Overall Experience

My father is very happy with his twice-weekly care visits. The carers are always very flexible on what they will help him with which means he gets support on things that are important to him when the carers visit. The people working behind the scenes in the office are very well-organised: the initial assessment visit was easy to organise, people are always helpful when I call and everyone does their best to ensure that the same carers visit whenever possible.

Overall Experience
Mum went from being a reluctant care receiver to someone who enjoyed and looked forward to the carer visits in almost no time at all. She wanted company and someone to talk to, but they also had a view to doing as much home care as she would allow.

Mum is not always an easy person, and they seemed to deal with this with infinite ease!

Overall Experience
We have been extremely pleased with the level of care provided for our 91-year-old father.
Communication with the staff in the office is excellent, and all our requests are always passed on to the team of carers straight away.
We are also very pleased that regular staff visit our father, which is reassuring and provides continuity in his care.

The daily comments in the client portal are very helpful, with the right amount of detail for both myself and my sister who both live 2.5 hours away.

Overall Experience
As a family, we have really appreciated the care our father has received. The agency seems professional, well organised and have addressed our father’s needs.

We have particularly seen a great improvement in his depression and this is because of his excellent morning carer, who is fantastic with him!

My mum and I are very grateful for the brilliant care she received from the lovely Bluebird carers. They were kind, attentive, willing, polite and considerate. All we had hoped for and more. The managing staff answered all my queries promptly. I know that prior to this we were both a little wary of the idea of "carers" Bluebird Care have dispelled our concerns. We would highly recommend.

I was really impressed with how Bluebird responded to my call. They were able to set up a carer who matched mum's needs within a few days, and Mum has bonded really well with the carer; it was such a relief to know that Mum can continue to live on her own, in her own home, but now with a daily visit tailored to her individual needs. Living two hundred miles away, I am unable to help on a daily basis, but Bluebird has stepped in, and I am very grateful for the care package being delivered each day. The care offered is a mixture of social interaction, practical hygiene assistance and minor medical help.

Highly recommend these care providers.

This is not the first company we have used for a care package for my father, but by far the best. All the carers have been punctual, smart and very caring. They actually seem to want to be there. The senior staff are also on the ball. Always checking if everything is ok and easy to speak to. It really does go a long way. Cannot fault these care providers.

My mother (88) suffered a pelvic fracture in July. After NHS care was withdrawn, what a nightmare to find private care for her. From assessment to care I can only give the highest praise for this company. Totally professional, totally caring. Mum hadn’t had a shower since coming home but after the first visit, this was introduced. She has now been given the confidence to be able to manage this herself. The carers have become friends and both Mum and myself are totally confident in their care and support. Those with vulnerable parents in this situation need look no further than this excellent agency. Thanks to you all.

This has been a new experience for me due to my present circumstances and mobility problems. I receive no personal care but have such valued support and help provided, as needed, from the carer. She has come alongside, is always cheery and willing to help. Visits are looked forward to.

My brother and I are very pleased with the invaluable support Bluebird provided. My brother had suffered from a traumatic brain injury caused by a road traffic accident and as a result, he struggled to cope with daily tasks to look after himself. Bluebird staff showed compassion and care when arranging his homecare. The carers who matched understood his care needs extremely well. The rehabilitation support was fantastic and was evidenced in all the positive changes. We were very pleased with Bluebird and we would not hesitate to recommend them. They genuinely care and will go above and beyond.

Overall Experience

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for what you did for my wife. A year ago I was faced with looking after my wife who had double incontinence, a colostomy and the start of dementia. She was diagnosed with bowel cancer. The workload was having an effect on my health. It then became apparent that as well as helping me, the social contact and laughter from the carers was having a beneficial effect on my wife. She looked forward to their visits. The carers became 'family'.

We have been so lucky to have Bluebird during the Coronavirus lockdown. They have worked hard to keep my parents safe and stress-free at this really difficult time. Bluebird responds quickly and intelligently to changing circumstances and have built a great understanding with my parents who both suffer from dementia. We would struggle enormously without them.

My aunt and I were very satisfied with the support and service received from Bluebird Care team both in terms of the care delivered and the professional approach to the administration side of the business. The kindness and dedication shown by all of the carers who visited my aunt was second to none. Any concerns noted on arrival or problems which occurred during a carer's visit were immediately brought to my attention and requests for adjustments to the care package were dealt with to our satisfaction. We would not hesitate to recommend Bluebird Care to any family or friends.
