They are all different and have their own stories to tell from their day. We look forward to seeing them with the happy and relaxed atmosphere they bring with them.
We are happy to hear the carers bring warmth, kindness and humour to when they visit and their passion about helping others has meant they have become like family.
It is also amazing to hear that you look forward to...
Helping Hands have just been utterly brilliant. I broke my arm at the end of June, and living alone has meant that I've needed help with things like washing my hair and changing my bedding. From the first visit from Steph to talk about what I needed, to each and every one of the carers I've had, the service has been amazing. I never thought I'd need carers in my 50's! But it's been a great experience in the circumstances so thank you all so very much.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5* review, we really do appreciate it.We are pleased to hear that you feel Helping Hands have been utterly brilliant in supporting you with things such as washing your hair and changing your bedding after braking your arm. It is also great to know that...
Helping Hands have provided an excellent service to my wife caring for her needs in a very professional way, The carers have been thoughtful and shown great compassion and support and my wife has felt comfortable and happy with all of them. It could not have been any better.
Good Morning Clive, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5* review, we really appreciate it. It is great to hear Helping Hands has provided an excellent service to your wife, caring for her needs in a professional way. We are also pleased to hear the carers have been thoughtful and show...
I'm very happy with the service that Helping Hands have provided for my Mum, who has advanced dementia and limited mobility. It took a while to settle in to a routine and find the right carers to suit Mum, but since then they have provided important consistency in the carers who look after Mum as well as being very helpful and responsive when we've had a problem or needed emergency cover. Mum's regular carers now are lovely, warm people, I feel very fortunate to have them looking after her and making her life as comfortable and happy as it can be.
We have used Helping Hands for some time. Everyone, carers and office staff are always very helpful and professional and always ready to listen. Whenever circumstances have changed they are always happy to accommodate any new requirements.
I have only needed minimal care so far but my husband is shortly going into hospital to have an operation and the manager responded immediately with a care plan to suit my needs.
Helping Hands are very approachable and the staff are so caring at all levels. Respectful, caring and incredibly supportive of clients aims and ambitions. We feel very lucky to have found them. They listen, are very helpful and hygiene is as paramount to them as us. All needs met with dignity to clients well being.
Mum has been very happy and settled in the carers hands. Before they started, she was adamant that she didn't want strangers in her house. She has changed her mind completely and is very happy.
I have spoken to a couple of the ladies who help mum, also speaking to both two staff members in particular. Every one of them has been superb and lovely, caring people with mum's well being and happiness a priority.
I have recently had some issues with mum and one staff member in particular talked to mum about it all and helped her understand. Not easy with Alzheimer, but one staff member in particular went above and beyond to ease my worries.
I can't recommend the company and everyone I have dealt with highly enough. Thank you so much.
Recently it was necessary for me to go away for a few days and Live In Care was provided by the Day Care team. This meant that the carers knew my husband and his ways and they also knew our home. The two managers in the Tunbridge Wells office spent a lot of time talking to me and then devised the timetable for the carers. This had to be tweaked a few times during the week as my husband's needs changed. Thanks to the managers and the carers I was able to spend some much needed time with family. While I was away I was able to relax and not worry about my husband, the managers had told me that Helping Hands would cope and they certainly did. I now feel that I can look forward to having another break in a few months time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands.
I'm so glad that we were put in touch with Helping Hands through the Macmillan Service though subsequently discovered other friends had been helped enormously by your caring and supportive organisation from the organiser who visited me initially and carried out the introduction of the carer.
Best wishes,
All in all an excellent experience and I would recommend them.
The staff were all absolutely exceptional, with no exceptions.
Overall the key themes were kindness and staff giving their all.
When my father died our carer was hugely supportive as were the managers.
Helping Hands were very efficient from the start. Finding a suitable live-in carer for my mother-in-law's needs. The carer they matched has been very hands-on, kind and thoughtful and has dealt well with all her needs which are not always easy with her Alzheimers and Dementia. With their help, she has been able to remain in her home with her pets as she wished. Still early days but hopefully with continued support she will be able to continue living there.
Helping Hands have helped look after my parents for a number of years. It has been a complex placement but our area manager has gone above and beyond to ensure that we feel supported. When there have been problems she has reassured us and dealt with them as soon as possible to take the pressure off us.
I have been with my main carer for 3 years now. She is a professional providing a vital service daily to me and is capable of dealing with any aspects of my daily care, needs and well being. She can deal with everything, from household matters to holding one of my parties, or medical matters successfully. She is always available for me at all times when she is needed. She provided vital carrying service during a short illness I had this month. All aspects of nursing, communicating with the surgery and out of hours services, pharmacist, administering medicines and my well being were dealt in a professional and successful way once again.
Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review for us! I'm delighted to hear how happy you are with your carer and that all aspects of your daily care have been dealt with in a successful way. We're truly grateful for your kind feedback!
Best wishes
After an initial administrative mistake, Helping Hands contacted me, owned the issue, apologised and reassured me that they would get to the bottom of things in order to deliver the services for which they are so well respected.
A few days later, and due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, I had cause to request an urgent care package of them. Helping Hands delivered!
My family will be forever grateful for the speed, diligence, professionalism and humanity with which Helping Hands accepted our request within the day and coordinated additional cover to begin the very next day! Kudos and much respect to the Helping Hands team.
Communication has been excellent and the carers really do care.
I can now be my mum's son again and not her carer.
The carers provided are wonderful and have kept our parents safe.
Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review for us! I'm thrilled to hear how happy you are with our service and that our carers have been able to keep your parents safe. We're ever so grateful for your wonderful feedback!
Best wishes
My 90 year old mother has received wonderful live-in care from her two experienced carers who alternate. It gives me total peace of mind, knowing that as I drive away from seeing her, she is safe and well looked after in the comfort of her own home.
As for the company manager, herself was kind, compassionate, helpful, nothing too much bother. I would certainly recommend this care provider to anyone.
