I’m Charlotte, the Registered Manager at Safe Harbour, and I’m proud to lead a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care within our community.

My role is to oversee the overall management of the service, ensuring that the people we support receive safe, respectful and consistent care that meets their individual needs and preferences. I work closely with our management team and care staff to maintain high standards, promote best practice and ensure that the service continues to develop and improve.

A key part of my role is supporting and developing our staff. I believe that a well-supported and valued team is essential to delivering exceptional care. I encourage open communication, teamwork and a culture where staff feel confident to ask questions, share ideas and raise any concerns.

I also work closely with the people we support, their families and other professionals to ensure that their voices are heard and that their care remains focused around what matters most to them. I am committed to promoting dignity, independence, choice and respect in everything we do.

Above all, my priority as Registered Manager is to ensure that Safe Harbour is a safe, welcoming and positive environment for everyone. I’m Mel, the Deputy Manager at Safe Harbour, where I support and oversee our dedicated North Team. My role is centred around ensuring the safety, wellbeing and happiness of both the people we support and our care staff.

One of my key responsibilities is completing comprehensive assessments for new service users. This allows me to develop personalised care plans that reflect each individual’s needs, preferences and circumstances. This includes considering medication requirements, completing appropriate risk assessments and planning nutritional support to ensure care is delivered safely and effectively.

As Deputy Manager, I also provide ongoing guidance, encouragement and support to our care staff. I want our team to feel confident, valued and fully equipped to provide the highest standard of care within the community.

I work closely with our Coordinator and wider office team to ensure the service runs smoothly and that support is available whenever it is needed. I’m also happy to step in and assist with care calls when required, working alongside the team to maintain continuity and quality of care.

Above all, my priority is the wellbeing, dignity and happiness of the people we support, alongside the welfare of our dedicated care staff. I’m Emma, a Team Leader at Safe Harbour, where I’m dedicated to supporting both our care team and the people we support. My role is focused on helping to ensure that high standards of care are maintained while creating a positive, safe and supportive environment for everyone.

As Team Leader, I provide guidance and encouragement to our care staff, helping them feel confident and supported in their roles. I work closely with the team to promote good communication, teamwork and professionalism, ensuring that everyone understands the importance of delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

I also play an important role in supporting the day-to-day needs of the people we support, helping to ensure their care is delivered safely and respectfully. I believe in getting to know each individual, understanding their preferences and making sure their dignity, independence and wellbeing are always respected.

I work closely with the Deputy Manager, Coordinator and wider office team to help ensure the service runs smoothly and that our care staff have the support they need.
