Carers have been visiting Mum for approx 6 weeks and it has had an enormous positive impact on all our lives. Excellent, caring, friendly and professional care for Mam and greater peace of mind for Dad and the rest of our family. Extremely kind care team, nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely staff looked after my Grandma whilst in care and had good service as well and the carers were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend to your relatives as they will get well looked after. Thank you.
Thank you for your review and kind words. It was a pleasure to care for your grandma.
Care Matters Homecare provided excellent care for my nan. The carers were reliable, friendly and professional. There was a core team who my nan loved and it was reassuring know the same carers where attending her calls. For the many months, they made her life at home less lonely and allowed her to remain where she wanted to be as long as possible. The office staff were friendly and sorted out extra services for my nan, which helped greatly and took extra pressure of us as a family. I would recommend Care Matters.
Thank you for your kind comments. It has been our greatest pleasure to care for your nan. Our team are fantastic and will be delighted to hear what a difference they made to your nan and the wider family.
A carer advised using a finger toothbrush something. My Dad didn't feel comfortable doing due to the biting risk. My Dad seeked advice from medical professionals who recommended that this should under no circumstances be done. However, when I contacted management about it they stated my Father had agreed to buying one. This was a lie, why would my father go against the medical professionals advice?
Both myself and other professionals have addressed concerns with management who stated that they would inform head office and they would observe. Nothing happened.
We are sorry that you and your family have had a negative experience with our company recently. Having cared for your mum for many months we are keen to fully understand what has gone wrong in recent weeks and as such are in the process of completing an internal investigation, once this is complete we will respond to you with our findings accordingly.
Whenever I visit the Care Matters staff are always very cheerful and nothing is too much trouble, they are always smiling and Dad is delighted with the service and care they are giving him.
And I believe this gives Meadowfield House a nice environment for the residents to be part of.
The care team is fantastic and they are always smiling.
The care coordinator/manager manages a fantastic team of staff and she comes across as very experienced and shows a lot of companionship and enthusiasm I believe this benefits her work colleagues and the residents.
Without Meadowfield House / Care Matters my dad would not be able to live independently, being supported where he needs it with personal tasks such as washing or taking medication, he has the full package.
Thank you for your kind words, your positive feedback will be shared with the team who will be delighted to hear how well-supported your Dad feels. Thanks again.
Highly recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our service. It's good to hear that you feel supported by your care staff. Thanks again.
Staff are excellent, respectful. We have no concerns. Meadowfield has a lovely, warm atmosphere. My mother is very happy.
Thanks Susan for your positive feedback. It is great to hear that your mum is happy with the service provided, we'll ensure that this is shared with the team.
I think all the carers are great, they do anything I ask them to. I don't think I could do without them now. Nothing is too much for them to do.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete a review of our service. Our staff pride themselves on doing a good job and it's great to hear what a difference they make.
Since April 2023 the carers have been professional, knowledgable and highly capable throughout. My experience has also been extremely positive. They are friendly and I have the same regular carers. My meals have always been prepared the same, despite their varied levels of experience and ages. Even the very few times there were emergency cover staff, everything went just as smoothly. They demonstrated that they are all equally capable. All the staff have been and are very helpful, this included bringing items that I had run out of, amongst other small tasks. I have had great conversations with all of them throughout my care. I have been reassured since my first visit and would recommend them. Being a wheelchair user, it has been an easy process.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete a review. We appreciate the positive feedback highlighting the quality of service provided. Thanks again.
