Overall Experience
This was our first experience of needing to arrange care which was required following my mum's stay in hospital and subsequent dementia diagnosis.
Having lived independently, albeit with some help from family prior to going into hospital, mum was initially reluctant to accept that she needed help. However over the last few months she has accepted the support that Platinum Care's Hayling Island branch offer her and now looks forward to their daily visits.
The visits also provide me with peace of mind that mum is being well looked after and I have always found the carers and everyone in the office helpful and supportive when I have spoken to them.

I'm happy to recommend Platinum Care.

Overall Experience

I have been with Platinum Care, Home Care, on Hayling Island for about 6 weeks so far. I truly cannot praise them enough for the care they have provided me. From first contact, making the arrangements, I have been treated to a high level of friendly professionalism and respect.

Wellbeing is at the heart of their care, ensuring what they do is what I want doing, always checking with me and assuming nothing. What they do, is done to a high standard every visit.

I am treated as a person and not a number or a burden. Nothing is too much for them. They genuinely each deserve 10 stars for being super carers.

I am gutted (though thrilled) that PCC has now found me my forever home in Portsmouth and in a few more weeks I will move. I am hoping the Porchester team will be able to take over and continue the excellent service provided by the group.

My elderly mum has had care provided by Acre Care for several months now, having transferred from a different care provider.
My experience is that Acre Care are a far more professional company than the previous provider.
Overall, the carers have been very kind to mum and always try to be as helpful as possible.
I am very grateful for everything they do to help.
We had a few issues, mainly at the start of the service, but the registered manager, Monika, has been great. She always acknowledges any concerns and either provides an explanation, or addresses the issue. Marzena, the care coordinator has also been really helpful.

I would recommend Acre Care.

Acre Care have consistently been there for my Mum who is quite vulnerable now and suffers with anxiety. Monika is great, she always listens to feedback in a productive way, she is never defensive and makes changes straight away if needed. They are kind and professional and Mum is now in a good routine. Particular praise for Katie who has been so brilliant. My Mum takes a long time to trust people but straight from the start Katie was so kind, fun and treated Mum with such dignity that she took to the carers much quicker. Thanks for all your hard work it is greatly appreciated.

Overall Experience

Previous years I worked as care support worker for 27 years, I know what excellence is 100% of what I gave and the care staff that meet my needs give excellent care and respect to me, with understanding and patience which is important to anybody who needs friendly dedicated carer, to visit when the carer time is finished, make sure with in the time of going no obstacles in the way of hazards, to the client falling and everything is safe and I receive regular phone calls from the local manager. Am I happy with the service and how I am which pleases me to receive a phone call that the company cares about their clients, makes a huge difference to me as a very satisfied customer and client.

Monika and her team at Acre Care have been SO kind to our mum and really make a difference - particularly when she's struggling or feeling low. They make her feel special by involving her with conversation and stories; they also treat her with professional dignity when personal care is needed. There have been a couple of occasions where individual carers (with the support of the management team) have gone above and beyond in order to help mum feel cared for.

Overall Experience

My dad has been receiving personal care from this company for a while now, and the difference it has made to his daily life is incredible. The carers are patient, respectful, and genuinely kind - they treat him like a person, not a task.

Communication has been excellent, and they always go the extra mile to make sure he's comfortable and supported. It's such a relief knowing he's in safe hands. Truly grateful for the whole team.

Absolutely amazing care providers. The level of care is outstanding. All carers are extremely kind, helpful, caring and compassionate and go above and beyond every time. Personal beliefs are always respected. The carers don't just perform tasks, they truly listen and engage. At the end of every visit the carer will ask my mother if there's anything else she requires. The carers are always very happy, cheerful, well spoken and polite and engage with us as well as my mother. My mother is always pleased to see these lovely carers. They genuinely make her feel happy and relaxed. I can contact management any time of day/evening and get a response pretty much straight away! Nothing is ever a problem! They bend over backwards for us. Thank you for your ongoing care.

My husband became bed bound with demetia in March 2025. I had been using Platinum before that to wash and shave him. I moved them up to four visits a day and also live in care to enable me to have holidays and make monthly trips to London to the ballet. With the live in care they also cared for my elderley lurcher Moley, who loved them.
At all times the carers were punctual, efficient whilst always caring. He was always happy to see them. They also provided a much needed liason with the community nurses, the doctors surgery and an equipment services company.
This all enabled me to keep him at home until he died in January 2026. A carer was with me when he died and she efficiently dealt with getting the community nurse to certify the death and the undertakers.
Altogether an efficient and cost effective service in difficult circumstances.

I could not have asked for more and I always recommend them when asked.

Having moved from another Care provider to PC last year, I have had faith restored in the provision of care at home for my
Parent.i can honestly say with hand on heart that Platinum Care continue to provide first class support not only to my mum, but also reassurance to me.
Zoe has been absolutely amazing in ensuring that every little aspect of the needs of my
Mother's care is covered at ALL times - no aspect is too small and any shortfall has been covered promptly.

Her care team are superb and bring attention and any concerns or urgent needs to my attention.

I feel much more relaxed knowing that Platinum Care are there for us, but more importantly for my mum.

My brother has received excellent professional care since March 2025 following a long spell in hospital.
We are always informed if there is a delay in the carer arriving.
Especially grateful to be made aware if any change in his health that may need further investigation with GP.

All his carers are friendly and helpful, especially Zoe who attends Adrian most frequently.

Excellent onboarding approach in giving us what we were after making it so easy to set up. So refreshing when you are struggling with everything else.
