New to the company only two weeks in and a far friendlier, more helpful, and caring company than Mum's previous company.

Staff well informed of Mum's needs. Office staff were also very helpful with any queries we have had and implemented Mum's physiotherapy changes without issues. Overall so far would highly recommend MyCare Home Services.

We have been indebted to MyCare Home Services ever since my husband came out of the hospital. He had had a stroke, which left him severely disabled, incontinent and unable to converse meaningfully. Initially, he had MyCare carers three times a day, but recently, carers have come once a day to get him up, showered and dressed. He has had several different carers each day, and all have been extremely good, thorough and friendly. The MyCare management has also been very friendly and helpful, always willing to change routines when required.

Overall Experience

We have been using Mycare for the past two years for my mother's care. She has them twice a day, once in the morning to get her up, washed and dressed. They also make her breakfast and administer her medication. She also has them in the evening to make sure she has her evening meal, they also help her to get changed into her nightwear. They also administer her medication for the evening. The carers she has are all really lovely and take such good care of her. They always make sure she has everything she needs, plus they always find the time to have a little chat with her.

We have been using Homecare for my stepfather for just over a year.
The carers have been punctual, friendly and professional. He has a good laugh with some of the carers.
The only downside for my stepfather is that he's slightly deaf and there can be a language barrier problem when the carers have their masks on, which they obviously need to do.

They cover everything that needs doing. Totally trustworthy.

I can't thank MyCare services enough for their help with my mum over the last 2 years plus. Firstly, they were there to provide help and support for both my mum and dad when mum was diagnosed with dementia and needed help getting up and washed dressed. Not only were her physical needs addressed, but both mum and dad enjoyed the carers visits and their cheerful company.
Since dad passed away in March, MyCare provided further help to mum by visiting in the evening as well as morning so that they could prepare an evening meal and help mum get ready for bed if she wished.
All the carers went above and beyond to ensure mum was well looked after, safe and happy.
Everyone who I have dealt with at MyCare from the office staff to carers have been friendly, efficient and caring. Nothing was too much trouble.

Mum has recently had to move in to residential care and we were sad to say goodbye to MyCare as they have been an important part of our lives for quite a while. I would definitely recommend.

A truly outstanding care company. My mother was so very fortunate indeed, to have this wonderful care company look after her in her final years of life in her home. My mother died on 22 November 2022, but the care my mother received was outstanding. The fantastic carers, the office staff and the co-owners, who came into mum's life in March 2020. What a godsend that they did. Two years and eight months was the period of care for mum, under the wing of this outstanding company. My mum was truly lovingly looked after. Mum was transformed under their gentle and loving care. What a life-enhancer this caring company is. Thank you so much to the outstanding carers.

My mother has needed more help after returning home from respite care in a nursing home.
I was a little sceptical at first about carers as our previous providers had been, what I considered, very much below standard.
My view, however, has been completely reversed with the care, kindness, thoroughness and efficiency of the carers supplied by MyCare Home Services.
My mum has one main carer who has been devoted to making my mum's life as comfortable and happy as possible.
Mum has been kept spotlessly clean, medications have never been missed, the house has remained tidy
and her best interests always kept in mind.

Mum is very happy with her and they share a chat and a joke and are becoming friends.

The care and support provided to my mum during her last few months was amazing. The management team went over and above to meet Mum’s requirements and provided a team of amazing carers who were professional, kind, caring and supportive to both Mum and myself during a very difficult time. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them and can never thank them enough. I would highly recommend this care agency.

My mum has been receiving personal care from MyCare since last November. The carers are always polite and friendly and have a chat with Mum as well as give her a wash and attend to her needs. They are reliable and professional and it has been so reassuring to know that if they have any concerns about Mum they will get in touch with me. The communication app is also very useful - it's great to be able to see that a carer has been in and I don't need to keep checking with Mum. I can thoroughly recommend their service.

Great care company, have used since May 2021. They were able to visit at the times Dad wanted, they phone if they are running late so we are able to keep Dad informed, we did have a few issues but these were resolved as soon as we notified them.
All the carers Dad has had are lovely and he is happy, which is great because he didn’t want carers. Staff came and visited before they took over the care and spoke to Dad and asked him what he wanted, which meant he was still in control and had a say in what was happening.

Would highly recommend this company - five star

Discharged from hospital and unable to physically care for myself, I contacted MyCare Home Services. I had used their service before when I needed help with care for my husband and found them to be very professional, caring and reliable. I kept their brochure for future reference. I rang them as soon as I got home and explained what I needed and they came the next day to help me and to work out a care plan. They came every day until my wound was healed and I was ready and confident to continue on my own, a confidence they had helped me to gain. I can’t thank enough the wonderful caring team that MyCare Home Services sent to look after me and speed my recovery.

I don’t need personal care at this stage but it is really helpful to have a daily call to help me prepare my breakfast and ensure I take my pills. Also to tidy up the kitchen and bathroom for me. It is reassuring to know that someone is calling and will help me with all I need. The carer is prompt and reliable.

They have provided great care to my mother following her discharge from the hospital in October. She needed a high level of care, which they were able to supply.

The help they provided was excellent and helped her return to unassisted living.

MyCare Home Services has been providing overnight care for over 2 years for my dad who has advanced Parkinsons. His truly kind, calm and dedicated night carers have developed a wonderful relationship with him. Recently, having needed to urgently increase my father's care package after my mum's stroke, the management of MyCare went above and beyond to meet my parents' new requirements. At very short notice, a new small team of genuinely kind, attentive and hardworking day carers stepped in. The management are always available and in constant communication, determined to provide the best service they possibly can. I do not know how we would have coped as a family without all the amazing MyCare staff! I would wholeheartedly recommend this professional, highly reliable company without hesitation.

MyCare Home Services Ltd has been providing carers for my Mum, who has dementia, for more than a year. Over that time her condition has deteriorated and there have been moments of crisis when MyCare Home has responded brilliantly, sending carers at very short notice and going above and beyond to make sure she is safe and comforted. So many of the carers have that special quality of seeming genuinely to care for their clients and of finding thoughtful ways to make their lives more rewarding. Overall, they are flexible and trustworthy, with a kind and personal approach. Highly recommended.

Overall Experience

MyCare Home Services Ltd have been visiting my dear friend for over a year now, increasing visits as required. My friend suffers from Alzheimer’s with Primary Progressive Aphasia, a rare form of the disease where gradually she loses the ability to speak. Throughout this time she has received amazing care from all, with her progression they have adapted their time with her accordingly. We could not have asked for more caring staff and to see her face light up when they come in is heartwarming.
