My mum had been in hospital for 7-months and needed live-in care, which felt very daunting. When I looked at the Eximius website, I sensed that we would be in good hands. My telephone inquiry only confirmed that sense - the team responded quickly and efficiently. We had a telephone meeting with the manager, who was clearly very experienced, knowledgeable and cemented further the sense that Eximius was the answer to our prayers. The live-in companion is simply amazing - very experienced, warm, kind, caring with a great sense of humour. Nothing is too much trouble for her, and we couldn't be without her. The Eximius team follow up with us regularly and are always available to answer our questions and provide reassurance. I simply can't recommend Eximius highly enough - they are simply excellent, and deserve their CQC Outstanding rating in spades! Thank you, Eximius!
Eximius were recommended to me whilst my father was convalescing at my home after being taken ill at New Year. We quickly realised that he would need live-in care going forward and the manager and her team at Eximius managed to interview my father and to have a carer in place within four days, allowing him to return to his own home as soon as he was ready. We cannot fault the care that he is now receiving and how content and well he seems to be since this intervention. My father's carer allows him the independence he has always enjoyed living in his own home, whilst my family and I are secure in the knowledge that he now receives his medication on time, gets regular meals at the correct time, in particular a hot evening meal, no longer has to worry about any housekeeping and, most important of all, has 24/7 company and someone to call out to if he needs assistance. Five stars - we could not wish for better from Eximius!
The carer gave the medication and fed mum and ensured all her personal care was given until the end of her life. Thank you for looking after mum nothing was too much trouble. It was a tremendous responsibility and a lot of hard work but the carer gave her best.
I have been extremely impressed with the Eximius Team, the recruitment manager I spoke to was very helpful. She answered all my questions regarding the care that would be put in place for my Grandmother. The team acted quickly and ensured that they were always available to contact me should I have any worries, worries were certainly not on my mind knowing that the Eximius team were there to care and help at all costs. I would recommend this care provider to all my friends and family should they need similar care treatment. Thank you!
I highly recommend and rate Eximius. This is a care company that always goes above and beyond to ensure they meet and exceed the needs of their clients, carers and staff, and wellbeing is always a priority. They have taken COVID extremely seriously, and do everything they can to ensure clients feel safe in their own homes. The recruitment manager has a vigorous recruitment process, which allows them to match carers to clients' requirements perfectly, allowing a smooth handover.
First made contact with the Office Manager who was very helpful with my initial inquiry and very polite and courteous with my problem. She then arranged a phone call with the MD who again was very polite and knowledgeable with what was required of my needs and helped me go through the setting up the care for my father.
Eximius Live-in Care Ltd have been an excellent service provider. The staff they have supplied for the care of my mother have been of a consistently excellent standard. If any issues arise, Eximius have always responded with care and speed. I feel very supported and my mother has always been well looked after. Whenever I speak to them I always feel that they are extremely professional.
I thought the managing director, manager and team were great. They lived up to the sales pitch and the care my mother received was excellent. No hesitation in recommending Eximius Live-in Care. Never did find out what Eximius means, maybe next time.
Eximius means "Exceptional" !! Sounds like you would agree! Thank you
Eximius were excellent when my mum came out of hospital. They listened to me and understood all mine and Mum's reservations. The carer was fantastic and now Mum relies on her, she couldn't do without care now. It’s made me so much more reassured about Mum's care, it’s great.
The managing director and her team couldn’t do more to help my mother with the care that she needed. They were a great support to the whole family as well. Thank you for all your support and understanding. I would highly recommend Eximius Live-in Care.
The care that Eximius Live-in Care has provided for my elderly mother has been exemplary and I couldn’t recommend them enough. From the first (anxious!) phone calls I made where our options were sensitively discussed to my mother meeting the Eximius team and her carers, it feels like she has family with her every day and for that we will be forever grateful. You’ve given her a new lease of life and, particularly in current times, that’s something to cherish. I can’t thank the team enough!
My then 95-year-old Mother reached a stage in June this year when she needed care but wanted to stay in her own home. I had already been recommended Eximius and my Mother had met the managing director. Within a week of contacting her again in June, they had found a suitable carer/companion and the field care supervisor attended my Mother's home to introduce them. Our experience so far has been very positive. My Mother is very happy with her companion and has said on a number of occasions that she is very lucky to have her. She not only has the help and support she needs [including with medical issues] but also they go on outings and short walks, they play games and she helps her to access technology to have video contact with the family. We only have experience of one companion so far as the family have covered the companion's breaks. All the office managers are friendly and helpful and know who I am and who my mother is. We are very happy to have found this agency.
We used Eximius when we needed short term care for my mother-in-law. She had taken a fall and ended up in hospital and was desperate to get home. They turned it round in 24 hours and were wonderful with her. After 3 weeks she could cope on her own but she was very sorry to see her carer go! I would not hesitate to use them again.
