I have terminal gallbladder cancer and was given care by Fuchsia Care at the beginning of Jan 26 when I came out of the Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
All of the carers sent to look after me have been kind, cheerful and friendly and I always enjoy their company when they come to my home. Every day, without fail, I am washed, dressed, dried gently and popped onto the sofa, ready to spend my day in comfort. I have no complaint about any carer; in fact there is one lady that I would like to raise on a pedestal for her excellent attitude to her work and the quality of the care she gives me nearly every day. Her name is Simona and she is WONDERFUL! When March 01 rolled by, Simona gave me a small,, brightly coloured brooch of a basket of Spring flowers. Romanians like Simona wear them for the first 9 days of March and my daughter and I wore ours, too. It is a lovely way to welcome Spring into one's home and I will never forget it and the kindness and efficiency of dear Simona!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and uplifting message about the care you receive.
It is truly wonderful to hear that all of our carers have been kind, cheerful, and supportive, and that you feel comfortable and well cared for in your own home. This is exactly the...
My 90 year old Mum came home in May 2025, from a long stay in hospital and rehab after a chest infection led to pneumonia then sepsis. She can no longer stand or get around herself and has carers come in four times a day to support us with her care. Her main carers Dan and Maria are nothing short of amazing. Kind, compassionate, professional, perceptive and treat Mum with respect and dignity. They have taken time to get to know her and her interests so they share some great conversations and often have a laugh and joke together. I like the fact that whatever is going on in our busy household their focus is always firmly on Mum and what she needs.
I will never forget hearing Mum say to them as early as day 3 that she felt safe with them and trusted them, which was a huge comfort to us at such a difficult and challenging time.

My father, siblings and I will be eternally grateful to Adriana & Andrei and Bianca & Cat for the exemplary level of care they provided for my late beloved Mother. They handled her with great gentleness and respect. She felt safe in their hands and enjoyed their company. They addressed her directly and asked what she wanted. They got to know how she liked her earl grey tea and always gave it to her with a smile. I was particularly impressed that they always forewarned her that she was about to be rolled or lifted and when they were about to administer medication. Their knowledge of the medication and medical equipment was of a very high standard. Their willingness to assist the Community Nurses, who were short staffed, in rolling Mum in order to have her dressings changed was also gratefully received. All four carers fitted in immediately to our family setting and helped create a calm, happy atmosphere in the room. They joined in family banter and took a polite friendly interest in Dad
Your kind words about Adriana, Andrei, Bianca, and Cat will be shared with...
My sister was sent home from hospital for palliative/ end of life care. She had metastatic breast cancer and unfortunately there was nothing more they could do. Her carers Alex and Luce looked after her for the last two months of her life. They were absolutely wonderful and a tremendous support for the whole family. I'm a nurse myself and we are not always easy to please but the care they gave was exceptional. My sister was so grateful for their gentle, kind care. If you or your loved ones are fortunate enough to have Alex and Luce, you are truly blessed. My sister felt safe in their care and the consistency of having her own carers who really knew her was priceless. We will never forget them and their kindness
Thank you very much for your kind words about our care workers. I will make sure that they know about this and we will reward them.
The care I receive is good, I am always treated with respect.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We're really pleased to hear that you're happy with the care and that you feel respected - that's exactly what we aim for. Upholding dignity, compassion, and consistent quality is central to our service values, and your feedback reassures us that we're meeting those standards.
The care I receive from the carers is excellent. They are very professional and caring. I receive a rota each week so I know who to expect and the timescale. They let me know if anything changes. I am able to discuss with them any issues that come up. Note, these are minor. If there are any examples, if I want to change my nighttime drink.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. It truly means a lot to our entire team to know that our efforts have made a positive impact. Your feedback not only brightens our day but also reinforces our commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care.
Overall my mother is reasonably happy with the level of service. The majority of carers have been friendly and helpful. We have had a physio come in to try and help my mother with her walking. Mostly the carers have carried this on with her which she enjoys. However, some of them sat in the car for a while before and after attending my mother. As they are paying for this they should be inside helping for the whole half hour. Otherwise, why are they paying for 2 carers when 1 would appear to be enough?
Thank you for your feedback! We are delighted to hear that your mom enjoys the exercises. As for her care, her physiotherapist will need to assess her progress to determine if she is ready to manage with one care worker. Once they make this assessment, either they or we can report the findings to social services. We are hopeful that this transition to one care worker will happen soon.
I am extremely happy with the level of care and support I receive from Fuchsia, the carers always do their best to help and support you. Fuchsia always do their best to accommodate any medical appointments you have.
The carers are always polite and respectful and carry out their caring role professionally. They always wear the correct personal protective equipment that they should wear in their role. I am always comfortable with them being in my home.
I have carers three mornings a week to supervise showering - mainly for my daughter's peace of mind, - but I regard the three regular carers on my rota as not just carers but real friends. They all balance these aspects perfectly, efficiently, and professionally. Without exception, every visit is a delight and a ray of sunshine to start what is usually a long lonely day. I feel I can trust all of them implicitly with the topics of care and concern which I may have. I am so lucky to have found Fuchsia and I hope to have this level of care for a long time to come. Thank you all.
Roster times are not being adhered to and generally running late in the time frames. We are I suppose lucky to mostly have the "A" team of carers who are very very caring and neat and tidy. Glad that one carer has sorted out her car, on that front, she had a car problem on 4th March lunch time so I phoned in and cancelled that visit but you still charged me for it.
We are very satisfied with the care and attention we have experienced from the Fuschia carers.
Thank you very much for the review and we will pass the message to the care workers.
Overall I am pleased with the care you give to my husband, but sometimes there are language difficulties. The carers you send are always pleasant and well-mannered but one pair you send can be very erratic time-wise.
All kind, caring and supportive, happy with the service. The only issue is sometimes I ring the office to cancel a visit and the message doesn't get passed on to the staff involved, had problems getting block care in the past, lack of communication.
Thank you very much for the review. We are sorry to hear that you experienced that with our company and we will try to make sure that the message is passed on to the team involved. Sometimes because of the lack of staff we cannot cover block of care but we trying our best to meet all our customers needs.
I'm very pleased with the care they give my mum, they are willing to help with anything you ask they go above and beyond nothing is too much trouble for them very polite and friendly. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback! We are so pleased you are happy with our carers!
Found this company extremely helpful in getting my mother back to health, when she came out of hospital and since then she has improved greatly, found the carers very professional, supportive and caring and also very tidy at clearing up after themselves. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a positive review about our care service. It is our priority to provide exceptional care and support.
Staff overall are efficient, respectful and considerate of our health condition. Supervisor monitoring of staff and training can be seen to be effective in care service delivery.
