Folkestone Home Care is an independent home care and support service for people wishing to remain independent and live in their own home. At the foundation of the Company are four core principles: Honesty, Integrity, Respect and Accountability.

Folkestone Home Care is also determined to ensure staff retention through valuing the caregivers by training them above and beyond what is legally required and taking care of them so that they enjoy being at work because they are the most important members of the team.

This ensures continuity for the client. The caregivers are the eyes and ears at the front line and their input is invaluable to maintaining and improving client well being. The dedicated classroom and practical room ensure that the caregivers' training remains in line with the clients' care needs without undue delay.

They come at exactly the time we have asked for and never late. We have the same carer except on her day off.

Have experienced very comprehensive care whatever the need is at the time. Detailed analysis of the underlying situation and working with the clients to improve the quality of their life. The same carer has been involved throughout with extensive back up from the care manager in the initial stages while
the needs of the client are being met and ascertained. Also, the care manager has worked closely with the family in all the decisions and problem-solving.

It was with good fortune that we came across the manager from Folkestone Home Care to assist with the care of my father who is now in his late eighties.


My father likes to remain independent at home but needs assistance with his routine, his carer is the ideal person in this role being able to help

with every aspect of his well being.


His carer has a cheerful and amiable disposition which has endeared her to my father and us, her positive and practical approach makes sure the day to day issues are covered then his carers follows this up with the sourcing of equipment and materials to aid my father’s health and quality of life.


My father's carer is in constant contact with advice and suggestions which is of considerable help to the family and to make sure Father’s best care and attention is achieved.

I contacted Folkestone Home Care on the Wednesday and an assessment was done on Thursday and care started on the Friday, a very prompt and efficient service.
On explaining my Mum's needs, I was told only 3 carers would visit Mum due to her needs as she needed to get to know the carers providing the
care and not see different carers each time, she needs continuity, photographs were provided so my Mum can recognise them.
Individualized care is provided and my Mum's needs are understood and call times adjusted to accommodate this.
Folkestone Home Care provide the personal touches you would provide for yourself.
I am kept informed by phone, text or email and will be contacted immediately of any urgent situations.
Folkestone Home Care are providing outstanding care to my Mum, they go above and beyond of what I was expecting. Not only are they supporting my Mum but me as well, I'm reassured my Mum is cared for with dignity and respect.
