They greet me cheerfully, asking how I am and wear protective clothing as required. They give help and advice and are willing, or offer, to do anything I need.
It is a comfort to have them coming in to check that I am ok and chat for a while. Company is important to me and I find the local office staff available and helpful.
I will certainly increase my hours with the company when the need arises.
Best wishes.
The carer provided by Helping hands has been excellent and the St. Albans branch has been great at keeping my brother and I up to date with exactly what is happening with my parents, as we both live a long way from home. Many thanks.
Best wishes.
We as a family are very happy with the support and care my husband receives from Helping Hands. The carers that attend are very efficient, careful, reliable and kind. Our local branch manager has been extremely helpful. She has spoken on our behalf to agencies that have provided us with equipment that was much needed for my husband's care. She is also very quick to respond to any questions we have.
What a lovely review. Thank you ever so much! We're so glad to have helped your husband and that you find our carers to be so reliable and kind. I'm also delighted to hear how happy you are with our overall service. We're always here to help! Best wishes.
I do not have the same carer each day and some are better than others. I responded to the average performance but all are at least satisfactory and a few excellent.
The care that my father is receiving has been exceptional in all respects with these difficult times. My father is known to be difficult at times, particularly because of this deafness, but Helping Hands have been able to gain his confidence. The care that Helping Hands are providing is a great comfort to his family who distant from the area. Keep up the good work, you all deserved medals/gongs!
Carers are polite, courteous and caring. They are always willing to help in any way they can. They are always cheerful, which is most welcoming when you see few visitors. They perform the tasks requested and provide a valuable service.
Within the difficult circumstances of Covid-19, I am so glad we set up a contact with Helping Hands ahead of the crisis. Knowing that someone will be seeing my mum each day has been a Godsend. Moreover, even though I know the crisis had made life very difficult for the care industry, Helping Hands have always had time to talk to us and to visit my mum. It is very much appreciated.
Our carer was sympathetic, knowledgeable and very caring. She was also very punctual, and once when the client was agitated, she stayed on after her time was up.
The ladies are always very helpful and kind. They do everything I ask of them and always have a chat with me before leaving and have been brilliant. Thank you.
For the past two years, we have appreciated the care provided by the staff of Helping Hands. From the start of the current crisis, Management has seen to it that all the protective gear is in place and has done a great job keeping up staff morale. They have done everything they can to meet our needs. 'Excellence' is difficult to achieve by anyone but St Albans Helping Hands is coming very close.
The company has been helping me for the last 10 years or so. Originally after I came out of hospital after major hip surgery. Both hips replaced over a period of time. I have had falls and they have been there to help me. They still are a great help to me.
