Mum fought against the idea of having carers but MyCare managed to make it work. The management team we dealt with were sympathetic and sensitive and the carers were generally reliable, kind and friendly. Mum could be pretty challenging on bad days and to anyone who wasn't really caring so it was great to see she got on well with most of the MyCare team.
MyCare were more expensive than the default Social Services/NHS agencies but I definitely felt they were worth it and I was comfortable entrusting mum's care to them. Without the quality of care they provided mum may well have declined quicker or may not have been able to stay at home with the family.

My mother has carers visiting her twice a day. The carer gives my mother her medication which has meant she can live in her own home. The carers spend time with my mother chatting with her about her day/ interests and family. This company is very beneficial to my mother. I find it easy to contact head office and speak to someone even out of hours as somebody is always available on the phone. My wife's health had deteriorated over a long period of time, and she came under the Hospice at Home care organised by the Hospice. They assigned My Care Home Services to attend to my wife four times a day, which initially was probably too much. But as her health declined more rapidly, it became a real source of comfort for me to know that help was available, and I looked forward to having caring, competent people looking after her. She became very familiar with the girls and knew quite a few of their names. They were all great.

My nan has been a client since December of 2023. I can't say enough how lovely the staff and carers have been to her. Many of her carers go above and beyond to make sure that she has the best experience possible. Everyone is polite and considerate. Anytime an issue has come up, the situation has always been corrected promptly. Communication is excellent. My nan has never been comfortable with strangers in her home, but many of the carers she has , have become like friends to her. It's comforting to know how at ease most of the girls make her feel. She looks forward to her favourites every time she is going to see them. You can't go wrong with this company. You can expect high standards of care and kindness with thus company.

His carers were kind and courteous and undertook a number of tasks which he would have found increasingly difficult as he got older. They helped him by keeping his flat clean and tidy, preparing his breakfast, washing up, making his bed and maintaining good standards of hygiene in the kitchen and bathroom.
They also provided companionship each day and also kept me informed if they had any concerns about his welfare.

Asif is an experienced oncology nurse who has served in NHS and Private Healthcare for more than 15 years. He is an accredited recruiter with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation ( REC), ensuring Quality Assurance according to ISO 9001: 2015 standards for Quality Management Systems.
He works alongside the Registered Manager to ensure the safety of the services and overall performance.
Cristiana Silva is our CQC Registered Manager for the regulated activity of Personal Care. She has 11 years of experience in the healthcare profession.
She is responsible for the overall management of our services. She ensures that services are delivered in a person-centred approach and that priority is given to Clients' choices, likes, dislikes and preferences. She ensures that Mycare Home Services' organisational priorities are met in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Standards.
Monika is our CQC registered Manager for the regulated activity of personal care. She has 12 years of experience working in social care. Monika started working in social care as a care worker and has worked her way up to a management role. Monika speaks fluent Polish. Monika is responsible for the overall management of our services.

My name is David Hunt.
My background & experience is in residential and Live-in care with over 20 years. I have worked as a Deputy Manager for a mental health residential home for 8 more than 8 years. I reduced working hours due to personal commitments at home. I have been working for ambulance transport for the last 4 years. I also run a local charity football club for youths this has been my hobby for the last 11 years.
Bethany joined us originally as a carer, after being with us for 3 months she was promoted as our Care Coordinator. Bethany conducts the weekly rotas and liaises with the carers on a daily basis. Before she started her career in care, she worked with children with SEN needs for 7 years. In her free time she likes to go out for a meal and walk her dog.
Michelle has been working at MyCare for just over a year as a recruitment and compliance officer.
Her day is mainly spent speaking to applicants, experienced or not, taking them through the process until they are compliant and can go out in our community and help make a difference. It is a lot of paperwork, but I really enjoy building relationships and hope the carers can come to me for support and advice anytime.
Being a Mum to an energetic 10 years old, I don't get a lot of spare time, but I do enjoy a movie and meal out when possible.
