Meet the Team (2)

I am the Registered Area Manager for Home Care Assist, a role I grew into after starting in care with the personal motivation of wanting to provide the best support for my grandparents. What began as a desire to make a difference in their lives quickly evolved into a passion for helping others, and over time, I progressed through the sector, gaining experience and expertise. In my current role, I oversee multiple care teams, ensuring high standards of person-centred care, staff development, and compliance with regulations, all while maintaining the compassion and dedication that first drew me to this work.

After years as a teaching assistant, I made a career change into care and quickly discovered a passion for supporting others. Since becoming a Care Supervisor in 2023, I have been learning every day while taking on a wide range of responsibilities. I oversee care worker spot checks and competencies to ensure staff are confident and skilled, complete regular audits and service reviews to maintain compliance and high standards, and provide hands-on support to both clients and staff. My role combines leadership, quality assurance, and direct care, all delivered with a focus on compassionate, person-centred support.
