My mother in law was cared for at home by a bank of Royal Care carers in the last few days of her life. Every carer who came to attend to my mother in law was just brilliant, so helpful, kind, considerate, tender and punctual. They made sure my mother in law was comfortable and retained her dignity throughout the last days of her life, right until her last breath. They also ensured that the family were kept appraised as to what was happening and why and we all thank them for their kindness when we needed it most.
Royal Care provides a decent service, the care staff tend to be very friendly and helpful in assisting my required care needs. The management is good, they phone fairly frequently to ensure my needs and requirements are being met. Overall, Royal Care is a very good care provider.
Thank you for your review, please call us if you need anything at all.
These kind carers touched my heart with their compassion in my situation. The comforting smile and laughter, there's no price for these moments, which I will remember always. I commend them all. Bless you and thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it's our pleasure.
We can't thank the girls enough for their care, love and compassion in all aspects of dad's care! He always looked forward to their twice daily visits and they in turn spent time listening to and laughing with dad! The girls always had time for him and us as a family and nothing was too much trouble.
The carers were very good. Only had for a short time. Very polite and caring. Punctual.
Your carers were kind and compassionate when dealing not only with the patient (my mum) but also when dealing with my dad. They helped my mum retain her dignity until the end being kind and gentle.
I am very pleased with this care service. The staff are very caring and pleasant. Always very clean and tidy and try to make me comfortable before they leave. Always come on time.
Please commend the Field Care Supervisor in particular for her cheerful approach and comforting manner.
I was pleased to receive this as I wanted to get in touch with the carers. They all did a wonderful job and I thank them for it under difficult circumstances with the Covid-19 it was very difficult. Thank you all.
They offer a very good service and always on time or phone to let me know if there's a problem. I would recommend Royal Care, which I have been having for the last 2-3 months, and staff are always polite and caring and respectful. Plus they all like to have a chat and work at the same time, which makes your care enjoyable and comfortable. Recommend company in the area for care.
As indicated below, the service was very good when times were correct for our situation.
As mum was frail, the tenderness of many carers was appreciated. She loved their attention. As her carer, the timing of some calls, in particular, the lunchtime one, (sometimes a little over 2 hours since the breakfast call) was a problem particularly when mum also had a call from the community nursing team.
My partner and I find the management staff extremely helpful and the care staff are very friendly, as well as being helpful and cheerful too, on the whole, very reliable and satisfactory service is provided by Royal Care, and I would happily recommend them as being an excellent care provider.
My experience of Royal Care is all positive. What I like about them is that they are consistent with their call times so you know where you are. My husband has care four times a day. The staff are very respectful they always have a smile on their face and they do a wonderful job of the care they carry out. Nothing is too much trouble. I have to mention the manager who frequently comes out to care as well. He is excellent at what he does and goes above and beyond in everything he does including the interaction with my husband. In every job, we strive for excellence and we know there is always room for improvement and that is what he tells his staff.
Thank you for such kind words. It is always a pleasure.
We were really pleased with the care provided. We managed to keep mum at home and she died peacefully in her sleep.
Thank you for your kind review, it was a pleasure to care for mum.
Royal Care worked with my elderly bed-bound partner, at home, for the last three weeks of his life following discharge from hospital. Suffering from dementia and with very limited mobility and a range of other medical problems, he received the support of two carers, four times a day. Staff treated my partner with respect, compassion and dedication at all times. Carers took their time and ensured that he was comfortable and happy in their care. Excellent management of the team ensured that as far as possible, my partner received the 'right care at the right time'. Careful paring and excellent 'on the job' mentoring provided ongoing staff development for less experienced members of the team. Care was, therefore, characterised by a high level of consistency of approach and handling. He knew what to expect and responded well to each member of the team. Carers communicated with me constantly so that I was able to provide effective care between their visits. Excellent care overall.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was our pleasure to care for your partner.
Some of the caring staff do not appear to be experienced, but some are.
Overall, I was impressed with the competence and compassion shown by Royal's staff. I felt that Mum was in good hands.
They are looking after my wife to the best of their ability and are always willing to be helpful in whatever is needed.
I have used this service for a month and in that time I have found the carers very kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I can honestly say that I couldn't have managed without them. They are to be recommended very highly.
