Chiltern Healthcare is a well-established and well-respected home care provider in Milton Keynes, working alongside Milton Keynes Council, CHC Continuing Health Care and Milton Keynes Access team. The company offers services for both adults and children in the community with the highest quality of compassionate care.

To guarantee the safety and comfort of clients, Chiltern Healthcare has three registered nurses working in-house. Their presence ensures that clients' safety, dignity, respect, privacy, health, wishes, choices and rights and best interests are always at the forefront of the care services.

The team understands that you as a client are unique and have your own specific desires and needs. That's why Chiltern Healthcare takes the time to listen to and understand your individual preferences, ensuring that your voice is heard and respected. By incorporating your wishes into the care planning process, they create a customised approach that aligns with your goals and values.

Staff members are fully trained, DBS checked and are capable of assisting clients with various activities of daily living on a regular basis. Some of the assistance they provide includes; personal hygiene care, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with shopping and running errands, planning and preparing meals, accompanying clients to medical appointments or social events, offering medication administration and reminders and providing companionship.

I used Chiltern healthcare and i was so pleased the staff were so welcoming and understanding, they catered to all my nans needs while i was away, my nan was in safe and caring hands while i was away, i will definitely be using their services again.

Outstanding Care and Compassion
I cannot thank Chiltern Healthcare enough for the incredible care they provided for my mother. From the very beginning, their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine compassion stood out, making a world of difference in her well-being. Compared to our previous experience,

Chiltern staff were amazing from the get-go. My grandad has suffered a minor stroke and needed extra help in taking care of his meals and medication. From the initial visit to a suitable care plan, they were very accommodating and helpful. Their carers became part of the family and treated my grandad
as if he were their own. Everything was done on time with the utmost professionalism. We will always be thankful for what they've done for us and would highly recommend Chiltern Healthcare.

Two carers, in particular, are the most helpful kind carers that my dad has had since his release from hospital last year. They are compassionate, and respectful and have built up a good rapport with my dad and my mum. I am so grateful to them especially as I live 3 hours away.
These gentlemen have
set the bar for what care should be.
I can't recommend this company enough from assessment to speaking to the office, you are treated with kindness as it is difficult for families to deal with elderly frail in body and mind parents sometimes, and, knowing they are looked after is a huge relief.

The South Regional Manager should be noted, for her outstanding care and attention to my mum. She often went above and beyond and made a real positive difference to my mum's well-being

It may be a cliché to score Chiltern eleven out of ten but that's how we feel! My 104-year-old mum has been compassionately and professionally cared for by them for nearly two years and, in all that time, my brother and I have not had a single cause for comment other than regular praise. His wife used
to be in 'the care world' and would be quick to spot any shortcomings - but there aren't any! When Mum recently spent a few days in hospital, we were worried that we might lose the continuity, but 'the office' liaised with the hospital and was ready to step back in as soon as she was discharged. Sadly, Mum is sinking into short-term memory loss which is challenging but the carers always treat her with sincere dignity, patience and deep appreciation of her difficulties. My brother lives many miles away, and I have my own health problems, so it is highly reassuring that Chiltern are always there doing the job. They relieve the burden of stress that would otherwise be on our shoulders.

Chiltern scores 'top marks' and more! They had provided excellent care for a relation for 18 months when my wife's MS progressed suddenly. Within just a few hours' notice, management had arranged a care package to take care of her until we had a Council Assessment a few days later. The carers are genuinely
caring and treat my wife with sincere dignity and respect when needed. Their 'joviality' keeps her spirits up, which, for her, is a difficult period. They go above and beyond simply 'doing a job' - they are always on the lookout for anything 'unusual' and often prevent problems from starting. They encourage her to drink and are always mindful of 'not wasting' any of the resources (bed sheets etc). They always turn up when they say they will and never forget when we have requested an earlier or later visit to avoid appointment clashes - I only need to tell them once and it 'goes to the memory bank'. And I will never fail to give my wife her tablets as they are 'on to me' every morning!

Right from the start everyone, especially the carers, has been amazing. Trusting someone to help care for a loved one can be difficult for so many reasons. Chiltern has made us feel supported and safe every step of the way. They provide my nan with such amazing care, always treating her with dignity
and respect, but more importantly like a person. She has a new lease of life and I joke with her that she gets more excited to see her carer than me. But that goes to show how incredible they are and the high standard of service they provide. Everyone, from the carers to the office staff, is kind and compassionate and really takes the time to listen. They truly go above and beyond with the service they provide, and I can not thank them enough.

I experienced wonderful support and care for my sister during her end-of-life journey. The professional and loving care from all the carers in my sister's home was excellent and faultless. The response to the changing situation including interaction with other care providers for professional services,
pharmacy, NHS Surgery or specialist nursing was seamless and well managed to an agreed care plan. I would have no hesitation in recommending this organisation.

When my mother-in-law needed help to continue living at home I engaged Chiltern Healthcare to help her with breakfast, lunch and bedtime routine and this has helped enormously as I live too far away to assist regularly. The carers are superb, friendly and chatty and they are cooking some delicious food.
Everything about the company has been efficient and organised and I would highly recommend them to others.