A positive process from my first meeting and emails with the business owner. My mother's carer, who started 4 months ago, is professional, warm, kind and flexible. She is helping Mum to remain active with daily walks and to retain her independence. My mother's anxiety levels have dropped because she is in safe hands.
Eximius has been great at efficient support for the client. It has taken some time to match a companion that really suits the position here. Management has handled everything well. The owner has been superb.
I have complex care that requires three live-in carers which is a challenge. All the staff at Eximius are passionate about providing the right staff to make my team. My team are very caring and go the extra mile to make my life more enjoyable. Delicious hampers, flowers and birthday gifts are just a few delights that Eximius bring that make you feel special. Whatever your care needs, Eximius will take the time to sit and listen to provide the best possible care.
The general level of care was excellent; most needs were anticipated. We had two full-time carers are one fill in. The two full time we were really sad to say goodbye to.
This agency is very well lead by the managing director who has a very good team at their head office in Beaconsfield. They are exceptionally caring and friendly towards their clients and make them feel important and as comfortable as possible depending on their disability. They have a good team at their head office and very good live-in carers with their clients.
While their care and support are excellent, it's the little things that they get so right. They sent flowers when my mother started with them, send her a personal birthday present every year and she always looks forward to their Christmas hamper! They've just introduced a recipe book and water jug to help her nutritional needs too. We are so pleased we picked Eximius when there is so much choice available. We can’t recommend them highly enough or thank them enough for all they’ve done.
My parents did not want live-in care and were very resistant to the idea. The owner came and met with them. She understood and addressed all their concerns and they agreed to a 2-week trial. From our first interaction with the manager, through to the lady in the office, the process was smooth, swift and professional. The carer they placed with my parents was perfect, and they now cannot live without her! A huge relief to us as a family and a welcome helping hand to my parents. Thank you, Eximius!

“For the past 13 years, I’ve seen the enormous positive impact live-in support has on people’s lives. Following a 16-year career in sales and marketing, I started a care franchise in 2002 and one of my first-ever clients needed a live-in carer. Since then, it has always been a passion of mine.
I operated the business for 13 years, employing over 100 carers, and had more than 350 clients at any one time. Our clients came from all walks of life and needed different specialised care. Whether recuperating from a spell in hospital or hindered by a long-term condition or disability, giving them the support they needed at home in familiar surroundings near friends and family couldn't be beaten. It's why I am so passionate about live-in support. It is important to keep your loved one in their home surroundings. I look forward to welcoming you.
We are a bespoke live-in care company. Unlike other companies, we meet all our clients and are committed to ensuring our companions live by the culture and service levels I have set. I want all our clients to be delighted by our service and ensure they are treated with dignity and respect.”
“I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. I began my career as a care worker over 20 years ago, having been bought up in a family where everyone was either a doctor or a nurse.
I began as a domiciliary worker and worked in various areas, such as mental health, stroke care, dementia care and end of life. I moved into care recruitment, enabling me to hone my skills in matching carers to clients. I eventually managed live-in care and continuing health, working with nurses and carers for clients with spinal injuries, head injuries, MS and other conditions.
Being given the opportunity to turn my aptitude for caring for others into a career has allowed me to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Gaining the necessary knowledge and experience to perform a more involved role in a managing capacity has motivated me to continue working and learning to the same high standard and allowed me to make an even greater difference in the lives of our service users.
I joined Eximius in 2018 as a Care Manager, as I was looking for a company which shared my vision and ethos for exceptional live-in care.”
“I started working in the care sector 23 years ago. Throughout my career, I’ve mainly worked within domiciliary settings and hospital environments. My first introduction into care was as a care worker working in the community delivering support to adult/elderly service users, covering a wide variety of complex needs including, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, brain injury, palliative care, and varied levels and types of dementia.
I also have experience working in a large local hospital as a healthcare assistant, which I did for 4 years. My focus there was mainly within the Emergency Division, supporting patients on admission with observations and monitoring. This role allowed me to work alongside many clinicians, including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and Doctors.
I do feel that people thrive and live better lives from good support from within the community. I have worked as a Field Supervisor throughout my years and have been privileged to assist people to resource help and support and to live their lives as they choose to."
I have gained several qualifications from level 2 in health and social care and am currently working on level 3.
Candice started off as a domiciliary carer and moved her way up the ranks to the senior carer, FCS, and Care Co-Ordinator. She has worked in a nursing home and in domiciliary care.
“I love working in the care industry as no two days are ever the same. It is rewarding to work for a company that believes in values and person-centred care and going that extra mile to make a client happy and their staff.”
Dawn joined the Eximius Team in August 2021. She has been working in the care sector for 6 years. She has experience in caring for people with a wide range of complex needs including MS, Motor Neurone Disease, brain injury, spinal injury, challenging behaviour, Palliative care and Dementia.
