This service is BEYOND excellent. They take such good care of my mother and pay attention to the smallest details. My mother said to me, "I feel so happy knowing they are around' They are timely with responding to emails and enquiries. The manager is wonderful. The carers are exactly that, caring and professional. Mum was so reluctant about the idea of carers but now she's seen this wonderful service, she is so happy. Cannot recommend this company highly enough. The manager took care of so much stuff in one day. My siblings and I are scattered all over the world and it is so reassuring that mum is this well taken care of.

I looked around for a home care service 12 months ago when I needed help with lunchtime care for my father. I lucked upon Folkestone Home Care & have been extremely happy with the service they provide. They do their utmost to keep the same carers, so Dad gets to know them & vice versa. Nothing is too much trouble & all the carers I have met are lovely, caring people. Dad was reluctant to allow carers into his home initially but now looks forward to seeing someone at lunchtime, amazing!!

Folkestone Home Care provided an excellent home care service for my mother for 3 years before the deterioration of her dementia meant that she needed to transition into residential care in October 2025. I live outside of the UK and the manager and her team have been very effective and efficient in coordinating mother's healthcare requirements with her GP and the wider NHS service. The devotion to my mother's needs has been quite extraordinary and at times of crisis when I couldn't be present, I was always kept fully appraised of the evolving situation and whether I needed to travel to the UK. I have 100% confidence in the reliability and expertise of the care manager and her team. The care team are marvellous and every one of them established an easy rapport with my mother and performed their duties in an empathetic and professional way. Choosing a home care provider is not an easy thing to do. I couldn't recommend Folkestone Home Care more highly.

She had nursed my father in 2019 and she and her team built up marvellous rapport with him,it was through this fortunate link that we were able again to rely on her support in a time of need,we are deeply indebted to the manager and her team on every count.

In 2023 I found myself trying to make a very difficult decision, as my elderly mother was becoming more frail and needed more help and with that came the realisation that I couldn't look after her totally on my own any longer. My mother wished to remain living in her own home, and rightly so as it has been her home for over seventy years and holds many memories of my late father and our family growing up. So I knew I had to find care for her at home, I made many phone calls and did my research but it's a daunting task. One of my calls included Folkestone Home care and I knew immediately by their response and that first conversation I'd found the care team that were going to help me navigate this next stage of life with my mother. I can honestly say I made the right decision they are all an incredible team of girls the time they give too my mother is amazing not only the physical and personal care she requires but they really care for her with love and respect.

While we were away in India for 6 months my father-in-law was admitted to hospital for an operation, he was then sent home. The manager visited him out of hours as she had concerns and called 999. He was readmitted with other health issues. She made sure that we were kept up to date with what was happening and staff visited him while he was in hospital, and went above and beyond to keep us updated, sending us emails at every step and we were truly grateful. I can not rate this company, the Manager and the staff highly enough. They are all amazing.

I have nothing but praise for the manager and her team. Since asking her to put a care plan together for my elderly mother in August she has not only delivered but exceeded beyond any expectations. She has come up with solutions time and time again with her team. She keeps me informed almost daily and when there have been concerns her attention to detail has been incredible. Myself and my two brothers can not believe the level of care she provides and in our opinion goes above and beyond. It is also testimony to her dedication in providing a service fit for purpose.

Even my mother at 92 who was with Adult Services as a manager with KCC for many years and many years ago appreciates the level of care she receives now she is on 'the other side'.

I wouldn't be able to cope without the carers arriving each morning to wash and dress my husband as he is now frail and has dementia. They are very kind and understanding and I would recommend Homecare.

Very pleased with the service provided, it is nice to know the times of the carer's visit. One of the biggest benefits is having my feet and back properly washed and ointment applied as I was not able to do this efficiently myself. I have found it helpful to discuss with the manager potential care provision post-operatively having regard to the fact that I am living alone.

The manager and the care team at Folkestone Home Care have been tremendously helpful in being the support I needed for my elderly mum. As I live abroad, I'm unable to be with my mum and help out with all the things that invariably crop up week to week as she struggles to maintain her independence. Not only has the manager been excellent at organising my mum's day-to-day help but also rises to the challenge in the larger tasks that require careful planning. There have also been emergencies, and at a moment's notice, she jumps to and again excels at organising and communicating with all involved. She has a solid knowledge of medicine and is able to organise medication, keep excellent records, and converse with a medical team on these matters. I'm very thankful to the manager and her team for all they have done.

From the first day Folkestone Home Care started looking after our 89-year-old friend we have all been more than impressed with the high level of care provided. The manager and her girls are brilliant - they get on well with all of us in the house and there is always lots of laughter. They have a really professional approach to personal care and supervise occupational therapy exercises which is a load off our minds and means it is not us nagging all the time! We know the manager is always ready to help and is just a phone call away. This has been proved twice in emergency situations of late. The manager and her team are giving us our life back and care for the well-being of all of us in the house. We cannot recommend Folkestone and the team highly enough. They have exceeded our expectations and become friends while providing the highest standard of care and support in the most professional way.

The manager has a very kind and caring manner with a friendly smile. She has been very good at reassuring my elderly parents that she and the team will look after them and that they are in safe hands. She is very efficient, organised and full of advice even before the team started attending to care for my father. The manager has listened to our concerns and has managed the timing of the visits to fit in with my mother’s wishes. Adjusting to strangers going into your home can be tricky and sometimes quite stressful but she has reassured my parents and made them comfortable with the situation.

Folkestone Home Care have been providing home care for my 95-year-old mother at our flat. My mother is in terminal decline and her medical care is palliative. The team is characterised by its compassion, professionalism and love. Every team member has performed faultlessly and delivered sustained care of the highest quality. They are angels.

Absolutely recommend Folkestone Home Care. I had to find urgent home care for my mum with dementia, due to her partner passing away. The manager came out to meet us straight away and was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Carers were in place and a rota drawn up within a few days. Really impressed with the care provided to my mum by the lovely girls, coming up with ideas for lunch plans, playing the guitar for her and being flexible with us needing cover for her appointments and lunches. The carer even went with my mum to the hospital when she was found to be unwell one morning. Definitely glad we chose this company.
