is the Registered Manager of Edith Healthcare, a family-run service delivering complex and general homecare across Dorset and Hampshire. Holding a BSc in Psychology and a foundation in a plethora of experience in several areas of the healthcare sector, Danielle brings a strong blend of clinical insight, behavioural and emotional understanding, and operational skill to her role.
Her experience spans complex community packages including neurological conditions, PEG/enteral feeding, tracheostomy and ventilated care, palliative and end-of-life support, dementia, and learning disabilities. Danielle leads on person-centred planning and safeguarding, ensuring that each plan reflects the individual’s wishes, goals, culture, and family relationships.
Collaboration is central to her practice: she works closely with community nursing teams, commissioners, hospices, multidisciplinary professionals, and families to adapt care safely as needs change. She also designs practical training and competency workshops—especially supporting carers who are new to the sector —covering compassionate communication, dementia de-escalation, medication safety, and complex care skills.
A committed advocate for dignity, independence, and meaningful daily life, Danielle aims to ensure every person receiving support feels heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
