The carers have been very helpful and courteous.
Mum had received amazing care from all of her Safe Harbour carers for over 5 years, she always spoke highly and very fondly of them. They made our family's lives easier and we knew that mum was looked after so well. Sadly mum passed away recently but was happy to have stayed in her own home. This was primarily down to her care from Safe Harbour. Thank you.
The Safe Harbour carers really took the time to get to know my auntie, who is elderly with server learning difficulties. They encouraged her to help with domestic tasks, like helping make her lunch and to continue her independence at home as much as possible. My auntie couldn't wait to see her carers each day, and they became her family. An amazing team, thank you for always being so caring and understanding.

I have responsibility for the clinical governance of three services under the Platinum Care Solutions Group, which includes Safe Harbour Home Care Limited, based in Petersfield. I am a registered Manager for this service, my qualifications include a diploma in Management Studies, a level 3 in dementia care, and my managers' award level 5 in health and social care, amongst other qualifications including the safeguarding of adults etc, I have vast experience, in sheltered housing management, supported living, telecare, and domiciliary care provision.
I am Mel, your deputy manager at Safe Harbour, overseeing the dedicated North Team. My role is multifaceted and revolves around ensuring the well-being and safety of our service users and caregivers.
One of my primary responsibilities is to conduct comprehensive assessments for all new service users.
These assessments enable me to create care plans tailored to their specific needs. This includes addressing medication requirements, conducting risk assessments, and planning nutrition tasks to ensure safe and effective support for our service users.
In addition to my assessment duties, I am here to provide unwavering support to our care staff. My goal is to ensure they feel confident and well-equipped to deliver exceptional care within the community. I also collaborate closely with our coordinator and other office staff, offering my assistance with care calls whenever needed.
Above all, what truly matters to me is the happiness and safety of our service users and caregivers. Their well-being is at the core of everything I do as a Team Leader at Safe Harbour.
I'm Sinead, and I proudly serve as the Care Coordinator for both the North and South teams. I've recently completed a decade of dedicated service with our organisation.
In my role, I handle the intricate task of coordinating schedules across a wide service area. My top priority is ensuring that our clients' needs are met, which means meticulously planning visit times to accommodate various requirements, such as day centre attendance and critical medication schedules. I also work closely with our care teams, taking into account their availability, especially when some staff have limited working hours.
