The carers did a great job in supporting Mum, especially with the complex and regulated medication Mum was on.

Mum, and the family bonded with a number of the caregivers.

The management were always communicative where there were concerns and similarly, the management were very responsive to family concerns and put in a significant effort to mitigate any family concerns.

Overall Experience

Royal Care looked after my husband from the end of March 2026 until his death at the beginning of September. They were all unfailingly polite and respectful, even bringing a card and pot plant for his birthday. As he gradually became less able to respond to them, they still kept on talking to him, as well as looking out for me and how I was coping. All of them treated him with respect, despite having to persuade him at times to submit to things he disliked, such as wearing the padded boots to prevent bed sores on his heels. Thank you all for your patience and your strong stomachs and for giving my husband such truly royal care.

Overall Experience

Royal Care Dover took over the care for our Dad for approximately 10 months when he needed a KCC arranged package so we were reluctant initially due to having had no choice in provider. The carers however are all very professional and efficient and took the time to get to know his needs and provide the care accordingly. There was consistency and they never missed a visit. As with all care agencies, some of the carers really stand out and will interact more and put alot of effort into the connection and interactions with the client and family members and some clearly have a higher level of knowledge and experience. Others were quieter and more task focussed but the balance of this worked as he had double hander visits . We are very appreciative of the care that was provided.

Overall Experience

Dover Care Agency have been transformational in helping my Mum and Dad cope at home. Their carers are kind, thoughtful and gentle with my Dad. They generally arrive on time and certainly well within a 20 minute window which is so helpful. The managerial and administrative side is also excellent. They are speedy in responding to enquiries and they were able to organise some extra visits that were needed at very short notice so my Mum could go a funeral. They are really amazing.

In the last month or so of her life, my wife was visited twice per day by a pair of caregivers from Royal Care. The pairs often changed but never the level of care, which was always 100% and often more, the individuals going above and beyond the call of duty. I got to know all of them and looked forward to seeing them, and even now, 6 weeks after my wife's death, I can still remember their names. Only this review site's requirement for confidentiality prevents me from writing out these names in homage. Thank you, dears.

The carers are very friendly and polite, but sometimes there is a language barrier. Considering the patient is elderly and hard of hearing. But they are patient and try and be as clear as possible.

They have listened and taken in all my concerns and preferences on carers whom handle my personal care. I am very happy with the team of carers i see everyday, they are polite, caring, dilegent and have happy smiles every day. The office team are friendly and quick to act if i need to make any changes last minute. They check in with me to see how I am doing and if there is anything I need to add to my care plan. I am happy with the care my Dad is receiving from Royal Care. All the staff that assist my Dad are very respectful and treat him with dignity. They interact with him respectfully and care for him well. I have been present when the carers arrive and have heard them talk and joke with my Dad which is lovely to hear. The carers also interact with my Mum well as she is the main carer for my Dad with my support. My Mum would not be able to manage without the caring support from the carers, and it would not be possible keep him at home. The standard of care is excellent and I have no concerns. Having the monthly review from Royal Care manager is valuable as if there is any concerns they are sorted out efficiently. All the family are very pleased with the care my Dad is getting and I thank all the carers for what they do and as it means so much to me as my Dad can stay at home with my Mum with there support. Overall Experience

Royal Care nursed my Mum when she was dying of cancer. They took such good care of her and treated her with the dignity and respect that Mum deserved. The team were excellent and helped my Dad and I through this very sad and difficult time. It was so helpful that they could offer help at night as my 80 year old Dad was exhausted by night's of broken sleep. For a fee, a member of staff would do a night duty and watch over my Mum so that Dad knew she was safe when he slept. Immediately after mum died, Dad was diagnosed with heart failure. Again we turned to Royal Care so he could stay in his own home. They offered him a bespoke twice a day visiting plan assisting with meal preparation, washing and ironing etc. He knows all the staff so well and they are all so kind, respectful and friendly! If anything was amiss at a visit, they would immediately alert me offering me assurance of Dad safety.

I would 100 percent recommend Royal Care for the excellent service that they provide!

This is from both myself and my mother that has the care from you. They are thorough,friendly, efficient and above all, caring. We are very happy with the service.

The only thing I don't know how to check is the actual time they spend there? What time they arrive and what time they leave?
David is always available to sort out any queries or amendments and I would recommend them to any family that want to retain a family feel for their loved them
