The group has gone from strength to strength providing home care to the elderly and vulnerable in South Suffolk and North East Essex.

The philosophy is to support people in the best way to meet their individual needs. The team of Care Specialists visit people in their own homes to provide a friendly face, have a chat and support that person as they need. This has been all the more important for each individual during the last year with so many unable to leave their homes or have visits from loved ones.

It has fostered good relationships with the local authority and Ipswich Hospital and have a reputation for a flexible approach to care that supports the individual as well as each member of the team.

The company continues to grow and flourish and is in the process of expanding to provide more care and support to more people, so are looking for new staff to join the team.

The group also cares about the development of their own staff, as well as those workers in other companies and sectors, and finished work on their purpose built training room and facilities in 2021.

The group can train anyone in First Aid, Moving and Handling, The Care Certificate, Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Infection Prevention and Control, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and Risk Management. The recent purchase of a GERT suit also helps people to understand how it feels to suffer from various conditions such as movement limitations, eye and ear problems, limb stiffness and other conditions too.

All aspects of care, administration and supervision have been excellent. It is reassuring to be able to communicate with the office and obtain information. Carers are kind and very supportive.

My wife has dementia problems, does not walk, or see very well and has We Simply Care people in the mornings to get her up and as late as possible (around 9pm) to get her into bed. 10 pm would be better but unrealistic. They are a small independent local firm, which is brilliant for us. Their staff
are also fairly local, all-female for my wife, all pleasant, mostly youngish, well trained, courteous to both of us, and very good with my wife. It would be ridiculous to think that we could improve on them.
