We are very, very pleased with the service we're receiving from Routes Healthcare (Kirklees). A professional, caring, respectful team who are always polite and helpful. We would 100% recommend Route. The app is an amazing tool, where we can see who and when staff will be attending and what care has been put into place at each visit. We wouldn't be able to manage without Routes. Thank you.
I just wanted to thank all those who cared for my dad during the last 3 weeks of his life. Everyone who looked after him did so compassionately and respectfully. I would like to say a special thank you to Mel & Naomi who went above & beyond for him, and were also there for myself and my brother towards the end when it got emotionally tough for us both. Thank you.
My partner who passed away in January 2026 only received support for 10 days. I found them very accommodating as some day he was to ill to have any help and they were very flexible with visits. The staff were all professional in there approach to dealing with him and myself.
My mum was suffering from terminal cancer and was unable to get out of bed. We had carers coming in 4 times a day to help with mum making her comfortable in bed and washing her. We had one carer who went above and beyond his role washing and drying my mums hair for her. He will always have a special place in our hearts for making mum look her best in her last few weeks of her life. My mum passed away suddenly and sooner than we thought but we would like to say a big thank you to the carers who helped to care for mum.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us, especially during what must be an incredibly difficult time. Our deepest condolences go to you and your family on the loss of your Mum.
It means the world to us to know that our carers were able to bring some comfort and dignity to her...
I am most grateful to Routes Heathcare (Kirklees) for the service provided to me, a service user with a terminal cancer diagnosis, in slow but steady decline. My needs are quite limited at the moment but continue to increase as the cancer progresses. Every carer visiting me from Routes Healthcare is helpful, compassionate and understanding and with whom I have struck up great friendships. I cannot recommend Routes Healthcare (Kirklees) highly enough. Please keep up the good work.
The carers from Routes Healthcare are absolutely amazing. They help me a lot with my morning routine. Also, every carer is a breath of fresh air in the morning. I feel that I can talk to them easily without feeling stressed out. I would truly be lost without them. There is nothing for them to improve on as they are excellent. Routes Healthcare will definitely get a huge thumbs up from me and I would recommend them to anyone that needs care at home.
We started care for our 99 yo mother some weeks ago. At first we had different carers in and they were fine but my mother was confused at all different faces coming in. Then two staff members and my mother (and us) really like them so I requested them to be our regular carers. They really lift our mother's spirit and are very respectful and thorough. I think they should train all your carers in future! Pay them more too!! The only negatives that when I call the phone line is really terrible and I can't hear what is being said.
Thank you for your feedback. I am glad we found regular carers that have connect with Mum. I will ensure this feedback is passed on.
Every carer without exception, continue to give me excellent assistance and advice ,and I would specifically like to mention one in particular ,who is a fine example for all. Please convey my continued thanks to everyone at Routes , especially to those fine folk who visit .
Thank you for the lovely feedback! We will make sure this is passes on to all involved
My husband came out of hospital March 2024 when two carers came along to look after him. Two staff members along with my own family I have to say they were fantastic from day one to the end of my husbands life myself and my family were very grateful i do no for a fact my husband loved them to pieces they were part of my family and still are today. Yours faithfully.
Thank you so much for the feedback. Its wonderful to hear how much your husband connected with the carers
Regular carers superb on their days, when they do not come girls are good but timings terrible. This needs to be addressed, it's not fair us waiting over 1-2 hours till they come. On the whole A-OK.
My brother and I took it in turns to live in with Dad when he was discharged from hospital for palliative care at home. Routes came out to assess his needs and provided 4 visits a day to help with washing, going to the toilet (commode) and medication. Towards the end they reassessed his needs and provided two carers per visit. The staff were caring (special mention to the very lovely carer), listened to Dad's wishes and treated him with dignity and respect. They helped us to make Dad's last few weeks more comfortable - thank you!
We're really pleased that we were able to support your dad, especially during his last few weeks when comfort matters most. We'll be sure to pass on your wonderful feedback to our carers also :)
All staff who came to care for my husband were friendly, sociable and compassionate. Staff attended promptly and provided care efficiently taking into account my husband's needs and condition. They provided support at a difficult time.
Thank you for your kind review, we're really pleased to hear our care team were able to support you and your husband. :)
On behalf of our family, a very BIG THANK YOU to Dads care team.....
What wonderful words for our care team - we're so proud of them! Your feedback means everything so thank you very much :)
During an incredibly difficult time, we were reassured by the level of care our father received. Our father was a very private & independent man and the staff respected this. Two of the ladies who came often really made a difference & we can't thank them enough for how they made our father feel and making it as comfortable as possible for him. This care & effort went a long away & we will forever be grateful. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words about our carers, we really love hearing how much they were able to help your family during this time. We'll be sure to pass on your feedback.
The staff are always prompt and friendly, and the regular carers always keep me or my brothers informed of any changes or concerns that they may have
My father has a good relationship with the regular carers and they in turn are attentive to his needs
I would definitely say that the key service satisfaction is having 'regular carers' .
Thank you for your feedback and kind words, we really appreciate it. All the best for your family :)
I have a good relationship with the staff that come to do my daughters care, especially two carers in particular,t hey go above and beyond for her .also they include myself and my family in all they do which I very much appreciate
Thank you so much for your kind words. We'll be sure to pass this on to your two carers who support your daughter and your family. It's always lovely to hear about the difference they make.
My mum only had carers for a very short time, however they came 4 times a day. On all visits the staff were nothing short of amazing with mum. They showed compassion whilst ensuring she received the best care possible. I know she really appreciated the care she received. Such is the friendliness of the carers it was easy for me to talk to them and we quickly built up a rapport and I hope they felt welcome in my mums home. Thank you for everything you did in her final days, and keep up the amazing work.
They were all amazing. The care that was given was excellent. They were all respectful and empathetic to our situation right up until the very end.
Please pass on our love and regards to all the carers who helped us through the last few weeks of my Dad's life. Xx

My journey started with Routes in January 2023 and since then, I’ve progressed into the role of Registered Manager. Each step has taught me a lot about what clients and carers really need. I believe in a person-centered approach, which means every individual gets the care and attention they truly deserve.
I focus on creating a warm and welcoming environment for both our clients and our amazing team. I’m all about building strong relationships and making sure everyone feels supported. I also prioritize training and development for our staff so we can all provide the best care possible.
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me watching endless amounts of football! I’m really excited to keep making a positive impact and to help us all thrive together!
